“Stasia was soooo amazing! I don’t know many people in town and was quite nervous about leaving my dog with just anyone but Stasia really put me at ease. She coordinated a meet and greet for us during which we introduced our dogs and did a walk through of the commons area of her house and the backyard. She and her dogs were welcoming and wonderful :) During Roo’s stay with Stasia, Stasia sent a plethora of pictures and updates which further helped relax my nerves! “My dachshund, Xena, stayed with Laura while my family and I went to Colorado for eight days. I was nervous about leaving her, because I had never been away from her for so long. Since I work from home, dogs are let out every three hours beginning at 7am until at 11pm so they can potty and run around. She updated me on how he was and what he was doing throughout the day! She filled down his nails to a good length and gave my boy a bed to sleep on in case he found it more comfortable. I am also a full-time caregiver to my autistic son when he is not in school. Because of this, I am already structured around being home and available when my family needs me. Providing pet care allows me to support other families while still being present for my children and maintaining a schedule that works around school hours and my caregiving responsibilities. About: I have been around dogs my whole life !! I currently have two dogs of my own as well. I do some dog training. Sit, stay, lay, shake, crate training, and potty training. I work full time however I get two breaks and only work Monday-Thursday. I work from 8-5 and take a break at 1130 and 2:30. I live in a house and have a closed in fence. I take my dogs for a walk or run every day and will play fetch or tug of war with them in the yard. The dogs get lots of outside time and my girls love having new friends to play with! A kennel is not required but I do ask if you have one to bring it. Since we have our own dogs and also board more than one dog we put them up in the kennel when going to sleep at night.

These animals have been my own as well as friend’s, family’s, and neighbor’s, as they knew I would tend to them with the utmost care. In my clients home: Check ins would include tending to anything outlined by the pet owner, and being sure to give the animal as much pets and playing as they would like. Overnight care would be the same as far as tending to the outlined instructions. Since it is overnight, if there is a certain nighttime routine it would be accomplished. Before I left I would also make sure I have picked up and cleaned up behind myself (ie. fluffing pillow cushions, throwing away trash, washing dishes, etc) In my home Care would be the same as listed above. I do not have a fenced in yard, however, there is plenty of walking space for them to enjoy being outside. I do have a yard if they just need to potty but not go on a long walk.
