About: I have had dogs my entire life and love to spend time/care for them! I love walking and being outside which is the perfect combo for a happy dog. I am flexible with what your pet needs, and am comfortable with giving oral or IM medications, special needs, and generally any dog. I have experience working as a vet receptionist as well as a vet assistant for both large and small animal. I have spent much of my life with horses, dogs and even some variety of small exotic animals. I am knowledgeable about basic dog body language and training making it easy for me to handle most canines! I live in a dog friendly house with indoor areas for dogs to play, including a VERY large fully fenced back yard. About: I have been around dogs and cats since before I could walk! I started pet sitting for my neighbors when I was a kid and have spent most of my life helping out my friends and family with their pets. I am a huge animal lover and also very active! I often pet sit for my friends and love to take their dogs on walks and runs. I live in Albany with my cat, Bill, and work from home a lot so I have lots of availability and would love some more dog time in my life! I work from home four days a week (wednesday’s i am in office) so i have a lot of availability to spend time with your dog! I am also an active runner and walker, so I can get your pup outside and get out energy if that’s what they need, or we can cuddle up inside and play or hang out :) I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with lots of grassy areas and walking paths around. I do have a cat, he gets along well with dogs, but your pup would need to be okay with cats! I have a very gentle approach to dogs and respecting their boundaries is so important to me. Depending on what you prefer for your dog, they are free to roam my apartment and be on furniture, unless you prefer them not to be! I have some experience training so if you’re in the middle of building habits, i will adhere to those practices :)

I currently work part time, Tuesday through Friday. So I will have plenty of time to check in on, take on walks/ to parks and just play with your animals. I can also bring my puppy along for other dogs if you would like so they have someone to play with or just learn to be around other dogs! I can either take care of your pet in your home or in mine if needed. I do have a fenced yard and a puppy of my own. Who is friendly with other dogs and can play/ keep your dog company if you would like. I know how crates work and am willing to learn the routine you have for your animal. (Food/crate/sleeping habits).

About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small for 8 years. I have some experience training puppies and adult dogs as well. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, over all take great care of their furry friends for weeks before. I have always had a love for furbabies, I always volunteered at the rescue shelters as much as I could.
