About: We have been caring for our pets, as well as for friends and family for a collective of approximately 45 years. We are familiar with administering medications, senior needs, as well as pets with certain medical issues such as seizures. We treat each guest as a family member and they are given the freedom to roam all around the house and spend time with us on or off the furniture. We are retired. We have been caring for our Beloved Dexter for the passed 13.5 years until his passing in February 2026. We find it difficult to find good pet care in our area, and wanted to provide this service to our community now that we no longer have Dexter. We have the love, the time and the safe environment to give to you and your pet-Whether Cats or Dogs. We do not have a fenced yard. However, we never needed a fence as we always took Dexter out when he needed to go. (On Leash) So doing this for your pet is no problem for us, and its gets all of us off of the couch and moving. Win win. In our home, well, your pet will be free to roam all around, sleep in his bed, or ours, and make him or herself at home.

About: Experience with feeding, bathing, and cleaning dogs/cats, dog walking and pet/house sitting experience, contributed to training a service dog, and walking puppies. I also have experience with rodents/other animals. I am currently working full-time during the week, but am available on weekends (Fri-Sun) and during Oregon Spring Break for full-time pet sitting or drop-ins. About: No issues or problems giving cats ranging from senior to kitten medicine offering playtime as well as affection time. Adhere to specific cats tailored care schedule. Cats are the best and with my own I currently have a strict schedule of scooping the boxes three times daily also as needed with clean water always! Food schedules are very specific to each animal, which I acknowledge.

“Joseph and Renee were awesome. They picked up and dropped off our sweet girl so we could enjoy our trip to the aquarium. Their services are greatly appreciated and worth the price I paid. They were early for pick up and drop off and loved our dog like she the was their own. I even got a couple update pictures that we enjoyed very much! Will definatrly be using them again and definately recommend if you need a couple hours dog free to enjoy newport attractions that are not dog inclusive.”

I have also volunteered at animal shelters for a number of years, taking care of everything from feral kittens to special needs and elderly dogs. I am very responsible, clean, organized, and would love to make your time away from home as stress free as possible by knowing that your loved ones are well taken care of! I promise to treat your pets like they are my own, sending updates as often as you’d like. If you leave detailed care instructions, I will follow them to the T. I have reliable transportation and a flexible work schedule that allows for regular breaks (depends on location, to some extent)! Note: I offer 10% discounts for extended stays (> 6 days). I work a flexible schedule and can pop in and out as needed. Working from your place will also be an option at times and weekends/holidays are totally open. I wrote detailed instructions for my pet sitters and will be sure to follow yours. I’m used to giving meds and following complicated feeding directions.
