About: Hello! I'm Mattea and I'm 24 years old. I've grown up with dogs of various breeds including Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Bully mixes, and Olde English Bulldogge Pitbull mixes. These are just dogs I've owned (or currently do, I have 3 bully mixes and a lab x rottie mix between me and my family) I've worked with various other breeds since I was basically old enough to be able to, including breeds from small to large sizes. (Such as Toy Poodles, Jack Russell Terriors, Komondors/Hungarian Sheepdogs, English Setters, Chihuahua mixes, Australian Shepherds, Dachshunds, Great Danes, and more!) I've been told by people I'm kind of an animal whisper. I also have grown up with cats and currently have three! I've dog sat a 120lb Labrador, who was quite moody, starting when I was age 10. Along with a pitbull mix sibling he had then with strict restrictions on their interactions. I've also worked with dog reactive dogs, and very skittish dogs. I also enjoy grooming and have brushed a Samoyed who I was told usually didn't like getting brushed, but she was perfect for me and even laid and fell asleep while just letting me brush her. Overall I just love animals of all kinds and would love to be able to work with them! I currently have a decently open schedule to be able to walk and pet sit dogs and cats. I would love to take on several pups to walk or pet sit. I am happy to follow any guidelines the owner has with drop-ins to allow their dogs or cats to feel the most comfortable and satisfied with their care. I will not be taking any clients who are wanting boarding. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats, so just not an ideal situation to bring in a boarding pet.

“We hired Gloria to take care of our cat, BJ, for a month. Because we were going to be away longer than she could stay, we had to hire someone else to cat-sit at the end of Gloria's stay. As this person had never cat-sat for us before, Gloria went above and beyond expectations by training the new caregiver and allowing the new caregiver to contact her if she had questions. I like rover because it’s an easy side hustle and I love dogs AND cats I have work in clatskanie from 7-5:30 M-F and on Saturday I work 7-3. I can be available before and after those times. I would love to take on several pups to walk or pet sit. I am happy to follow any guidelines the owner has with drop-ins to allow their dogs or cats to feel the most comfortable and satisfied with their care. I will not be taking any clients who are wanting boarding. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats, so just not an ideal situation to bring in a boarding pet.
About: I have had pets all my life; dogs, cats and many others as well! I am a lover of all pets and I am well versed in caring for them as well! I have owned and raised all ages of dogs and cats since I was young, so I am very comfortable with all ages, sizes, and species! I am an incoming college student currently on summer break with early morning practices so the entire rest of my days are primarily open and free to help take care of your furry friends! Daily, I have my own animals to take care of, but I am here to help and offer some assistance in making sure your pets are safe and getting all the care you want them to have. I am very respectful of the safety precautions and environment that you would want for your pets, I find it very important to understand and uniquely cater to the needs of your furry, scaley, or feathery friends. Just like us all pets are different and I will happily take on the responsibility to carefully and safely watch over, take care of, and play with your beloved pets. I would love to hear any specific instructions or suggestions for your pets so I can ensure I am providing all that they need, I can use my own knowledge, but ultimately you know your loved ones best!

I am home every weekend as well as holidays and love animals so this is a perfect fit! I do have the whole summer off as well! All pets are welcome but I do require that they be friendly if they are staying overnight at my home because I have dogs of my own! About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats ever since I was very little and I have always loved taking care of them. I live at home with my parents and I have lots of experience watching our two dogs and cat for weeks at a time while they are traveling. (Note: neither my parents, or pets will be anywhere near your pets, as they are going to be in a separate part of the house. The house also has a huge backyard, sitting on over an acre with tall fences. I also keep plenty of toys on hand so you can be sure your pets are getting the love and care they deserve. I currently work from home and have a very flexible. schedule all throughout the weekdays and weekends so your pets will be cared for during their entire stay. I also do not leave our own pets unattended for more than a couple hours so the same can be expected for yours as well. Pets can expect over an acre of enclosed backyard, so plenty of room to run around and play as needed. Bathroom breaks will be given at least once every 1.5 hours - 2 hours and will be supervised the entire time as is standard with our own pups. We also have a cat and two small dogs in the house, but they will be upstairs and away from your pets during the visit.
