I have volunteered at local shelters and have watched the animals of my family and friends since I was about 10 years old. I treat each and every animal with the love, care, and respect that they deserve. I am very compassionate and take the time to tend to one’s animals as if they were my own. My rates are flexible depending on the animal(s), and the situation. I am able to flex my schedule around your needs! I work full time but I am able to work remotely if needed and can take breaks throughout the day if necessary. I often do not watch animals in my home due to my 5 fur babes. “Review is for cat boarding. That sounds like a sport but you get the idea - my cats stayed with Kaelin, who had generous availability on short term notice. 2 cats, 6 nights, 0 problems. Kaelin is an absolute gem. Pre-stay she held a call to learn the specific needs of my cats and throughout their stay she picked up on components of their personalities I didn't even think to share. One of my girls is considerably shyer than the other, but Kaelin made consistent and ultimately successful efforts to engage each cat in a manner comfortable for them. Her patience calmed my shyer cat and her energy and thoughtfulness invigorated my more excitable/curious cat - she picked up on beneficial ways to interact with each of them that could not have been covered alone by what I shared with her pre-stay. Kaelin is clearly someone who has a profound understanding of and deep appreciation for animals, and she takes seriously how much they mean to us, her customers. Kaelin paid incredible attention to detail, was able to tailor every aspect of their stay in ways beyond what I requested, and she provided consistent updates with photos and videos of the two, often focusing on activities she intuited that I would be wondering about (How is shy Summer utilizing the space and responding to interaction? How is playful Autumn being allowed to explore and see outside? etc.). Through the way she was engaging with my girls and seeing how they, in turn, responded to her, it is so clear that Kaelin approaches her work with immense passion and care. It put me at ease throughout my entire trip, and it was clearly an excellent experience for my girls as well. Cannot recommend highly enough, will absolutely be a return customer.”

About: I grew up with animals on a farm and have been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember, from having extra large dogs in the home to taking care of friends dog while they're on vacation etc.. I love doing treat inspired training as well as interacting and talking with the pups I'm very flexible and can take dogs of most demeanors. Trust your doggo will tell you what a good time they had when you see them! I currently work from home 5 days a week as an artist and spend a lot of the day taking care of my current dog Spirit. We spend a lot of the day outside playing in the 1/2 acre of fenced woods and do dog park trips to Medford every few days. I have a large house and fenced yard as well as 1-2 VERY friendly dogs here regularly. All dogs are allowed indoors and on furniture as we see them as friends here! Doggos are normally allowed to roam free indoors or out but i can also crate your dog if that's how they are trained. We do minimal treat inspired training with new dogs so everyone can learn the rules around the house!

About: I've taken care of different animals my entire life. Grew up with them in our family home. Our family has a soft spot for rescues. The newest member of our family was a ferral kitten who needed bottle feeding, because his mommy died before he was even eating solids. We have always talked to our animals like they were people. Each animal has a personality, and it doesn't take long to get to know them. I currently work flexible hours as a door dash delivery person. I have great availability most weeks. So the likely-hood of being available is pretty good. I am very attentive to my pets, spend a lot of time with them, and make sure they feel loved. Also very attentive to changes in character and food needs. This is something I bring to any petsitting experience, because I care about every animal's wellbeing.
About: I have done pet sitting for over 5 years which include boarding, housesitting and dog walking. I have also cared for cats, chickens, exotic birds and baby goats (bottle fed). I have cared for elderly pets, seizure pets and have no problem with giving medications. ****If you are requesting housesitting, I do have a small easy-going chill dog that likes to come with me if you are ok with that. He gets along with all dogs and cats alike. I do request that we have a meet and greet prior so as to ensure you are comfortable with me in your home and with your pets. I work remotely during the day. So I would be with your pet(s) for the majority of the day. They would only be left alone a few hours on occasion for errands/appointments and such. So they would get plenty of potty breaks, love and attention while you are away. I will care for you pet(s) per your instructions. While at my house they will be allowed on furniture and my bed for extra cuddle time. They will be given plenty of walks and playtime!
