“Hailey was absolutely amazing, especially since we had to make a last minute booking for our pup who had never been away from us overnight. Hailey was so knowledgeable, patient, and sent us a ton of updates! She was thorough in making sure she had all of the info she needed to make sure our pup had a great time and felt safe. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone I know.”

“Marissa bonded easily with Harley. Harley obviously liked her, evidenced by her sleeping on her lap so quickly. I will definitely be bringing Harley back for my next travel event in May!”

“Bethany was fantastic! Very easy to coordinate and schedule with and she took great care of our beagle, Annie. She had two very lovely dogs that Annie got on with very well. Would definitely reach out her to again for dog care.”

About: Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for nearly two decades. My attention to detail never goes unnoticed and I am confident in my abilities to comfort your pet(s) by making them feel special and safe! I have experience with all kinds of creatures — dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents/ferrets, fish, and waterfowl, at all stages of life. Yes, even your beloved seniors. I’m a parent/caregiver to a child with disabilities and while that does not affect my ability to care for animals, it can limit some of my time due to my child’s day-to-day needs, appointments, etc. I update my calendar accordingly to reflect my availability. With that said, most of our appointments are virtual or in-home and I am a stay at home mom so I still have plenty of time for pet care. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs and I am always nearby supervising. I allow pets on furniture and treat them just like my own when I’m watching pets in my home. Instructions regarding potty breaks, feeding, kennel time, medications, etc., are always followed if given.
“We were so pleased from the care, love and attention Tuesday received from Kyle and Paige! He came back to us happy and energetic, and not anxious at all, which is not the norm when we leave him. They'd send us pictures throughout his stay and their dog, moose, was so welcoming and friendly to Tuesday!”

“Wendy is amazing. My dogs have the best time with her and she always goes the extra mile to accommodate their needs. Would highly recommend her for your four-legged kiddos! W. in Gleneden Beach”

“Vicki was Absolutely wonderful! Upon booking she asked if we wanted to meet up ahead of time to help familiarize my dog with where she would be staying and also finding out what she needs. She was great at texting to confirm details the day before and always kept me updated with photos and when she ate and pooped and warmed up. Honestly she is the best sitter I have found and would highly recommend using her if needed! I never once felt worried about my dogs care!”

About: I have worked with puppy’s, potty training, kitten litter box training, training cats to refrain from scratching furniture. I’ve worked with all breeds of dogs, (Pitbulls, Cane Corsos, Miniature Poodles) I do not have a sense of smell, hahaha (from a car accident over 20 years ago) so cleaning litter boxes or picking up doggy potty doesn’t bother me! I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets. I’m “that neighbor” who takes care of all the stray cats, haha. I work from home as a freelance writer and artist therefore have a very flexible schedule. I also have a 9 year old who lives with me half the week and his father half the week. Thankfully, we coparent beautifully and work with each other’s schedules. I do believe it takes a lot of stress off of your pet not having to leave their environment. They are already feeling the stress having “their person” away so I find it’s best for the animal having a sitter in the environment they’re already used to. I follow whatever your routine is in the home. Only exception would be if you’re seeking additional behavior training . When I train, in a way I treat the animals as if they’re toddlers. There’s a reward system.
About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets. For over twenty years, friends, families, business associates and everybody's been happy and i'm even animal cpr trained I am currently not working. Uh, so I have lots of time to spend with your pets playing with them. I have six acres, and i'm always outside with the dog, so never outside alone. I have a partially fenced yard. I have 6 acres, and I have trails through the property. But I never let the dogs go out by themselves. I always walk them through my property at least four times a day.

About: Is your cat cuddly and clingy? Does your cat prefer to have nothing to do with humans? I am happy to be there no matter what! I have lived with and cared for cats my entire life. All "care experience" for dogs in my profile can be applied here as well. I have experience administering medicine, bathing, trimming claws, as well as respecting and understanding boundaries and body language in cats. I have been around many different breeds and temperaments, including (but not limited to): bombay, flamepoint siamese, ragdoll, persian, calico, tortoiseshell, tabbys, maine coones, sphynx.

About: We’ve been hands-on pet parents since bringing home our first dog as a puppy 2.5 years ago. Through daily training sessions, we’ve gained experience with obedience, routines, positive reinforcement, and understanding a dog’s individual needs. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always our top priority. Unfortunately, due to allergies we can only accept hypoallergenic dogs. My wife and I both work from home so there is always someone around to monitor the pups. We have availability for frequent restroom breaks and plenty of outdoor exploration and exercise. We will do our best to keep the normal feeding and play schedule that your have at your home. Our dog, Moose, is a 15 lb Shih Tzu mix who loves to play with all other dogs and can keep them entertained for hours. He adapts to the temperament of other friends.
“Marissa was great! She was super responsive and attentive with Zoey. It was perfect to have my pup spend a few hours with her while I visit the Tillamook Creamery. I would definitely rebook if I’m in the area :)”

“Wendy was really great! We will definitely be reaching out if staying on the coast again and need to venture in undogged territory. She was very responsive and our pups loved her. We felt like our sweet girls were in really good hands.”

“Absolutely amazing! I wish Vicki could be our dog sitter in every state we travel to. She kept me updated on our dog, Lilo, the entire time and did such an incredible job caring for a senior dog, especially one who needs frequent potty breaks.”

About: Well I’ve had cats all my life but I do love dogs! I have done over night(s)! I love taking dogs for walks & to parks to run around and possibly play with other dogs I’ve helped with a friend of mine dogs while his other family members were off on a camping trip so I took them out for potty a few times a day, fed them, & played with them. I’m definitely an animal lover who loves being outdoors and helping out if and when needed I’ve been told multiple times that I’m a cat/dog whisperer if you know what I mean by that. If there is anything in particular you wanna know feel free to ask. I currently am a homemaker and do have my own vehicle. I currently have a very open schedule but I do not drive. My partner drives me (or animals!) wherever I need to go. First things first I like to have a conversation with the clients about their pet specific needs and schedules. If a, “In-home” pet sitting is needed, I also like to go over any house or home rules. This can vary depending on the animal.
About: I can care for your geriatric or special needs dog, administer medications and engage in low impact exercise. I also have extensive experience with puppies, obedience training and behavioral training. If you don’t need specialized services you can still call me to walk and play with your healthy or energetic pup. I am currently a gig worker and have a flexible schedule which allows me to be available to you and your pets on short notice. I will care for your pet(s) in your home or take them outside of the home for walks/play. I will treat your home with respect and care, locking doors and following any instructions/preferences you have.

About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.
