About: Shhh - don't tell my pupper clients, but cats are my specialty! I'm highly experienced with cats. My own long-haired orange goober lived to almost 21, and I helped manage things like arthritis and megacolon along the way. I've got a soft spot for senior cats and all their quirks ♥ I'm comfortable giving meds and have a special place in my heart for older cats with extra needs. I love brushing, playing, and cuddle time, and no mess fazes me.
“This was a last-minute need for us and our first time using Rover. And we are very happy that we found Rover. I highly recommend using Anita to watch your puppies. She took the time to come over and meet us and our dogs. She showed up on time every day that we needed her and most importantly our dogs loved her. We are very attached to our dogs and we loved the fact that she would send us pictures after every visit. We will definitely be using rubber and Anita again if you’re looking for a good person to watch your dogs Anita is the one!”

About: -I have had and cared for animals my entire life - from dogs to cats to hamsters/guineapigs...you name it, I have cared for it. -My husband and I work from home so any animal who boards with us will receive 24/7 care, daily walks, and plenty of play time! -We have 2 medium/large dogs, Honey (8y/o) & Berny (2 y/o) [both spayed], so all animals that stay with us must be dog friendly. Our girls are very friendly and playful and would love to meet a new friend! -I am comfortable administering medications if needed. I am a remote employee that has an at home office setup, so most of my day consists of staying at home. We already do multiple walks a day with our own girls so your animal will get plenty of exercise and play time. I am available all days of the week when I am not traveling for work. We have a fully fenced, large backyard for potty breaks. We live in a quiet neighborhood, so walks are always low stimulation for the animals. I stand by the motto "treat them as your own"...I care very deeply for my animals and would treat your babies as if they were my own.

“Sean and his family were absolutely wonderful! From the start, they made my dog feel welcome and safe. He came back each day more comfortable, relaxed, and happy—by the end of the stay, he practically felt like part of their family. It meant so much to see how Sean took the time to truly understand his personality and needs. I’m incredibly grateful for the thoughtful care and attention they gave him. They were very thorough and communicated so easily and clearly. I got pictures and updates every day. Thank you, Sean, for making this such a positive and loving experience for my pup!”

“Clara helped take care of our 2 doodles while we were in town visiting relatives. We checked out of our airbNB and couldn’t leave our dogs at our in-laws while taking the kids out, so it was a last minute decision that ended up being super convenient!! Thanks so much for caring our fur babies!”

“Brett and Virginia watch our dog twice weekly and he loves it. We get lots of pictures and video updates and our dog comes home tired from playing so much. Great experience and highly recommend!”

I have a sitter for life!”

About: I've been caring for animals for nearly 20 years, both as a pet owner and by helping friends with their pets. My experience includes dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, giving me a strong understanding of the unique needs and personalities of different animals. We currently have three dogs of our own, so I know firsthand the importance of providing consistent care, exercise, companionship, and plenty of love. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company, I'm happy to tailor my care to their routine and personality. Please note: I do not accept Pit Bulls or bully breeds. This is for the personal safety and comfort of my family. As a homeschooling family, our daily schedule allows us to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, and lots of affection. We understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities, and because we're home throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention and consistent care rather than being left alone for long periods. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly pups of my own to keep your fur baby company while you're away. I also have crates available, if needed, for those that are crate trained.

About: I’m Emma! I have cared for and pet sat many different types of animals, from cats, (especially) and dogs, to goats and chickens. Growing up my family always had cats and a dog, so treating animals with respect and kindness is important to me, they deserve it. When I think about how I would want my pets to be cared for, I would expect only the best and same quality as how I would, you can expect the same standard of care I’d want for my own pets, whenever I take care of yours. I was taught about veterinary care for bigger dogs through an internship, so I have that experience if there are any medical needs for your dog. My job is to make sure they’re happy, safe, well, and cared for! I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am a college student who is in classes currently, I can typically do early mornings and late evenings, with short breaks mid afternoon. My Friday’s-Sunday's are typically free. I care for a cat and a dog of my families at home, and know their routine like the back of my hand. Along with feeding them and maintaining their water of course, I know how to brush, bathe and overall clean pets, know warning signs that they are injured (because cats always hide it really well) and also know how to keep them safe and healthy! I know other people’s routines with their pets may be different, but I am equipped, knowledgeable, and prepared to maintain your routine for your pets, whatever it looks like!
“Becca was a great find - we were in town for a wedding and needed a dog walker during the evening events. Becca was so kind taking time to see us for a meet and greet prior to our scheduled appointments. We were very comfortable leaving our pup with Becca.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own household pets such as dogs, cats, and birds since I was young. Later I worked at a vets office where I handled the boarding and care of a variety of pets, each with different needs and personalities. I also semi-consciously help to care for my families medical sensitive dog. I am currently enrolled in university with breaks throughout the day which would allow me to consistently check in multiple times. While most of my class happen Monday through Thursday, this allows me a full availability Friday through Sunday. I am well versed in caring for medically sensitive animals, having done so for many years. I am also experienced with large dogs as I have one of my own. I have experience with crating and corralling all sorts of pet sizes and personalities.
About: I have experience caring for many different types of animals and have been around pets my whole life. I previously worked in a pet store, where I helped care for animals daily and learned more about pet behavior and proper care. I was a part of canine 4H for two years with two different dogs. I’ve also pet sat for around six different families and have multiple references available. I’m comfortable with all types of dogs and cats! I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’ve recently moved to OKC from Texas, and I’m looking to earn money doing what I love most: being around animals. Aside from taking time for my own pets, I’d love to be able to visit other people’s fur babies. I am good with routines, so if you have a set routine you’d like me to follow, I will be glad to do so! Same goes for your rules of course! I like keeping things clean and neat so anything in your home that needs to be used I will be sure to put back how I found it and clean up any messes made. Your pets will get plenty of encouragement and love, I hate scolding unless absolutely needed of course. I have been around plenty of nervous and wary animals, so I know how to be gentle and careful with them! If I ever have any questions I will be sure to ask, I am reliable and have plenty of references to stand by me saying that! I’m very detail-oriented and will always have one eye on my pet in care.
About: I'm an animal lover through and through! I pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can catch what a pet's really telling me, whether that's stress, excitement, or just wanting some space. I love getting creative with enrichment too: calming music, puzzle-style treats, or whatever helps a pet feel most at ease. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn what makes each one comfortable. My challenge is to be best friends by the end of the visit! I work a hybrid, mostly remote job, meaning your pet gets real company, not just quick check-ins. I'm flexible with routines and happy to work around walk times, feeding schedules, or whatever keeps their day feeling normal while you're away. (One note: I'll need WiFi access to work while I'm there.) I treat your home like I'd want mine treated; respecting boundaries, keeping things secure, and sticking closely to your pet's routine to keep their stress low. Happy to grab your mail, take out the trash, or handle any small tasks that keep your home running smoothly while you're away. I'm attentive to behavior changes and won't hesitate to reach out if something seems off. Your pet's safety and comfort come first, always.

We have a decent fenced in yard for dogs to play and will walk them each day. I work full time but my hours are completely flexible. I have a young daughter who loves animals and will provide lots of love and playtime. I have a fenced in yard for playing and will send daily pictures and updates. I will need an up to date shot record and can supply our animals up to date records so that everyone is safe.

About: I’ve had years of experience with taking care of pets, including my own. I’ve also house and pet sit for my neighbors at times since I was in high school and I love to take care and make animals happy! I’m currently doing contract work at Life.Church especially on the weekends, local musician, and will be quitting another job soon. My availability is open anytime Monday-Saturday, I can also do a drop in visit for your pet even on days where I’m busy at church! Just work out a time and let me know when you need and we’ll work out a time that fits both of us and your pet! :) I have a Guinea pig that I take care of everyday, and 2 small dogs that my mom owns, and a bird. About: I’ve been caring for pets continuously since I was 8 years old — that’s over 50 years of hands-on experience. Growing up on a farm gave me a deep and lasting connection with animals from an early age. I learned responsibility, patience, and the importance of providing a safe, loving environment for every creature in my care. Over the years, I’ve also taken in many strays, giving them food, shelter, and the attention they desperately needed until they found their forever homes. This lifelong bond with animals has given me tremendous empathy for family pets and the people who love them. I understand how much your pet means to you and how important it is for them to feel secure, comfortable, and genuinely cared for when you’re away. Whether it’s a dog, cat, or another beloved companion, I treat every pet with the same kindness and respect I would want for my own. Today, my own dog serves as my daily assistant and constant companion. He keeps me active, grounded, and reminds me every day of the special relationship we share with our animals. This close, everyday connection helps me bring real understanding and patience to the pets I care for. I’ve cared for animals with many different personalities — from easygoing to more independent or strong-willed — and I always adapt my approach to meet their individual needs. Feeding, daily care, playtime, and health monitoring have all been part of my routine for decades. I’ve learned how to create consistent schedules, provide mental and physical enrichment, and make sure every pet feels like part of the family. My goal is always the same: to give your pet the same level of love, attention, and security they receive at home. Caring for pets is a natural and consistent part of my daily routine. I currently share my home with a dog and two cats, so I understand the importance of structure, attention, and love in keeping animals happy and healthy. I maintain a consistent feeding schedule for all my pets. Meals are served at the same times each day, which helps them feel secure and supports good digestion. I’m especially attentive to individual dietary needs — for example, my dog is currently on a carefully managed elimination diet, so I prepare and portion his meals with extra care while still keeping the cats on their own appropriate feeding routine. I also make sure my pets get plenty of activity and engagement throughout the day. My dog gets regular walks that give him both physical exercise and mental stimulation. With my two cats, I incorporate interactive play sessions using wand toys, laser pointers, and puzzle feeders to keep them active and mentally sharp. These daily activities help prevent boredom and strengthen the bond I share with each of them. Above all, I show kindness through positive reinforcement. I use praise, gentle encouragement, and rewards to build trust and confidence. Whether it’s rewarding my dog for calm behavior on walks or praising one of my cats for using their scratching post instead of the furniture, I focus on reinforcing good behavior in a loving, patient way. This approach helps pets feel safe and happy, and it’s the same method I use when caring for other people’s pets. Because I live this routine every day with my own dog and cats, I bring real, practical experience to every pet I care for on Rover. Safety and trust are the foundation of the care I provide. Whether I’m doing an overnight pet sitting stay, taking a dog for a walk, or doing a quick drop-in visit, I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own dog and two cats. My goal is always for your pet to feel secure, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Building Trust from the First Meeting I believe trust starts with a calm, respectful introduction. I take time to meet your pet on their terms — letting them approach me first, using a gentle voice, and allowing them to get comfortable at their own pace. I pay close attention to their body language and personality so I can adjust my approach to what makes them feel safe. Pet Sitting (Overnight or Extended Care) When staying in your home, I maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes consistent feeding times, regular potty breaks, and familiar play or rest periods. I keep doors, gates, and windows secure at all times and never leave your pet unsupervised in unfamiliar situations. I also provide daily updates with photos and notes so you can see your pet is happy and safe while you’re away. Pet Activity & Walks Safety is my top priority during walks and outdoor activities. I always use a secure leash and harness (or the equipment you prefer) and remain attentive to the environment — watching for other dogs, traffic, wildlife, or anything that could startle your pet. I adjust the pace and length of the walk to your pet’s energy level and fitness. For dogs who need extra structure, I use positive reinforcement to encourage calm, polite behavior on the leash. Drop-In Visits During drop-in visits, I focus on providing everything your pet needs in the time I’m there — fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, medication if required, and some quality interaction or playtime. I always double-check that your pet is secure before I leave (doors locked, pets in safe areas) and send you a visit report with photos so you know exactly how your pet is doing. General Safety Practices I Follow I carefully follow all of your instructions regarding food, medication, routines, and any special needs. I keep emergency vet information and your contact details easily accessible at all times. I monitor your pet closely for any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and will contact you immediately if anything seems off. I use positive reinforcement and patience to help even shy, anxious, or strong-willed pets feel relaxed and secure in my care. Because I live with pets every day, I understand how important these small details are. My experience has taught me that when pets feel safe and trusted, they’re happier — and their owners can relax knowing their beloved companions are in good hands.
About: As a teacher and coach, I bring reliability, patience, and strong communication to every pet-sitting experience. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, and I take the time to build trust with them. Having cared for a wide variety of animals throughout my life, I’m comfortable adapting to different routines, energy levels, and care needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away. As a teacher and coach, my schedule opens up significantly during the summer months. I am available for pet care around lunchtime and throughout the afternoon and early evening on most days. This allows me to provide reliable walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship during the times many pet owners are at work or away from home. I intentionally limit the number of pets I care for so I can give each one the attention and care they deserve. My priority is always providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines for feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and rest. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every home with respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. I am attentive during walks and outdoor time, ensuring pets remain safely leashed or within secure areas. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving owners confidence that their pets are in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of neighbors and friends animals during their trips, which includes cats, dogs, and even feeding their horses! Loving on your animals while you’re away or gone for work is what I love to do! I do not work outside of the home, and I have the availability and flexibility to help love on or take care of your pets basic needs while you’re away! I even love updating you with pictures or videos to help ease your mind! Being a mom myself, I understand that animals are also our children, and they need just as much love and attention as we would give to our own human kiddos. Being able to play with your pets and help run some energy out, or just showing up to make sure they don’t feel alone is my expertise!
About: Hello hello! My name is Kristyn and I am 30 years old. I am a dog lover and have a English cream golden retriever myself. I am located in OKC and work from home full time. I love going on long walks and have a fenced backyard as well for play time! I currently work from home. Periodically I will have property appointments that require me to leave the house for 30 minutes-1 hour but typically I am home. I have a fenced yard and live in a very walkable neighborhood. I have a 3 year old puppy who loves playing with other dogs and is very well mannered as I had him sent to training school for 2 months. I personally don’t crate my dog but am fine to do so if need be.

“Valeria and her family were great! They took care to make sure Merl got his medicine. Their home is spacious with a lovely big yard. I know Merl had a great time and we'll be back in the future!”

“Christy and her family had our pup for 2 weeks and he is no easy feat only being 7 months old but 50lbs. We felt so much better knowing he would be in good hands while we were gone. Our flight home was canceled and they kept him an extra night and even brought him home after we finally made it back. I would recommend them to everyone!”

“Henry and Stephanie were great sitters and communicators! They sent videos and pictures of mozzie daily. Mozzies terrified of storms, and they took care of him like one of their own during his panic attack. Mozzie came home a tired and happy dog!!”

“Kenwin was amazing! She provided consistent updates through the day and took my dog on walks. I truly recommend. As someone’s first time trying Rover, I was very worried but she made me very comfortable leaving my dog!”

“We absolutely love Leeann and her family! They always take the best care of our doodle gang! We have a standard goldendoodle, mini aussiedoodle, and maltipoo. The maltipoo is extremely needy and high maintenance. Leeann and family always make them all feel at home!”

“Outstanding communication and took great care of our dog for an impromptu overnight stay. Greatly appreciate Sean and his family taking our pet in on short notice.”

“Ariel was great and I will hope to use her for any future overnight dog sitting. She not only sent me pic & daily updates, as well as going the extra mile to help my old dog be more comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter.”

I am a stay at home mom/dog mom so I would be available to give potty breaks, play with, and love on your dogs all day long! “Rachel took extraordinary care of our 2 1/2 year old for his first night away from home, and we very much appreciate it. We wanted him to adjust to being away from home if necessary and she and her husband were especially kind and helpful to help him adjust with an overnight stay. He got to play with her two wonderful dogs in the back yard and could sit on the furniture, went on walks with her dogs, and came home happy! Thanks Rachel!”

“Dru has taken care of my two fur babies for 3 trips now, and she is incredibly responsive, accommodating, and friendly! She is great about taking daily pictures of them. It’s a pleasure working with her.”

“Danielle is amazing. Her home provides a calming space for any dog who walks through her front door. When I took my "kids" over for a meet-&-greet, they immediately felt right at home. Not only is she knowledgeable but she has an enormous amount of compassion. As an anxious pet mom, she provided me with updates and pictures which helped me tremendously. I cannot begin to describe how much it means to me that she gave my dogs a wonderful experience!”

“Easy to set up stay, communicate with, drop off, sent picture while Teddy was there and easy pick up. My dog enjoyed their dog and seemed really happy. Everything I left for stay was returned in good shape. Highly recommend.”
