I'm an out of state college student who has three larger dog breeds at home that I miss so much. And I’ve grown up around dogs all my life so making pups as happy as I can and taking care of them just come second nature for me! I recently have over 2 years of volunteering experience at a no-kill animal shelter called “City of Norman Animal Welfare” and I’m hoping to take my lived experience and activism with animals into a summer job. I've worked with dogs big and small and loved taken care of all of them equally. I've also been trained in Pet First Aid and am experienced administering medication. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup, their needs, and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs!! like to get down on their level to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together <3 Note: Might do cats in the future, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve grown allergic so Benadryl is a must. I am currently working an internship at a museum with very flexable hours for the summer giving me lots of time to play and walk your pups! With the internship I just need to work 12 hours a week but can come and go from the museum as I like and can take an hour off for lunch, work only 2 days a week, only work early mornings, it is truely amazing having such an independent schedule, which is why I thought dog sitting & walking would be a great idea. Would love to do boarding/doggy daycare, like I said in my bio, I miss my dogs at home so much so giving some weekend love to yours won’t be a problem. But I do live in an apartment and having any animal for longer than a week without having them registered with the building would be against my lease, so I cannot do super long sleepovers :( My entire apartment complex is fenced in but because theres other people they would be on a leash, but theres PLENTY of grass to go potty and frolic. We also have a large yard in the center of the apartment complex where they can run and stretch their legs off leash. While all dogs are outside on or off leash they will NEVER leave my sight regardless of have a history of running away or not. Love playing fetch with dogs and rewarding good behavoir with lots of treats. (Dietary concerns considered) I drive a toyota highlander SUV with plenty of space for transporting your pups and making sure they’re secure and totally safe. Just like watching your dogs transporting them should be done with the utmost care and I have a squeaky clean drivng record. I currently do not have a crate at my apartment, but dogs generally feel most comfortable in their own bedding especially in a new unfamilar environment, if you’d allow me to bring it from your home and return it with your pet. There’s plenty of space in the apartment, but I’d only sit about three large dogs at a time to allow plenty of playtime space or incase they get the zoomies. Dog beds or crates can be in the livingroom or my bedroom wherever your pet is most comfortable sleeping. I am also comfortable washing dogs after having multiple sessions with them to gauge temperment. A lot of dogs get anxious with baths and I am more then comfortable handling that and have multiple times in the past, but I do not need to put myself in harms way dealing with aggressive untrained dogs. Nonetheless I understand that for a lot of middle aged dog parents bathing dogs is tedious and can hurt your back, so I am happy to provide a clean pup for an additional tip! (Skin concerns considered with products used)

About: I've mostly been around cats but I recently got a puppy i don't want to stop petting him i love pets so much I've taught him to sit lay down and stay he does sit well 😍 I live with 4 adorable loving cats and 2 loving sweet puppies, I take care of them everyday easily I just want to pet them all the time Feeding, walking, attention ,love puppies need a lot of attention cats not so much but I don't want to stop petting my sweet fur babies
About: I grew up in the Hill Country of Texas, we always had animals. I grew up with dogs, horses, cattle, chickens, you name it I have most likely taken care of them. From bottle babies to senior animals. I used to foster cats, but I now have two dogs, one I have trained since she was a puppy and the other is a rescue who is very skittish. I’m not afraid of a challenge and will respect your animals boundaries. I’m currently available anytime, though weekends are a little busier for me, but we can definitely work something out based on your needs. I am flexible. If your dog is high energy and needs the extra walking time, or is more laid back and just wants to cuddle I am able to help fulfill those needs while you are away. I will treat them as if they were my own fur babies and adjust my interactions with them based on their personality and needs.
About: I have experience with pets from 5lbs up to 220lbs. I currently own a Great Dane a Belgian Shepherd and an Aussie/Siberian husky mix, so I’m pretty open to any breed or energy and of course can’t forget about our cat I also have experience giving medication if needed. I’m pretty open, this will pretty much be my side job along with my full time position. Obviously, if I’m not available on the requested days I will let you know beforehand. I do take same day appointments Since I will be offering the services in your home, I try to ask that appointments be made a couple days in advance if you would like for me to come and meet you and your pet just to ensure that everyone is comfortable and I’m not a stranger just walking into your house. I recently have over 2 years of volunteering experience at a no-kill animal shelter called “City of Norman Animal Welfare” and I’m hoping to take my lived experience and activism with animals into a summer job. I've worked with dogs big and small and loved taken care of all of them equally. I've also been trained in Pet First Aid and am experienced administering medication. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup, their needs, and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I am currently working an internship at a museum with very flexable hours for the summer giving me lots of time to play and walk your pups! With the internship I just need to work 12 hours a week but can come and go from the museum as I like and can take an hour off for lunch, work only 2 days a week, only work early mornings, it is truely amazing having such an independent schedule, which is why I thought dog sitting & walking would be a great idea. Would love to do boarding/doggy daycare, like I said in my bio, I miss my dogs at home so much so giving some weekend love to yours won’t be a problem. But I do live in an apartment and having any animal for longer than a week without having them registered with the building would be against my lease, so I cannot do super long sleepovers :( My entire apartment complex is fenced in but because theres other people they would be on a leash, but theres PLENTY of grass to go potty and frolic. We also have a large yard in the center of the apartment complex where they can run and stretch their legs off leash. While all dogs are outside on or off leash they will NEVER leave my sight regardless of have a history of running away or not. Love playing fetch with dogs and rewarding good behavoir with lots of treats. (Dietary concerns considered) I drive a toyota highlander SUV with plenty of space for transporting your pups and making sure they’re secure and totally safe. Just like watching your dogs transporting them should be done with the utmost care and I have a squeaky clean drivng record. I currently do not have a crate at my apartment, but dogs generally feel most comfortable in their own bedding especially in a new unfamilar environment, if you’d allow me to bring it from your home and return it with your pet. There’s plenty of space in the apartment, but I’d only sit about three large dogs at a time to allow plenty of playtime space or incase they get the zoomies. Dog beds or crates can be in the livingroom or my bedroom wherever your pet is most comfortable sleeping. I am also comfortable washing dogs after having multiple sessions with them to gauge temperment. A lot of dogs get anxious with baths and I am more then comfortable handling that and have multiple times in the past, but I do not need to put myself in harms way dealing with aggressive untrained dogs. Nonetheless I understand that for a lot of middle aged dog parents bathing dogs is tedious and can hurt your back, so I am happy to provide a clean pup for an additional tip! (Skin concerns considered with products used)
