I was nervous leaving my puppy for the first time (I spent a long time making a decision and even visited other homes), but I felt comfortable leaving him there and I think he had lots of one on one time and was not alone very much. She seemed to really enjoy her time with my puppy (who is a bit of a handful despite his size). She checked in with photos every day. They went for lots of walks and play time and he seemed very well cared for overall. She even dropped him off for me as I was getting in on a late flight. My dog had some issues initially acclimating to the new environment and they went above and beyond to make him feel at home. About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. I love to take my dog on walks and understand the importance of keeping your animals healthy with activity and attention! I pet sit for family and friends on occasions well as house sit. I also am a babysitter and the family’s have dogs that need to be taken care of while I’m gone as well! I currently am in the summer before going into my freshman year of college! Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because I plan my time around their needs. About: Veterinary assistant background, I am willing and able to do medication drop ins, feedings, and walks. I can do daytime sitting as well and my capacity for that may open up later. I have worked with disabled, and anxious dogs and cats and am fairly comfortable with most personality types.
