About: I've taken care of different breeds of dogs for the past 20+ years. All small, but can also care for large dogs as well! Very good at sticking to schedules, feeding, walking, etc. Have administered some medications. I am currently working full time. Work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. But am able to leave on lunch breaks to go and let pets out if needed. Preferably near my my workplace, but is negotiable. I prefer to do all of my bookings in the clients/pet parents homes. We currently have 5 pets: German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd mix, Husky mix, and 2 cats (see photo). I love getting creative with enrichment too: calming music, puzzle-style treats, or whatever helps a pet feel most at ease. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn what makes each one comfortable. My challenge is to be best friends by the end of the visit! I work a hybrid, mostly remote job, meaning your pet gets real company, not just quick check-ins. I'm flexible with routines and happy to work around walk times, feeding schedules, or whatever keeps their day feeling normal while you're away. (One note: I'll need WiFi access to work while I'm there.) I treat your home like I'd want mine treated; respecting boundaries, keeping things secure, and sticking closely to your pet's routine to keep their stress low. Happy to grab your mail, take out the trash, or handle any small tasks that keep your home running smoothly while you're away. I'm attentive to behavior changes and won't hesitate to reach out if something seems off. Your pet's safety and comfort come first, always.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have house-sat for friends and their pets since I was 14. I’m calm, caring, reliable, and passionate about making pets feel safe and loved. I currently have an open schedule, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, geckos, snakes, including FERRETS, and many more! I’ve been responsible for cats and dogs within my family since I was 13. I fed, changed litters, fetched, gave love and kisses. Snake, I was 12. I had a BOA snake. I always watched my mother feed the snake, loved to play with it, & gave it love. Many of my friends have lizards (even bearded ones), hamsters, rabbits, FARM animals (of course, followed by instructions), and many more!! And the ferret I rescued passed last year. I make friends with pets, even with aggressive ones. Easy to show no fear. Maybe I'll become a trainer one day. The home I’m staying at is not my home, but I can take care of your animals at yours, I love to play what they play. Dogs can fetch in the backyard or the dog park close by. I am a stay at home mom/dog mom so I would be available to give potty breaks, play with, and love on your dogs all day long! Your pup is welcome to hang out inside my home as much as they want, but I have a large fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs of my own to play with too! I can use a crate if needed/preferred.
