We were coming from out of town and headed to the beach but visited family for a couple days who doesn’t like dogs in the house, so we needed to find a place for our dog for a couple days. Nadine sent pictures everyday to let us know how Milly is doing. She has an amazing backyard and her pets were very friendly with her. Milly isn’t crate trained and Nadine was more than willing to accommodate that and let her sleep in the bed. Will definitely use her again when we come to town!”

Julie and Barry offered a meet-and-greet right away, which was lovely. Just a few days later, the boys returned for an overnight (test run-we were still in town). It took one of our boys almost the whole evening to settle in – – we were willing to pick him up right away, but Julie and Barry persisted and reassured us they were in good hands. Clearly, they were – – Julie and Barry have plenty of experience working with dogs, including dogs with special needs. The boys settled in for bed on time, and woke up happy and playful. About: I've loved cats for longer than I can remember - and I already know I love yours! I've had my own kitties for 6 years, and I've been taking care of others' cats for even longer, from young kittens to grumpy elders. I can give most kinds of oral and topical medications comfortably if your kitty needs any, and I have a decent amount of behavioral experience. Some of my own cats have been highly anxious or prone to aggression, and I've done long-term sits with cats still being gradually introduced, so I've seen and handled a lot! I'm also no stranger to litter box issues, and am more than happy to scrub any carpet. Bring on the enzyme cleaner!

About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently in January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. Stephen's wife, Connie, made a meds chart to ensure that every dose was given on time. That wasn't something we had planned for, but they were so great about it. Razor stayed with her a month ago and Leslie kept me well informed of how Razor was doing (and was very patient with my constant texts to check in on him 😊). Her house and yard are a perfect setup for the pups! Razor came home so content and comfortable (& tired!!) that I knew he loved Leslie and felt right at home. We booked with Leslie again for a second trip and when I brought Razor over, his tail was wagging so much and he ran right to her door to go inside! He didnt even look back to say bye! About: I have experience with multiple pets! I’ve had multiple pets since I was a child. I absolutely adore animals and would love to care for your furry babies! I am a full time college student. This is currently my source of employment. I am very communicative about scheduling changes and willing to work with my clients around scheduling changes I will be respectful of all client rules and requests.
