I've also been through the puppy phase multiple times, and I've even been through multiple dog pregnancies with my current two doggy fur babies. If I take a job in the future, it'll be remote so I can still have flexibility in my schedule. I'm comfortable crating a pet if that's what you want (I've had a couple of dogs that were destructive as young pups so they had to be crated in their younger years). We are a dog loving family that live in a single family house with our very friendly Golden doodle girl. We live in a 1 acre lot so rest assure, your pups will have plenty of space to roam around I work from home so I get to spend all day with your dog; our daily routines vary between, playing at local dog parks, local trails or walking around our neighborhood. Once the kids get back from school they will play non-stop, snuggle and tend to all our guest dogs. Rest assured our home is a wonderful place to raise our puppy and care for other canine pals. Why we love dog sitting My wife and myself are both animal lovers and grew up with dogs. Most of our adult lives we either lived or cared for other people's pets. Thank you.* **We also ask for your dog to be housebroken before they can stay with us.** Usually we go for a long walk around the neighborhood in the morning and then go to one in the early evening. We usually let the dogs roam around the yard for a few hours but they are also welcome to stay indoors if they prefer. We have a one acre fenced in yard where your pupss are free to roam around. We leave in a gated community with a nice path along the lake where we take our daiily walks. I work from home and are constantly looking after the pups needs.

About: I've had dogs my entire life, large and small. Having no children, my dogs are my kids. Dogs are as smart as you teach them to be... I've taught all of my fur babies tricks and commands, friends and family are always impressed. I've just always had a knack with them. Dogs bring me so much joy and I have plenty of experience with puppies to elderly ones. I'm self employed and my workload varies daily. I'm looking to fill in some extra time on my hands by providing in house visits to let your dogs out, feed, and give some loves to them while you're busy at work or on vacation. In time, I may offer overnight boarding once I get to know your pets. For now, I just offer doggie daycare on days when I'm home all day, for only one family at a time with one or two dogs max. So you don't have to worry about your babies being around 10's of other dogs. I have two older mild mannered doggies about 45 and 60 ish pounds that are friendly with others. We have a very large fenced in backyard they enjoy running and playing in when the weather is nice. Our house is cozy with lots of doggie beds. We love getting outside, visiting local parks, and going to the beach often, so dogs who enjoy adventures will have plenty of opportunities to explore and stay active. My 4-year-old is used to being gentle and calm around dogs, so pets get steady attention without chaos or long periods alone. I am comfortable with dogs in all living spaces. And can do crate trained dogs as well. In a clients home I just try to recreate their daily routines with lots of love, attention and consistency.

With the internship I just need to work 12 hours a week but can come and go from the museum as I like and can take an hour off for lunch, work only 2 days a week, only work early mornings, it is truely amazing having such an independent schedule, which is why I thought dog sitting & walking would be a great idea. Would love to do boarding/doggy daycare, like I said in my bio, I miss my dogs at home so much so giving some weekend love to yours won’t be a problem. But I do live in an apartment and having any animal for longer than a week without having them registered with the building would be against my lease, so I cannot do super long sleepovers :( My entire apartment complex is fenced in but because theres other people they would be on a leash, but theres PLENTY of grass to go potty and frolic. We also have a large yard in the center of the apartment complex where they can run and stretch their legs off leash. While all dogs are outside on or off leash they will NEVER leave my sight regardless of have a history of running away or not. Love playing fetch with dogs and rewarding good behavoir with lots of treats. (Dietary concerns considered) I drive a toyota highlander SUV with plenty of space for transporting your pups and making sure they’re secure and totally safe. Just like watching your dogs transporting them should be done with the utmost care and I have a squeaky clean drivng record. I currently do not have a crate at my apartment, but dogs generally feel most comfortable in their own bedding especially in a new unfamilar environment, if you’d allow me to bring it from your home and return it with your pet. There’s plenty of space in the apartment, but I’d only sit about three large dogs at a time to allow plenty of playtime space or incase they get the zoomies. Dog beds or crates can be in the livingroom or my bedroom wherever your pet is most comfortable sleeping. I am also comfortable washing dogs after having multiple sessions with them to gauge temperment. A lot of dogs get anxious with baths and I am more then comfortable handling that and have multiple times in the past, but I do not need to put myself in harms way dealing with aggressive untrained dogs. Nonetheless I understand that for a lot of middle aged dog parents bathing dogs is tedious and can hurt your back, so I am happy to provide a clean pup for an additional tip! (Skin concerns considered with products used)

About: Hi, I’m Shelby!! I currently have 2 dogs (Rupert and Jasper), and 1 cat (Millard). I’m a middle school teacher married to a nurse, so we have pretty open availability!
