Crystal stayed in contact with me throughout Dallas stay which was about 1 week. She sent updates and even pics and videos too! Our minds were at ease knowing Dallas was well taken care of. I would highly recommend this family for any boarding needs. They are super sweet and truly care for pets!”

We are confident Cinder was treated well and received the attention required. Hope she will take him again the next time we are unable to take him with us. ~Brian & Bobbi”

About: I have been taking care of animals all my life, and pet-sitting professionally for over 10 years now. I am particularly experienced and confident in caring for senior animals, pets needing medication, and those who are particularly shy or need that extra emotional consideration. You'll notice me take the extra time to get to know your pet and the nuances of their personality and needs. I offer animals the slowness and presence needed for deep listening and attunement: two qualities that help build trust. I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and good at communication. I'm used to planning my schedule and time around the needs of the animals I'm caring for, and am always ready to apply my extensive knowledge for unexpected situations that may arise. Some of my recent clients include a rowdy pack of 5 dogs of various size and breed, a senior cat with hyperthyroidism who switches her food preferences daily, a blind and deaf senior dog who loves to play, and a farm sanctuary with over 20 animals, including pigs rescued from a neglect situation and feral cats being socialized for the first time. If your animal needs a bit more time and care to feel comfortable around someone new, takes medication or is navigating ongoing health conditions, or is at higher likelihood of needing veterinarian intervention while you're away, these are situations where I have both experience and confidence. For me, animal care isn't just about completing all the tasks that need to be done for the well-being of our animal family members. It's about creating a relationship of trust with the animals relying on me, as well as their human guardians. Entrusting your beloved pet to another person, as well as opening your home to them, is something you deserve to feel secure and confident in. And your pet deserves to feel truly cared for, understood, and prioritized while you're away. With my years of experience both personally and professionally, and my special skills for medical and emotional complexity, I know I can provide a pet-care experience where trust flows in all directions. Pet-care is my main job (and joy) which I orient the rest of my living schedule around. I have lots of flexibility to form my schedule around your animal's needs. My most commonly booked form of pet-sitting is overnight care in the pet's home. This can put the pets at ease and lets them maintain their usual routines. I have lots of experience doing overnights, and am a clean, considerate, and respectful house guest, to the recommendation of all of my clients (happy to give references). I also offer visits / drop-ins throughout the day, and am consistent and timely in these visits.

About: I have a lot of personal experience caring for cats and truly understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I have 3 cats of my own and 1 cat back home with my parents, so I am very familiar with feeding routines, litter care, playtime, grooming, and giving cats the space or attention they need. I know how to administer medication when needed, and I am comfortable deep cleaning litter boxes and keeping their space fresh and clean. I have a calm, patient energy, which helps me connect with shy, anxious, playful, or independent cats. I love cats and will always care for them with gentleness, respect, and attention to detail.
About: I’ve grown up with pets of all sizes and am not afraid to try new things. I strive to provide the best care possible for you and your pets. I currently work a full time job Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM in Salem but may be able to flex my hours if needed! I have weekends off and major holidays off as well. I currently have two guinea pigs that I provide constant care, enrichment and love for. I’m very serious about cleanliness and the safety of pets and those around the pets as well.

About: Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and I have extensive knowledge of feline care, behavior, and overall well-being. I have experience caring for cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats requiring extra patience and attention. I understand the importance of respecting each cat’s unique personality and providing a calm, safe, and stress-free environment. In addition to my experience with cats, I have cared for a variety of animals and am committed to treating every pet with the same love they deserve.
“Makana was able to book a last minute request and fit in a meet and greet which was really appreciated. She did a great job of keeping me updated and sending pictures. I could tell that my pup was having a good time!”

About: I’ve owned a cat, from kitten to adult. I’ve been around cats my whole life. I know they are all different and can sometimes come with very specific needs - like mashing and flicking up food to fresh kibble only! I can assist in grooming for friendly kitties and can scoop the poop every day.
About: Hi, my name is Stella & I love dogs! I recently adopted a pup named Winnie - she is a big lovable goof with a sweet personality, who loves to play, and equally loves to chill and sleep. She gets along well with other dogs, so long as they don't exhibit aggressive behavior toward her. *****If I am considered for a house sitting job, please take note that Winnie would *maybe* need to join (or perhaps if you have a low-key pet, I could hop back and forth between caring for Winnie at my home and caring for your pet at your home). My husband does help with house sitting jobs though, so it is possible that Winnie wouldn't absolutely need to join but it would be ideal if that was an option. I love all breeds, large and small alike. Each dog has their own personality and I adjust my service based on what your dog needs. Cuddles, play time, belly rubs or space? Whatever works for me! I provide the best care and will give your dog all the love and attention he or she wants. *I have much experience dog sitting/walking - 15 years! I have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs (and everywhere in between). I look forward to meeting your best friend(s). (: I take my dog on walks 2-3x per day, or replace one of these walks with a trip to the dog park (if it's nice outside!). I can only dog sit at your home as my dog is an ESA and the only dog allowed on my property. When dropping in or house-sitting, I love to take dogs to the park, on trails, or just a walk around the neighborhood! I adjust my care giving based on what you/your dog prefer - if you'd rather me play fetch or tug-of-war in home rather than going outside, that's perfectly fine too! I will let your dog outside to go to the bathroom as needed but I know every dogs abilities and preferences are different.

About: I have experience taking care of outdoor cats and indoor. I appreciate the spirit of the cat, and am accommodating to each of their unique personalities. I am a very observant and responsible person, and understand the importance of these qualities in a sitter.

About: As a lifelong animal lover and current cat owner of two wonderful cats, I understand how important it is to know your pets are receiving excellent care while you're away. I have years of experience caring for my own cats as well as watching and caring for other people's cats. My experience includes feeding special diets, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, monitoring health and behavior, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level. Whether your cat is social and playful or shy and reserved, I take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is always to reduce stress, maintain routines, and provide the same level of care and attention I would want for my own pets.
“Felecia did a fantastic job watching not only our 2 cats, but our home! She fed the fish and also brought in packages that were on our porch. She went above and beyond! When we returned home the cats looked healthy, well fed, and very well cared for. Thank you Felecia for a great job, we appreciate you so much!”

“It was my first time leaving my 2 cats. Cats were fed separately, played with and taken care of. When I came home the house was in as good as shape as when I left it. Instructions were followed (and I had lots of instructions!). My cats were both clearly very happy. Jill was responsive and communicative of both good news and problems. Jill was really flexible: we were able to come to an arrangement that didn't fit nicely into the Rover app's scheduling. I would trust Jill to take care of my cats again, and I would recommend her to others as well.”

About: What does your cat need? Food? I know I'm little more than opposable thumbs that know where the kibble and treats live. Play? I'm fully prepared to run around with a string and congratulate the kitty on catching me. Meds? Swaddle. No matter what is needed, I will read the cat's behavior to respect their boundaries. I pet them only when invited to do so by the cat. Hissing can be waited out or skirted around. I have no desire to make a cat's day worse.
“Wow! Great experience. Henry Took the extra time to take Charlie for a walk… Took pictures for me and gave me an update when he left. The whole experience was very reassuring. Charlie also seemed more at ease when I got home… Having Henry visit with him definitely made a difference. We will absolutely be Booking Henry again.”

“We had to be away from home from 3:30 am until 7:30 pm and Hannah gratefully came by our house a few times to day to feed and visit with Shasta as well as take her for a walk. I'm so grateful Hannah could do this for Shasta and us. Hannah is wonderful!”

“Plain and simple, Madison was nothing less than a pure blessing caring for my puppy Sailor. She didn’t simply care for her, she made her part of her family. Finding Madison (Maddy) to care for my pup was an answered prayer. I cannot sing her praise enough! 5++++++++ stars!!”

“Joe (he much prefers “Joe”) clearly showed our two furkids a great time! New friends to play with, a comfy chair for their snooze breaks, plus plenty of fenced yard to enjoy. Good with sending updates and great with giving them their meds. All of this in a lovely, quiet forest setting. Eight paws up for Joe’s care! We’ll be back. 🐾”

“Tracy did a great job taking care of our anxious dog, Jake. She has plans in place to keep dogs separated if need be, and seems very experienced handling all sorts of behaviors. We really appreciate her depth of experience, quick response time, and flexibility.”

“Catrina is terrific! Our dogs had a very good time with her, and she sent us updates and photos, and it was great to see them out and about. We highly recommend Catrina.”

About: I have had the wonderful responsibility of taking care of animals ever since I was little, starting with a Jack Russel named Jess that my parents got for me and my siblings when I was eight. Growing up with her helped me to learn the responsibilities of love and care that come with owning a dog. Since then me and my wife’s pet family has grown to include a gentle golden retriever mix rescue, a loyal and playful Jack Russel, and a cuddly (albeit very talkative) one eyed Pug. I am unemployed right now due to injury, which has allowed me the pleasure of an open weekday schedule to make pet care my top priority. All of my pets have grown up in an extremely loving and caring environment and they actively reciprocate that back to me. I hope to provide your pets with that same love, trust, and attention that I am fortunate enough to provide my own pets with.
“I was nervous like a parent dropping their kid off for the first day of kindergarten. My dog hasn't had much separation from me in her seven years and it was her first time at doggy daycare. She had a blast!!I got a bunch of pictures videos and status reports that made nervous dad feel wonderful. She was worn out and slept with a big contented smile on her face!”

“Super friendly, loving and responsible doggy daycare for our 1- year old Berner! Ruby loved playing with the other dogs. She comes home content and happy. She will definitely want to come back to visit Valerie and her daughter Sara.”

About: I’ve been in love with cats & dogs for as long as I can remember. In my home we always had 2 dogs and 2 cats. I cared for four family friends’ dogs in California the last couple of years. I love taking dogs on walks, and play time and cuddles with cats too. I have a mini poodle and a cat at the moment, they are best friends :) I am an RN but I am not working at the moment, so I spend a lot of time at home, so message me and we can see if what you need works out❤️ I will gladly send you pictures and video updates of your dog. I am also happy to play with them using their favorite toys! I am a nurse and I live with my husband who is a doctor (he also adores dogs). I am readily available to provide walks and companionship to your beloved pet on my days off. I would only dog sit your dog if I was not going to work, since when I do work in the hospital I’m gone all day and would not want to leave them for that long. So, on my days off and I dog sit and give them all the attention! I live in a 800 sq ft apartment overlooking a large park which offers an ideal space for playtime. I also live near a beautiful pond great for walking and exploring. I prefer dogs that will not sleep on my bed, but I’m ok with them going on the sofa.
“Diane was really conscientious about introducing the dogs and how my senior girl would acclimate and I really appreciated that as Lucy is not used to day care. She was flexible about time, has a nice big back yard and a calm demeanor. We will stay again if back in the area!”

“Sabrina is amazing!! You don’t even have to second guess your decision. Our dogs adapted instantly and played all day and we received many photos of how happy they were and they just made my day! We will be booking again and again ?”

About: I am a huge animal person! Since 13 growing up, I was the go-to girl for dog sitting in the neighborhood. This gives me a wide array of experience. I have lived with many dogs too. My family adopted a senior dog so I learned at a young age what older dogs need and enjoy. I’ve lived with younger dogs from mutts to hyper golden retriever puppies who need a steady active routine. I’m capable of providing it because my love of dogs is clear. I enjoy being outside and love being active with dogs however it all depends on the dog’s needs. No matter what, when you’re in need of a super sitter, i’ll be the rock for you and your pup(s)! I offer any services that you require, though I recently lost my car to a not-at-fault accident so assistance with bringing your babies to me is much appreciated. Currently open schedule - waiting to begin a PT job. I can do brisk morning walks and long afternoon/evening walks daily if needed to get that energy spent 😊 and I'm available everyday especially on holidays. I can have dogs over! My dog loves friends. I’m happy to walk your dog(s) around various parks in the area. How I care for your dog/your home is completely up to you. I have open services and can care in any way you need.

“Howser thoroughly enjoyed his time with Angie and her pups! It's so comforting to know he gets to be with a true dog lover when I need to be away from him.”

About: All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve worked hard to help dogs and owners alike understand eachother better - communication often needs no words. I specialize in “project pups”, socialization and reactivity. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. I’ve worked in a rescue as an adoption coordinator and had the extreme pleasure of helping people and pooches find their forever spaces together. Along with rescuing over a dozen dogs of my own over the years & nursing several back to health from horrific conditions. Dogs are my passion - simple as that. Nothing makes me happier than helping a dog & owner relationship thrive. I am a stay at home mom, my boys are 2 & 3 years old. They’ve been raised around dogs & already have learned a healthy respect for their space. I am hyper vigilant & always err on the extreme side of caution for everyone’s safety - especially when it comes to those tricky resources. Other than weekly appointments on Mondays - we have a very flexible and open schedule. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 foot - reinforced wood fencing. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.
About: I had a sweet little cat for 15 years starting in childhood and she was my hearts home. I have limited experience with caring for dogs on a day to day basis but have walked and played with friends and family’s dogs and would love the privilege of walking new furry friends. I work close to full time during the week but have ample time for walks and quality time with your furry loves on the weekends. I must come to you and your dog because someone in my household does not like dogs but I will follow your instructions to the letter and make sure your doggo has a great time with me.

About: Hi! I’m Jaedyn, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for all kinds of pets. Growing up, my family fostered over 10 dogs over the years, which gave me experience with different breeds, temperaments, and care needs from an early age. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and time outside while their owners are away. I focus on making pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep a close eye on pets during walks or playtime, and pay attention to their behavior and body language. My goal is to make sure they feel calm, cared for, and happy while their owner is away.

About: Animal care has been a part of my whole life. I've always had a pet, whether they were cats or dogs. No matter the size, age, or breed of the pet, I understand to respect their boundaries and be mindful of their safety. Spoiling and playing with pets is the easiest task on the planet. I'm a part-time college instructor. My hours are extremely flexible, so I can happily take a break from grading to pop in for a pet. I first and foremost will defer to the owner's instructions and requests. For pop in care, I will check basic needs first: food/water/litter box/potty breaks. Then comes socializing or any other request from the owner. Weather permitting, I like to take dogs out for fetch, chase, tug-a-war, or casual walks. What we do is sometimes determined by the breed of dog. For cats, I understand that play is up to them. I'm happy to engage in any way they prefer. My own cat is a fiend for a string.
About: Owner of a Siberian husky for over a decade. Have trained her since she was a puppy. She is now a senior and requires minimal walks compared to when she was young. She gets along with cats really well and is around farm animals frequently. Working 40 hours a week while managing pet care is essential, I am able to work around my schedule as fit for the animal's needs. Please inform me if any needs are requested to make sure everything, like fresh water, is taken care of. I offer care at the clients home, which I have experience in. I am usually in the same room as my pets, so I will often be in the same area with your pet while they are under supervision. Please inform me at least a day in advance for booking.
About: I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and breads since I was five years old. My neighbors and friends trust me to take impeccable care for their pets. I am currently in college and I work part-time three days a week. Although, I have quite a bit of free time and in that time I usually like to workout or try new things. Occasionally my family and I go to bend on the weekends. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a property that Is not heavily populated by cars on the road. I also have three varying sized crates as well as two dogs. My dogs are let out every 1-2 hours. One of my dogs is crated when I am not home and my other dog does not have to be crated. In my clients home, I will care for their pets like my client would normally and I will ensure that their home is left clean.
About: • Veterinary student • Fear Free • *pending BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification coming 05/16* • • Transparent, reliable, and attentive care backed by extensive clinical experience • I’m Jennifer, a 2nd yr veterinary student at Oregon State University with an interest in small animal medicine and feline-centered care. I have 10+ years of hands-on experience working with (primarily) dogs and cats in both shelter and clinical environments. I began volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society, where I provided daily care and enrichment for incoming and resident animals. I later worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal general practice clinic for 4–5 years, gaining extensive experience with patient handling, client communication, and medical care in a fast-paced setting, while completing a bachelors in pre-veterinary medicine and a wildlife management certificate. To supplement my extensive academic training, I have pursued Fear Free Certification and Cat Friendly Veterinary Practitioner certification to better understand how to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in animals in the shelter and clinic environment. I carry those principles into every visit, prioritizing calm, low-stress care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and personality. In addition, I am fully bonded and insured, and I maintain independent professional coverage beyond Rover platform protections. Currently, I am progressing on completing the BLS/ALS CPR certification through the RECOVER Initiative (the evidence-based standard used in veterinary medicine) and I will officially have that achievement met on May 16th! Additionally, I am continuing to expand my Fear Free certification in the coming weeks to include a higher tier of canine/feline care and a broader range of species in general. I am comfortable administering medications through a variety of routes and have experience caring for multiple species, including dogs, cats, and backyard poultry such as chickens and turkeys. While the majority of my experience is within the small animal realm, I have additional experience with a variety of species. Providing these services are an extension of my training and long-term career in veterinary medicine. I strive to provide thoughtful, consistent care so you can feel confident that your pet is in capable hands. One of my goals is to maintain your pet’s routine, while also monitoring for subtle changes in behavior or health while you’re away. I am currently transitioning into a full-time veterinary assistant role in a clinic in Eugene, OR, but I will do my best to accommodate any services in my time outside of the clinic. Thank you for sticking around to learn about me. I’d love to meet your fur kids! I am currently a 2nd year veterinary student that has needed to take a medical deferral for a year. I plan to return to OSU CCVM to finish my doctorate degree, during the Winter 2027 term. During the month of May '26, I expect to be transitioning into a veterinary clinic job in Eugene, OR. I will do my best to accommodate all requests in the meantime and I will be transparent about any scheduling conflicts. I am hoping to spend the next year focusing on my health, continuing my veterinary learning at a pace that suits my current needs, spending time with my cats and my partner, and exploring OR. I will reliably provide updates on the status of your pets and provide immediate reports if I notice anything abnormal or medically concerning during our visit. I am always available to be contacted if there are any concerns during the services or leading up to the services. In my time off from veterinary school, I plan to pursue BLS/ALS RECOVER CPR certification in Portland, OR in mid May. Fingers crossed that I am able to find a class with space but I will update my profile once I have official certification shortly! How cool to have a legit medical professional as a pet/house sitter while you're away! 😎 On top of being an approved Rover sitter/covered by the Rover guarantee, I have additional insurance coverage and am bonded through an external company to simply give myself and your family peace of mind while you're away!

“Joseph has a beautiful home with a large fenced yard and my dog came home all worn out. He was very good at sending pictures and communicating throughout. He graciously accomodated an extra day. I would take my dog to Joseph’s again!”

“Connie was wonderful with our kitty Expresso. It was a worry free experience. She kept me updated with pictures and text messages. I would definitely use her again for my cat sitting needs. Highly recommend!”

“Just want to share our wonderful experience with Joel & Crystal. We are new to Rover and we were terrified to have to leave our 2 year old boxer puppy. Crystal stayed in contact with me throughout Dallas stay which was about 1 week. She sent updates and even pics and videos too! Our minds were at ease knowing Dallas was well taken care of. I would highly recommend this family for any boarding needs. They are super sweet and truly care for pets!”

“Tracy made us feel very comfortable during the meet and greet as well as the time away from Cinder. The picture and quick notes were much appreciated. We are confident Cinder was treated well and received the attention required. Hope she will take him again the next time we are unable to take him with us. ~Brian & Bobbi”

“This was my first time using Rover or boarding my dog, so I was quite nervous. Miriam is great! My dog loved her and it is obvious she cares greatly about dogs. She communicates quickly and is easy to work with. Next time I go out of town, I will book my dog with Miriam!”

“My dog had so much fun with Shelby. He has a lot of energy and she managed to tire him out every day. She communicated well and sent lots of great pictures. We got delayed on our way back and she held on to him for longer than planned. I will definitely book with her in the future when I have the need.”

“Juno was well cared for and happy when I picked him up after staying with Erin. Great communication and daily photos. I would definitely book with Erin again.”

“Sabrina was amazing! She sent tons of cute pictures. I have never seen Chance worn out before…he’s my energizer bunny! He slept so good the night we picked him up and he obviously had a great time playing with his new friends. I don’t think he even noticed that we were gone! I will definitely use Sabrina again!”

“Mason was very friendly and responsive! She took good care of our sweet girl Ziggy for a few days. I know Ziggy had alot of fun hanging out and playing with the other dogs, she came home happy and relaxed! 😊”

“We had Ying watch our kitty cat, Mr. Ribs, for a week while we were away. He was a fantastic cat sitter. He sent tons of pictures and videos and kept us updated with his sleeping and eating habits. Ying played with Mr. Ribs and kept him entertained. This was comforting for us as the little guy loves people, so leaving him alone or isolated was not an option. Ying was a great companion for the kitty, and we will definitely use him in the future.”

“This was Cashew's his first time without me and he's two! He's a blond and white 11 pound Pomeranian So it was kind of a big deal especially for me to leave him with a new person for 2 nights and three days. Teresa set up a play date for him one day which he loved . I found Cashew happy and calm when I returned. Teresa is very calm, very attentive and loving. Also she reliable and trustworthy. Cashew stayed at her place but Ill be giving her a key to my home in the future. She supplied him with plenty of play and walks. She will be my first choice when I need a sitter. Julie V.”

“Wonderful experience with Alexis. Excellent communication. She took awesome care of Cooper. I was gone for a week. She sent pictures and updates. He was very happy and I never worried about him. Her love of pets is genuine.”
