“We had a fantastic experience with Alyssa. She is so caring and kept me in the loop with excellent communication. I got tons of cute photo updates, and she even kept me updated on how his bathroom schedule was going, which shows how much attention she pays to the details. My dog was in great hands and I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Such a great loving family. They took the absolute best care of our puppy Bodhi. We got lots of pictures and videos every day, they definitely treated him like their own pet. Bodhi didn’t want to leave, he had so much fun playing with their pup. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again!”

“Araceli is amazing. She was available at last minute for my babies and she always does an exceptional job. They love going to her house. She also has another husky which I know my dogs love. I would highly suggest her anytime. She is definitely my go-to”

“Yuting was great. She communicated daily and sent video and pics throughout our time away. Dave was exercised daily and had plenty of play time with her pups as well! Thanks, Yuting!”

“Our family is so grateful to Megan for taking such good care of Lumi! We had peace of mind knowing that she was well taken care off while we were on a trip. Megan shared many videos and photos. She also took Lumi to the dog park! We highly recommend Megan.”

“Our dogs came home happy and received such good care from Cassandra and Trevor. They communicated very well with lots of fun photo updates. We will definitely book again!”

“Jared took wonderful care of our 12-year-old dog, Ace, during a four-night stay. From the beginning, he was friendly, communicative, and made us feel completely at ease leaving our senior pup in his care. Ace came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Jared genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs. We really appreciated the peace of mind knowing Ace was in such good hands. We will definitely book with Jared again and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter.”

“Jennifer was great with my 3 dogs who have never been boarded at someone else’s house and two of them were a little nervous. They came around in no time, had the choice of sleeping with her if they wanted to, lots of room to play, and got along great with her dogs. We’ll definitely be back.”

“This was my first time using rover and I was a bit nervous leaving my dogs with someone that I didn’t know but Bobby and Linda made me feel very confident in their ability’s to take care of our dogs. “Matthew and Lindsay provided the best care for our senior dog. He usually experiences separation anxiety but was immediately comfortable in their house. They were also flexible with our ever changing situation. Highly recommend!!!”
“The people in this home made Mabel feel welcomed and loved. How do I know? All of the pictures and updates Christine sent me! I was able to work out of town without worrying about my girl, Mabes. My work can be stressful, and not having to worry about Mabel means so much to me. I will definitely want Mabel to go back to Christine's home!”

“We have relied on Callae multiple times to care for our two senior cats. We really appreciate her attentiveness and communication throughout her visits. Thank you again, Callae!”

About: While I have limited hands-on experience caring for cats, I am comfortable around them, eager to learn, and committed to following their individual care routines. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level, and I approach each one with patience, respect, and attention to their needs. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and ensure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐱🤍
“Makenzie was a wonderful cat sitter! From the get-go, Makenzie was very communicative and considerate, two qualities that remained strong and apparent throughout her care of Nova. She was even able to give my sometimes-difficult cat her medicine! We would definitely recommend Makenzie. :)”

About: I've taken care of cats of all kinds since I was young, I've had cats myself and always shown love to my outdoor stray cats, there's never been a cat I don't fall absolutely in love with and pamper!

“So greatful for Melissa's help taking care of my cat Luna. At the time of my trip, Luna was recovering from a wound that needed special care. Melissa was not only able to manage her care and monitor progress, but also somehow managed to get my extremely shy cat to warm up to her, despite all the meds and special care routine. When I got back Luna was in tip-top shape and a lot less mad at me for leaving than she usually is. Melissa will definitely be my first call next time I need to travel.”

“Beyond kind to both me and my kitty! Always on time, very attentive, and sent great updates and photos! Took the time to interact and play with my cat and always responded quick! Highly recommend!”

“Sierra was responsive, friendly and arrived on time for each of 3 walks we booked. She took good care of our senior dog, sent pictures and was in good communication. Much appreciated!”

“Hello, Thanks again for taking care of our four-legged family! They were not only alive, but seemed way less stressed than on previous trips to the vet for overnight stays. If you're available, we will certainly look to book you again. Aside- The door was locked, but we didn't see the top lock key on the keychain. Please let us know if you left it separately or need to drop it off. Thanks and take care!”

About: Cats are my personal favorite! I have had a Russian blue, a black cat and, currently, a tuxedo cat. I really enjoy connecting with cats, earning their trust and building a relationship with them. I love to spend time with cats, whether it's kitty snuggles or just being in the same room, I cherish every second I get to spend with my cat buddies.
About: Hi, I’m Kaitlynn – your pet’s new best friend! I’ve grown up with animals and currently care for two of my own, so I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can trust. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs extra playtime, a shy rescue that needs patience, or a senior pet with special care needs — I meet them where they’re at, with love and consistency. I just moved to Oregon from Nevada and am currently settling in and building a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time and availability to focus on pet care. I’m not tied to a full-time job right now, so your pets will get lots of attention, walks, cuddles, and updates throughout the day. Whether you need someone reliable for daily drop-ins, long walks, or overnight care, I’m here and fully present for your pets. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your animals with someone — and I don’t take that lightly. Your pets — and your home — treated with care and respect. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, I understand I’m being trusted with something deeply personal. I approach every visit with respect, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I follow your instructions closely, keep doors locked, double-check gates, and make sure your pets stick to their routine so they feel safe and secure.

About: I've cared for cats for the past two years and definitely have come to learn everything about them. I want to provide the ultimate comfort, stress free zone while you are away. I will keep to their usual feeding times, play habits, and quiet hours as closely as I can, so the routine feels familiar even though I may be new to them. Your precious kitty will have loads of fun and top tier care :)

About: Cats are my true love. (Don’t tell the dogs). I have had cats growing up, as well as taken care of friends and family’s fur baby’s many many times. I have my own cat, he’s part maincoon, his name is Miso. He’s leash trained and happy as can be.

“We could not have been more pleased with Janelle’s care for our pets and home. She was very patient with chatterbox Edith and scaredy cat Rose. We will not hesitate to call her again the next time we travel. 5 stars are not enough!”

“Shauna was the best cat sitter we have ever had! She is great with cats! She has five cats herself, so she is attuned to their needs and has a nuanced, living experience with making sure they are cared for as much as possible. She was very astute at perceiving our cat's need for engagement and played with her consistently when we were gone. Most importantly, she made sure our cat felt loved and cared for when we were away. This quality is very difficult to define, but became apparent immediately after she started writing her Rover cards! She went way above and beyond what was required to care for Zoe. I would recommend her to anyone with a social pet needing meaningful engagement with people when you are out of town. We will definitely remember her for any time we are on travel in the future!”

“Rachael was awesome with keeping me updated when she dropped in to visit my cats! Even though my cats were super shy she took the time to try to play with them and get them to socialize (even though they were not into it at all). She really cares about animals and is super sweet! Will definitely book again”

“Our experience with Rebecca was excellent, and our pups experience, too! We were so happy to have updates and pictures throughout the day as it was our first time leaving him and we were a bit nervous. He was so well cared for while we were gone, came home happy and tired, and even got sent the rest of his chew stick home! We will definitely be back without hesitation.”

“Makenzie was responsive, easy to work with, and kind to my dog. Her dog Mochi is a well behaved playmate and my pup came back happy and tired after getting long walks and lots of playtime in the yard.”

“Loki had a nice relaxed time hanging out with Laura for the day while we were out and about seeing some sights around Hood River. Got a couple of fun pics of Loki throughout her stay, and Laura helped her feel like part of the family while there. Thanks, Laura, for taking such good care of my little old lady!”

“Melba stayed here while we went to a show at the Edgefield Amphitheater. Gary and Carol had no problem with our late pick up, and they sent updates and pictures. Everything was easy and smooth. We wouldn't hesitate to have Gary and Carol dogsit again if we come back to this area!”

“Shasta and her family are very loving and caring, we truly trust her completely. Our dog Gus gets so excited about having a stay it make leaving him a boy easier knowing he just runs right into the house out of excitement!”

“Tracy and her family took great care of my big guy! Plenty of attention and play time in the backyard, and good communication throughout. No reservations about having her watch him again.”

About: I have two dogs ages 5 & 6, I trained both of them when they were puppies. Brewer and goose love other dogs but can also be kept separate if needed. I’ve taken care of family pets since I was young and enjoy playing with animals. I currently home full time with my two children. We pop out for go to classes in the evening but are usually home Monday -Friday. We live in 6 acres of fenced in yard. Lots of room to play and throw ball. We do have an older cat that keeps to herself. Would prefer a dog that doesn’t want to chase cats.
“From the beginning, very responsive and helpful! They were able to handle my high anxiety dog and didn’t get annoyed by the overly long explanation I had about his dogality. Followed up with pictures and updates and my dogs had a blast! Highly recommend Cass and Trevor for dog sitting.”

“Willow goes the extra mile & takes wonderful care of my dogs. Super grateful I found her for daycare while I work my long shifts. She is fast to respond & will send photos whenever.”

“María is the sweetest soul! she did such a wonderful job caring for my puppy Bones. he came back wagging his tail & ready to go to bed! she got all his energy out! Bones struggles with very very bad separation anxiety, & maría reassured me from the start that he was in good hands & would not be left alone. which has been a struggle in the past with previous sitters. Bones can also have some behaviors like jumping on people or the counter tops, & she did amazing setting that boundary with him not allowing him to hustle her & get away with being a menace! María kept me updated and sent me pictures quite often which i really appreciated! She made Bones & I feel comfortable & confident with our decision to go with her. she is so lovely & i would recommend her to anyone who may be worried leaving there pup w someone they don’t know! María is great!”

About: Responsible dog dad and uncle in Hood River. Overnights, daycare and walks, everyone goes home happy. Had family dogs my whole life, and watched others for friends. I work from home and set my own schedule. I'm always in the same area as the dogs. I take frequent breaks and take several walks per day. I have a 60'x30' yard with a large lawn, and a very secure fence. Indoors the dogs have access to my office and kitchen, and the family room when I'm in it. I have one small friendly dog.
About: I am an experienced pet owner, with a lifelong love of all animals: especially dogs. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your fur-babies, and I have a lot of experience with a wide range of ages, needs and puppy personalities. I am an avid runner and naturist and love taking dogs on the myriad trails and walks surrounding our area. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and play time if they want it, or could be a total lounge and snuggle-bug in the calm indoors. I'm happy to tailor my care to your dog's needs and routine. I am happy to keep you updated on how your pet's stay is going, ready to send those glamor shots your way. I'm also adept at getting even the most stubborn of pups to take their medications without fuss. We can't wait to meet you and your four-legged bestie! I work from home and my wife has weekends, holidays and Summers off. Between us, we have a lot of time, energy and snuggles to devote to your pup. Our dogs thrive on a set routine for feeding, potty breaks and outdoor adventures, so your friend will be in good company. We have two lovable hounds that enjoy making new friends and we have a secure, fenced yard. My schedule allows for frequent check-ins or stays at your place, should you prefer house-sitting.
“Charlene has been hands-down, the BEST dog sitter we’ve ever had. The amount of love, care, fun, and exercise she gave our dog, Ginkgo, was truly exceptional. I’m someone who loves pictures and updates, and Charlene provided beautiful pictures and updates without prompting during Ginkgo’s 4 day stay. He got to go on runs, long hikes, and even got a pup cup with her daughter. He came home each day absolutely exhausted, which was amazing for my husband after working long days. We are so grateful we found Charlene!”

“Anastasia allowed me to relax with my husband for a day without needing to meet all of Remy's needs. This was our first stay with Anastasia, but she offered a Meet and Greet initially that put my mind at ease with regard to her family of pets, the conditions of her yard, and her willingness to answer my questions and needs. She did a great job safeguarding Remy during his day's stay, she sent me photos and an update on how he was settling in, which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely re-book Anastasia for Remy's pet-sitting needs in the future.”

“Jared was an excellent sitter! Both my Papillons seemed to have a great time with Jared, Bartholomew, and their cats. Communication was smooth and timely throughout. I would be happy to bring my furry babies to Jared again. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life - growing up with cats and dogs instilled a deep love for animals that eventually led me to professional pet sitting in 2017. I spent five years as a trusted sitter in Portland, OR and nearly three years living in Bali, where I continued caring for animals and fostering strays in need. Pet and house sitting allows me to combine my nomadic lifestyle with my passion for animal care. I get to provide excellent care for your pets while staying connected to the fur babies I’ve always had in my life. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for weekday and weekend sits. I’m active and love taking dogs on hikes and adventures, and I’m equally happy spending quality time with cats who prefer cozy companionship. I’m highly organized and responsible. I’ll follow your care instructions to the letter, whether that’s administering medication, maintaining routines, or honoring your pet’s unique personality and needs. I work remotely with an extremely flexible schedule, which means I can be home with pets throughout the day. I’m not tied to an office or rigid hours. I structure my work around the animals I’m caring for, not the other way around. This makes it easy to accommodate morning walks, midday play sessions, feeding times, medications, or just keeping them company while I work. Whether your pet needs multiple daily walks or prefers a consistent routine with lots of companionship, my schedule allows me to provide exactly what they need. My approach is simple: I treat your home like my own and aim to leave it better than I found it. I take this responsibility seriously. Whether that’s keeping things tidy, watering plants, bringing in mail, or just making sure everything runs smoothly while you’re away. With your pets, my goal is to create stability and build trust. I stick to their routines, respect their boundaries, and give them the consistency they need to feel safe and cared for. Whether they’re anxious about you being gone or they adapt easily, I’m there to make sure they feel loved and secure until you’re back.
About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.
About: See my $20 Off QR Code in my photos! I love being around animals and have been around them my whole life. I grew up in generations of animal & nature-lovers. It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. I’m happiest and genuinely feel most at-ease with animals. It’s important for me they feel comfortable with and around me. I know that much like human children, routine is very important to pets. If you need me to check in on them, feed /water them, potty breaks/short walks/close-by parks/play toss-the-ball, hug/cuddle/companion-time or stay at your home I am available to help. I develop unique connections to each animal I’m around and grateful to be around each one. Whatever a pet-owner needs me to do to help make their pet’s day better, I’m up for the challenge. Animals make my day, daily! Whether it be my friend’s dogs & cats or the Brahma bull that is up the road, I try to see an animal each day. I do have experience with animals that have high-anxiety, special needs and abusive backgrounds. I currently have a few tears in my meniscus which is preventing me to do rigorous walks. I will be scheduling surgery soon but that does not prevent me from tossing a ball around for a dog. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s)! I am looking to assist with in-home day/night(s) stays, drop-in visits and walks. I’m available anytime and look forward to meeting you & your pet(s)! Although I do have a wonderful, small fenced-in yard, I live in an 800 sq ft home therefore, I think it's best to go where the pet is most-comfortable (their own home).

About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!
About: Hello! My name is MaKenzie, I am 24 years old and I grew up around dogs my entire life so this is not something that is new to me! I have been watching animals since I was 16, and have always loved it. I have watched all different kinds of animals from pigs and chicken all the way to bunnies and reptiles. I live in a house with a great yard (unfenced) with my dog Mochi. My dog is a female Doberman who LOVES to play. Mochi is extremely energetic so we do play and walk a lot. If your dog is similar, and as energetic as Mochi, then this would be a great spot for them! I’m currently running dog/cat sitting as a full time business, so I have all the time in the world. I also work part time for another company with hours around 11am-1pm. Whenever dogs visit they get free roam of the house along with my pup! Dogs do remain on leashes when going outside as I don’t have a fence. Dogs are not allowed unattended outside at all.

About: I recently moved to the Gorge from Asheville, NC, and I am so excited to meet you and your pups! My deep love for animals began at a very young age. Growing up, I was surrounded by pets of all shapes and sizes -from dogs and cats to farm animals, reptiles, and birds. That lifelong passion led me into a rewarding career in animal care. I have been a full-time professional dog groomer and daycare/boarding specialist for the past 20 years. I also have experience at a veterinary emergency center. In my free time, I would volunteer to walk shelter dogs. I understand that every dog is unique. Over two decades, I have developed extensive experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I specialize in a slow, patient approach for nervous or shy dogs who need extra reassurance, and I am highly experienced in administering necessary medications. I treat every pet like family. My very first dog, an Airedale mix, lived to be 16 and a half years old. She had a long, beautiful life that I attribute to deep love, care, and proper attention. I bring that same standard of love and dedication to every animal I meet. I look forward to meeting you! I am currently a stay at home mom and we enjoy walking and hiking every day! Your pet will be included in everything! I understand some dogs enjoy lazy days too and I’m happy to accommodate that as well. I usually begin my morning with a walk and end it with one before bed. I am available to stay at your home or mine. I base this by whatever will make your pet feel the most comfortable. I have a friendly dog named Gator who misses playing with dogs while I worked at the grooming salon so bad, so I’m sure he’d be excited to join! We love going to the Bingen point “ dog park,”walking around the neighborhood near Daubenspeck park, Catherine creek, North Western, b.z falls, and the klickitat trail!

I am pretty active and love to go on hikes and runs. I am a super outdoorsy person but can also be a couch potato. Although I don’t have a yard, I live in a super pet friendly neighborhood. About: I've taken care of animals of almost every kind for most of my life, both professionally as a Veterinary Technician for more than 15+ years as well as personally with my own pets, which I've had all my life. I truly love animals and have dedicated my life to helping and caring for them and even plan on attending Vet School. I have fostered countless animals, both dogs and cats, as well as more than 35 bottle-fed kittens. I have experience with just about every kind of pet and even those that are senior or those with special requirements such as medications, special diets, and subcutaneous fluid and physical therapy. I have a great deal of experience with animal behavior and have worked with many difficult and even aggressive animals. I currently work on a full-time basis, so I will have plenty of time throughout the week and weekends to dedicate to caring for the most precious members of your family! I have done quite a bit of pet sitting work so I am very familiar with this experience. I am extremely respectful when I'm in my client's home and I remain conscious of the fact that it's your pet's home too and I'm respectful of their space as well. I strive to ensure that your pet continues to feel safe and cared for when I'm in their home. I perpetuate a quiet, calming presence which most animals respond to positively. I will do everything in my power to ensure your pet's wellbeing and happiness, while still accomplishing everything that has been asked of me by my client. I will care for your fur babies as if they were my own!

About: With over 15+ years working with animals, I understand how hard it is to be away from your pets — and how much they mean to you. That’s why getting to know each dog’s individual needs is the first thing I focus on, before anything else. Every dog communicates differently, has different comfort levels, and settles in their own way, and I take the time to learn that instead of assuming one routine fits all. I currently have my own fur ball - a Samoyed — daily grooming, sensitivities to food, and plenty of agility work to keep her fulfilled as a working breed. Caring for her has taught me just how much a dog’s happiness depends on meeting their specific physical and mental needs, not just the basics. Having owned dogs of all sizes over the years, from small to medium breeds, I’ve learned that a high-energy working dog needs something completely different from a laid-back senior — and I adjust my care accordingly, whether that means extra playtime, a quieter pace, or sticking closely to a special diet or routine. My husband and I both work from home, so your dog becomes part of the household, not just a guest. I love the outdoors, so there’s always room for a walk or an adventure with a furry friend by my side. Since I work from home, pet care isn’t squeezed into a rushed morning or evening — it’s woven throughout my day. I take breaks to check in, play, and go for walks, so dogs get consistent attention rather than long stretches alone. Feeding times, walks, and rest periods stay on a steady schedule, and I’m always nearby to notice if something seems off. It also means I can stick closely to a specific routine or diet your dog is used to, without any guesswork Dogs need more than just love and attention — they need real stimulation, both physical and mental. A tired body isn’t the same as a fulfilled mind, and every dog’s needs look different, so I treat that as part of their care, not an afterthought. There are no kennels here — dogs have free roam inside my home, plenty of space to relax and play, and constant updates so you always know how they’re doing
About: I have always been a pet sitter, even from a young age. I am trustworthy, communicative and will treat your pet like my own. I know how scary it is to leave your pet alone with a new person and I'd love to be the person that treats your fur baby exactly how you prefer. I am a Cincinnati transplant who just moved to Portland. I am currently working part time, and I would love to spend my free time hanging out with your animals. My schedule is very flexible and I'm more than happy to work with you to help meet your needs! My pets have always meant the world to me. I enjoy nothing more than spending as much time with my cat as possible, your animal is no different. I have 15+ years of experience caring for folk's animals while they're away or at work. I will do my very best to keep you updated with pictures and videos of your pet, as well as communicate any questions/comments and concerns right away.

“I've had Steve watch my 1 year old dog twice now and can't say enough good things about him! He is a multi-dog sitter who has been wonderful with large dog packs. Steve sends pictures and videos when ever I ask for a check in. He has been flexible with pick up and drop off. He asks all the right questions up front. Steve is my go-to sitter from now on.
