“My dachshund, Xena, stayed with Laura while my family and I went to Colorado for eight days. I was nervous about leaving her, because I had never been away from her for so long. Laura was good to frequently text photos and let me know how Xena was getting along. Xena always looked relaxed and like she was having fun. When we came to pick her up, Xena seemed excited and happy to see us but not overly so. I think Laura and her little pug, Kevin, had become like a second family to Xena! About: Hi there! My name is Vickie and I have over 40 years in the Pet Industry. My pet career started in the pet department at Walmart (when they still had live pets). I have an Animal Science degree and was a Vet Tech for 9 years. I have experience as a vet clinic and boarding manager . I learned to groom through donating my time to grooming dogs in local rescue organizations. I soon realized that my passion was grooming and retired from the Veterinary field. I own a successful grooming business of 11 years and a dog collar and harness company. About: I am a life-long cat & dog lover and pet employee - at this point they really are the bosses. While my own dog is small (currently a Shih Tzu mom) I do love all sizes and breeds of dogs. I’m getting older, though, and would need visits in advance to trust myself with a very large dog. I moved to Tulsa a year ago and love the weather for dog walking and hope to take advantage of it with mine and yours! I currently work remotely from home so I have plenty of time 2-3 times a day for walking and pet care. On the rare occasion that a pet can board with me, they can enjoy lounging at my feet while I work. Because I live in an apartment I prefer drop bys for clients, although one at a time can stay with me and my dog provided prior meetings go well. But when I do drop bys I like to visit between 6-8 am for feeding, water, meds, playing, etc. I also return 5-8 pm for the same, and can do visits over lunch if requested and nearby. At my own home there are plenty of dog beds, treats, toys, and a rambunctious boy Ollie to play with.

I have also done a lot of dog-sitting for my friends who have dogs and cats, and usually their dogs and cats would love me and feel comfortable around me. I’ve also watched over my mom’s friend’s dogs a lot throughout my teenaged years, and they would always end up being just fine and happy! I’d play with them and give them the love and affection they deserve. I’m currently a graduated student from high school who is going to Tulsa Community College for musical theatre and acting after the summer ends, while I also do work a part time job at a restaurant. But I’ll definitely be free a lot to spend time with a dog and play with them and watch them, or even walk them! I always enjoy hanging around dogs and even getting the chance to spend time with one and make one happy. Never will it ever become a problem for me to watch over one at any days of the week. And if it does that will be a rare occasion, but it always important I’m given a week or 2 week notice! (Preferably 2 week notice) then I will definitely be more free. I take good care of my 4 cats in my home, by spending time with them, feeding them, playing with them, giving them love and affection, as well. I’ve also taken good care of my 2 dogs throughout most of my life before they passed away recently. I’d always play with them, make sure they stayed well fed, and I always spent a lot of time with them, making sure they’re fine. I would also dog-sit my friends’s dogs and my mom’s friend’s 2 dogs a lot as a teenager growing up, which I still sometimes do to this day. Even when not dog-sitting, at my friends’s house I’d always come off as friendly and nurturing to their cats and/or dogs a lot, and it would always work usually. But as long as the owners of the other cats or dogs tell me how they’re like and how they take to new people approaching them, I’ll be just fine and be fully capable of approaching them well.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life! Growing up, my parents always allowed us to have pets as long as we were responsible for them, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I genuinely love spending time with animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and happy to give pets the love and attention they need while their owners are away. Whether it’s playing, going for walks, giving lots of cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I’ll treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m currently a student at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, but I live in Tulsa. I’m in Tulsa every weekend from Thursday through Sunday and am also available on other evenings during the week depending on my class schedule. My schedule gives me flexibility to spend plenty of time with pets, and I’m happy to work with owners to find a schedule that works best for them and their pets! I’m very comfortable around all kinds of animals and always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care! I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention! I’ll also make sure to follow any specific instructions from the owner so their pet can stick to the routine they’re used to!
About: I've been a pet owner since I was a girl. Have always been good with animals. Just starting out professionally. However, your pet will be in good hands. I am a cat owner of a spoiled fat cat. Will be my main gig available 24/7 really. I don't sleep much, so I can pretty much always be on call. I am upbeat, loving person, who likes to laugh. And I will admit I love animals more than people. My kitty is chipped and indoor. He lol it's a chubby boy so I spoil him. I cant help it hes so cute. I can't deny a hungry animal. I trained him with my voice not even a spray bottle. Animals want to mind. I don't have a dog myself because I live in a small camper and I would want a big doggy lol
About: I used to have a senior Chihuahua and raised him since he was a puppy. I understand how a pet needs love and attention along with protection. I know what it’s like to not have time or anyone around to help out with pets, I hope to help create a safe and fun environment for your pets. 😊 I occasionally work overnights, otherwise I care for pets full time. I can provide the care needed as I am home all day. At night, my children and baysitter are home to be with one another and all the animals. There will always be someone home!:) Safety is a priority. Safety for pets and people, we have the space to care and room for comfort. There are places for pets to safely sleep if they don’t want to be around others too much. We have a fully fenced in yard as well as a safe neighborhood

I’ve work as a veterinarian assistant. All the animals I’ve watched love coming to my house & looking out from my front porch & enjoy watching the sun set & neighbors walking their dogs. A very friendly safe fenced-in environment. I’m always at home unless I am running an errand. I am a playful dog sitter & that will make my day loving your furry pet. About: I’ve walked, fed, and played with dogs for my family, friends, and neighbors for about 10 years. I have cared for dogs of all sizes! I am available on weekdays and some weekends! I currently do not have another job so I am free most of the time! I don’t mind doing last minute appointments as well! I can keep them safe inside my home and I can take them outside with collars and a leash on. I can also keep them in a crate if that is what you prefer!

“My dachshund, Xena, stayed with Laura while my family and I went to Colorado for eight days. I was nervous about leaving her, because I had never been away from her for so long. Laura was good to frequently text photos and let me know how Xena was getting along. Xena always looked relaxed and like she was having fun. When we came to pick her up, Xena seemed excited and happy to see us but not overly so. I think Laura and her little pug, Kevin, had become like a second family to Xena! I definitely plan on using Laura again and would highly recommend her home for boarding your dog!”

Rocky seemed to get along with her dogs and particularly loved playing with Oscar. There was plenty of room and he seemed to fit right in.
