“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

About: I have two dogs ages 5 & 6, I trained both of them when they were puppies. Brewer and goose love other dogs but can also be kept separate if needed. I’ve taken care of family pets since I was young and enjoy playing with animals. I currently home full time with my two children. We pop out for go to classes in the evening but are usually home Monday -Friday. We live in 6 acres of fenced in yard. Lots of room to play and throw ball. I have two high anxiety dogs and have been working on their social skills and coping methods to help their anxiety. I work full-time from home but take frequent breaks to let the dogs go out and play and take multiple walks a day to give them exercise. Weekends are mostly free to cuddle and to play with the fur babies. When house sitting or boarding pets I stay close so they be taken care of as needed. I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!
About: I’ve taken care of parrots, parakeets, cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, bees, and fish. I used to be a former cat breeder:)There’s not a limit as to what I can do. I currently have flexible availability and love to surround myself with furry companions🐱🐶 I take care of my kitty Sasha, she’s 18 years old and a sweetheart. Our pets deserve all the love that they can get! I have a fenced yard and a lot of space for your pet to run around, also indoor with 1 empty room in case your pet needs privacy and time alone to get adjusted.
About: I've had many pets since I was a young child. My grandparents had a farm so I've had experience with all sorts of animals. My dream is to have an animal sanctuary some day. I believe it's important to provide care to an animal in their home to limit stress and disruption to their normal routine. I have 3 dogs at home. Many of my home cleaning clients have animals so I'm exposed to all types of pets on a daily basis. Walking dogs provides exercise not only to the dog but for me as well. Providing care and a routine that the animal is used to is important to me. Communication with the pet parent is key to a successful experience with any animal.
