About: I currently have a pup of my own who I have been training. She still has work to do. I have spent years prior to that being the house/animal sitter back home in West Virginia. I work part time. I am a teacher during the school year. In the summer I just work 5 hours 2 days a week at a local winery. I usually walk/bike my dog every morning before work. On days I do not, I try to get her out on a longer walk or swim when the weather is really hot. I have a very flexible schedule in the summer to fit in other animals. I am pretty vigilant when it comes to my own dog. I try to make sure she gets plenty of exercise. She needs it. I love getting her socialized with older and younger dogs. I have even taken my pup to school with me to socialize best with my students are blind. I would follow the care needs set forth by the dog/cat parents. Please be sure to give special instructions if needed.
“What a wonderful spot and such a kind and gracious couple. Samantha and Colton watched our standard poodle on a last minute booking. Scout loved her stay! She puttered around the farm, played with Mosely, their sweet and cheerful aussie, and was happy relaxed girl when we picked her up. The property is spacious, safe and so cool! Samantha and Colton are in the process of developing a beautiful vineyard along the Columbia River called, The Narrows. They shared a bottle with us and it is fantastic. Samantha kindly told us about the history of the property, showed us the progress they have made thus far, and shared their future plans. I would be thrilled to leave Scout there again and hope to visit once the winery is fully up and running. A great experience all around. I highly recommend Samantha and Colton for your 4-legged famiy member. Five stars all around!”

“Haley took good care of our kitties. We have 4 cats and this was our first time using Rover. She did a meet and greet and reassured me that she was good with everything and also has experience. She had great communication and some challenges with event traffic near our home being close to the stadium but she still followed through on her commitment. About: I've basically been around dogs all my life and I love them dearly. I lived on a farm in Mexico for over 15 years and had my pack of 5 dogs. I enjoy playing and spending time with them, walks and talks :) I have patience for dogs like no other, their needs are my top priority. Every dog is a good dog🖤 I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have all the time in the world to take care and to have a fun time with your pup!! Walks, treats and belly rubs all day🖤 I have a fenced back yard that your pup and my pup can play in, many dog toys and of course the house to roam around in. My house isn't very small but not too big either, but its definitely safe for your pup 100%. I do walks locally, so it's safe and close to home!

Growing up, I was surrounded by pets of all shapes and sizes -from dogs and cats to farm animals, reptiles, and birds. That lifelong passion led me into a rewarding career in animal care. I have been a full-time professional dog groomer and daycare/boarding specialist for the past 20 years. I also have experience at a veterinary emergency center. In my free time, I would volunteer to walk shelter dogs. I understand that every dog is unique.
