About: I've taken care of animals since around the age of 10. I have taken fear free courses through the Benton County Humane society and have experience training dogs as well. I'm currently working from home and have a small fenced yard. My furbaby is 8 years old, around 70 pounds and gets along well with everyone. About: I have taken care of a variety of breeds of dogs and cats throughout my life. My parents have several dogs through six different breeds. Apart from feeding, watering, and running my parents dogs, I was often relied on by community members to be their dog sitter and to feed, water, and clean pens when they were unable to do. I work from 6a-2:30p Mon-Friday. Along with work, I am a student at Eastern Oregon University doing the online program. I can easily work around schoolwork everyday. About: I was raised with cats my entire life. I have adopted them from shelters and i have even rescued them sad situations. I love cats and can not imagine my life without a cat or two at home! They know just when your feeling down and need a cuddle buddy. Sometimes, if your lucky you can watch a cat exhibiting a behavior that wild, large breed cats do, such as stalking and hunting! Cats seem like they don't care if you are around or not, but if you ever have had a cat you know that's the furthest thing from the truth.

She seems to get some separation anxiety at times though they did such a good job adjusting to her needs with exercise, attention, and care. About: I've taken care of animals since around the age of 10. I have taken fear free courses through the Benton County Humane society and have experience training dogs as well. I'm currently working from home and have a small fenced yard. My furbaby is 8 years old, around 70 pounds and gets along well with everyone. I have dogsat for my parents and brother at the same time, totaling 6 dogs one weekend... which was a lot. Dogs are welcome on beds and furniture in my home, I would just appreciate them to be potty trained.

“We had such a great experience with Makena. She was incredibly accommodating, especially with our German Shepherd, Lainey. We reached out with only about three days’ notice and she was still able to make it work, which we really appreciated. This was Lainey’s first time ever staying somewhere other than our home while we were on vacation, so we were a little nervous. Makena made us feel completely at ease by sending pictures and videos every day so we could see how well Lainey was doing. She even took Lainey to a self pet wash, which was such a thoughtful extra and totally above and beyond. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats the dogs like her own. We’re so grateful for such a positive first experience and will absolutely be using Makena again. Highly recommend her.”
