They also sent so many nice updates that made it easy for my partner and I to enjoy our vacation. Also, when our dog was having trouble eating his meals they kindly found a solution after checking with us to make sure he got food. My dog Lila started going blind a year and a half ago. It’s hard to be separated from your animal. And bearable when literally see how much fun your dog is doing. I hope they will take care of Lila every time I go on a trip. About: My family has had dogs my entire life (as well as chickens, ferrets, and a cat!). I've helped train, care for, feed, groom, play with, and dog sit for my family and others, and I'm excited to meet some new furry friends in Eugene! I believe that my biggest strength as a pet sitter is my ability to match your dog's energy level. I love playing tug, fetch, and frisbee, but I'm also always down for a snuggle, backscratch, or bellyrub too. I also don't mind getting licked which has helped me make many furry friends over the years :) I am a student at the U of O, but my schedule is quite flexible. I am available for drop-in visits during the day as well as weeknights after 6pm and all weekend. I believe that building trust with a dog is crucial, so I am intentional about letting them approach me first, sniff me, and take however long they need to feel comfortable in my presence.

I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.

About: I’ve owned pets of all kinds my whole life. I’ve been trusted with taking care of my family and friends’ pets since I was twelve. One of my cats is older than me and has been with me my entire life, so I know very well how to take care of elderly and disabled animals, especially cats. I’ve also taken care of multiple very energetic dogs and I know how to handle their behavior. I’m very open to long play sessions or walks, but if a calm presence is what your pet needs, I am very good at providing that as well. I’m very adaptable. Whatever your pet needs, I am more than willing to do my best to give it. I’m a college student who is busy every afternoon but most mornings and almost every evening and night I am fully available for your pet. I’m completely free on the weekends as well. Understanding the signals pets use to communicate is one of the most important things to me. I value your pet’s safety and to me it is very important to know what they’re trying to say in times of crisis. I also am conscious of things in homes that may be harmful to pets, such as certain herbs, scents, or foods, and I go out of my way to ensure that pets do not make contact with anything that could be dangerous to them. About: I have had animals all my life and it truly adore them. They are big part of each and every one of our families, I have Care for animals throughout my whole life. I have 4 days off at this point but I am soon to retire then I'll spend most of my time with animals to care for them. I enjoy taking them to Parks playing with them walking them and bathing them. I can handle most petcare needs I can care for Pat's most any day of the week especially if I have an advance notice. About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. About: I worked as a veterinary technician for over 4 years and have lived with and cared for dogs my whole life. This means if your dog needs special medical home treatment (pills, SQ fluids, insulin injections, etc.) I am comfortable administering these, but I would most likely charge more for special needs pets. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for almost 20 years, but took a break while abroad in the Peace Corps. I have a masters degree in environmental science, and work from home in environmental communication. I love pets and will treat your dog or cat like my own. In my pet sitting career, I have also cared for every type of animal, from hand fed fish to chickens to fat tailed geckos, so if you have more than just dogs and cats, I'm glad to take care of the whole menagerie! I have worked with animals as young as 4 months old to as old as 18 years old and had to administer medication. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, and cows. I’m off work after 3:45 so your pet babies will have lots of attention! I also have summers off (June-August) and can be home with your pets all day! About: My family has had dogs my entire life (as well as chickens, ferrets, and a cat!). I've helped train, care for, feed, groom, play with, and dog sit for my family and others, and I'm excited to meet some new furry friends in Eugene! I believe that my biggest strength as a pet sitter is my ability to match your dog's energy level. I love playing tug, fetch, and frisbee, but I'm also always down for a snuggle, backscratch, or bellyrub too. I also don't mind getting licked which has helped me make many furry friends over the years :) I am a student at the U of O, but my schedule is quite flexible. I am available for drop-in visits during the day as well as weeknights after 6pm and all weekend. I believe that building trust with a dog is crucial, so I am intentional about letting them approach me first, sniff me, and take however long they need to feel comfortable in my presence.
