“We had a very important family trip come up and no one to leave our Papillon (Shilo) with. She had previously only stayed with friends and definitely no kennels. I was desperate to find a sitter which led me to the internet. I discovered Rover! It was there I found the perfect match for our baby! Valorie and Ryan were so welcoming, their home was beautiful and we were so relieved to meet them and introduce Shilo to them prior to booking her stay. “My dachshund, Xena, stayed with Laura while my family and I went to Colorado for eight days. I was nervous about leaving her, because I had never been away from her for so long. Laura was good to frequently text photos and let me know how Xena was getting along. Xena always looked relaxed and like she was having fun. When we came to pick her up, Xena seemed excited and happy to see us but not overly so. I think Laura and her little pug, Kevin, had become like a second family to Xena! About: When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, which sparked my love for animals. While I mainly worked with cats and dogs I don’t have a preference. I’m work from home 2 1/2 weeks a month. It can get a little boring, so I wanted some companionship. That is usually when I’ll be doing Rover. Working from home allows me to pay a lot of attention to whatever furry friend I have. I also enjoy long walks outside so I would spend a lot of time outdoors.

About: I worked at an animal shelter on both the shelter and clinic sides with cats and dogs, though I mainly focused on the cat room. I started out on the shelter side cleaning and doing adoptions and ended in the clinic on the surgical team so I've seen a bit of everything. I have two cats of my own and have had many foster cats. While I've never owned any dogs of my own, I've known plenty of people with them and most of them loved me and the rest at worst just ignored me. I currently work at Amazon and have a flex schedule, meaning I make my own schedule every week. I usually just work weekends since there's less traffic and almost never do a full 10 hour day. I can schedule weekdays if weekends are needed for pets though. I have a dedicated room just for other cats that aren't mine. Just got a new cat tree and covered bed for it and have various toys so they don't get overly bored. I can let them out to roam the house when I'm home if allowed.

About: I have 2 very sweet dogs of my own, Duke is 3 years old and then prince is almost 11 years old. I dog sit for many family and friends very often, i would love to meet your babies as well!! i have a big yard that your dog would love to play in and 2 dogs that wants to be their friend! I do very well with cleaning up any accidents from young fur babies! I also love senior dogs as i have one myself!! i’m currently in highschool, i’m free friday-sunday all day and monday-thursday after noon depending on the certain date, I have a very flexible schedule and can definitely work out something any day! I have a fenced yard and 2 fur babies of my own that would love to keep your baby company! We do not have any neighbors for your dogs will have a big yard to run and play in! About: I am currently on our 50th foster for local rescues, we have fostered puppies, seniors, and everything inbetween. We absolutely loves animals and they give us joy. About: I have had dogs since I was a little girl, I have 2 of my own and I treat them like my children. I love dogs with my whole heart and will care for them in every way! Your pets deserve more than just the basics ,I go the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable, entertained, and cared for, whether it’s a quick walk around the block or overnight sitting filled with snuggles and play! I work as a lash artist at a salon 10 minutes from my house, I have a few clients a week, other than that I’m at home with my other fur babies and would love to help out and meet some new fur babies!
