I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

About: I was Blessed with a Tortoiseshell cat for 15 years named Penelope Rose. Pets truly help us through the hardest times of our lives and we help them in return. They do find us, for sure. She was developed cat asthma (rare) and medication was not helping her so I put her down and that was my last pet years ago. I grew up having a grey Siamese cat. Both cats followed me everywhere. About: Throughout my life I’ve had 2 dogs, 7 cats, and I currently live with 3 cats. I don’t have a preference between cats and dogs, I love them equally! I live on a farm that is fully fenced around the entire property, there is an option to have your pet(s) meet some other pets on the property and play during the day, but I also am fully prepped for keeping the dogs separate from each other for any reason if needed. I will NEVER have anyone other than myself inside your home or on the property, and I will clean up after myself as well as have the home clean when you get back. I do allow dogs on furniture at my home but will not allow it if needed.
About: I’ve worked in Veterinary medicine for 16+ years which includes Kennel/Veterinary Assistant in a general practice ,Emergency Veterinary Medicine for almost 6 years now. I moved from Maine in the summer of 2024. I’ve had on and off experience over many years of pet sitting mostly for my veterinary co workers pets in their homes (multiple cats, multiple dogs and sometimes a combination of both). It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. About: I'm a dependable and hard worker who's had dogs and cats my whole life, and have been pet/house sitting off and on since I was an early teenager. I love taking dogs for runs or walks with me and getting the chance to exercise them, or just playing with them in the house. “After just moving to Oregon, I was put in a pinch. Had to travel back east for a funeral. I don't know anyone here yet and needed a dog sitter. Back to ROVER I went. That's when I found Amanda. On short notice she invited us over for a meet and greet. I always get worried when I have to leave da pooch behind. She's like my child. Amanda was warm and welcoming. She greeted us with a smile. After a short time, I knew she was the sitter for us. I was only gone for 4 days. The communication was great. She sent pics on a daily to give me the comfort knowing my Pooch was doing OK, and most of all HAPPY 😊. I have to travel again next month, and have already reached back out.
