About: I always jump at the opportunity to pet, play, cuddle with any dog but I am also a former dog mom of 10 years which means I have experience doing all of the things a dog parent does: grooming, trimming nails, feeding, walking/hiking, training (potty/walks/kennel/sit, stay, etc.), cleaning up doggy messes, socializing, administering medicine, establishing a schedule, etc. I am very active so I can keep up with your dog's energy and can also be their cuddle buddy when they're tired! In addition, I have experience caring for anywhere from 1-7 dogs at a time ranging from puppy to senior and chihuahua to husky so I understand that each dog is unique and will need care adjusted to their needs and personality. My availability is flexible and dependent on your location and the amount of days you're looking for! I'm an educator, however, I'm taking a break from full time teaching to pursue my passion of permaculture. My schedule is much more flexible now and I'd like to spend my extra time with some furry friends! I'm a very tidy and clean person so I would be sure to follow any routines you have set in place as well as clean up after myself and your pet. I am comfortable kenneling your pet or letting them roam, whatever's your preference!
“Due to no fault of his own, we learned through this experience that apparently my kitties would rather bond with females. Yet, Amir pulled through, going far and beyond to find that bond. He, on his own, bought toys and treats, trying to coax them out of their shells. He searched our house through and through trying to find our one kitty, who insisted on hiding the entire time he was in our home. If, and when, you are in a situation where you have to leave your animals in the hands of another - for us, this meant traveling of state and really needing someone we could trust to be our best replacements - Amir is your guy! About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

About: I'm a dependable and hard worker who's had dogs and cats my whole life, and have been pet/house sitting off and on since I was an early teenager. About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats.
