I am a stay at home mom so your pet will be tended to at all times, never being left alone for more than an hour. I have a large fenced backyard and plenty of love to give to your fur baby, with a family full of dog lovers, no kitties. My yard is kept up on all natural flea/tick treatment (wondercide) to assure your pet is safe from nasty critters. About: I grew up with small dogs mainly but i have 3 American bully’s, i trained my own dog Meleys, while she is not highly trained she knows the basics of sit, lay down and to pick up a toy when she gets too excited. So i have experience with both small and larger dogs. About: I have been involved in the Basenji breed for 30 years and am an AKC Breeder of Merit of Basenjis. My dogs show quite successfully in conformation and participate in lure coursing and barn hunt among other things. I have also worked in the the Vet Med profession for about as long as I've been involved in Basenjis. The majority of my career has been in Emergency and Critical Care- first as a Technician and later as a Practice Manger- but I also spent a number of years in Day Practice where I was not only a Technician but also the Kennel Manager in charge of overseeing the boarding facility. I feel all these experiences, plus my day-to-day care and management of 20 horses, make me an excellent choice when you're looking for a person to entrust your furry family member with. I have the background to be able to recognize and deal with a medical emergency should one arise, while at the same time having the knowledge of what it takes to keep dogs happy and healthy in a clean and enriched environment. Steadfast Farm is a working farm. We raise critically endangered Hackney Horses and Select Hackney Sport Horses. As such, I am home every day pretty much 24/7 other than running the occasional errands or two. Working on the farm allows me to be very hands on with my boarding clients- I offer pick-up and delivery for example- and allows for your pets to have plenty of structured, well managed play time throughout the day. A general day looks like this: 7-8am wake up! Your pet is taken outside for potty and a quick play before breakfast. 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm depending on the weather, your pet will either get to spend time in one of the play yards or can hang out in the house with me for some games and enrichment. 6-7pm dinner time and another potty break. 10-11pm Final play and potty break. I have multiple safely fenced yards. The majority of the fencing is 6' privacy fence and/or 6' no climb wire. Each yard has shade available as well as enrichment activities like swimming pools (weather permitting) and designated dig spots. There are also 2 smaller pens inside 2 of the yards for toy breeds and young puppies. These pens also have shade available and enrichment opportunities. The perimeter of the area surrounding the house and yards where the dogs are kept is also fenced with a combination of 6' chain link and 6' pipe and welded wire horse fencing. Inside the house, dogs are kept in size appropriate crates (or in playpens if they prefer) when they are not outside playing or loose in the house with me. Coming soon- I will be offering private cottages for dogs who will be more comfortable in a home like setting without other dogs. The cottages will be furnished with a dog bed and comfy chair and a TV for watching DogTV. The cottages will be temperature controlled and have a doggy door for access during the day to a private, covered outdoor run. I am a certified Games Based trainer as well so I can offer additional training for your dog while they are boarding. Concept training/Games Based training is science based, Positive Reinforcement training used by Veterinary Behaviorists, leading professional trainers, and international dog sport participants with outstanding results! Plus it's fun for you and your dog!! I also have extensive experience in isolation protocols and am very conscientious about cleaning and sanitizing yards and kennels throughout the day. With the current outbreak of an as yet unknown canine disease- this becomes hugely important. All dogs booking stays will be evaluated for risk of exposure prior to finalizing reservations as it is important to me all dogs remain healthy while staying at Steadfast Farm.

About: I have had dogs of my own all my life! I am just about the biggest dog lover out there. I am really good with dogs of all ages. About: i previously worked at a doggy daycare, so i have plenty of experience with all different breeds, sizes, and ages. I have an doggo and a cat of my own whom i love and adore. i have lots of hands on experience in training, whether it be basic, on leash, off leash, kennel, or potty even training. i'd love to work with you and your fur baby! most days i work my other job from 6am-2:30pm, so i am unavailable during those times. if i need to take your dog on an early morning walk before my shift, i am more than happy too. i am available all throughout the day after 2:30pm! I will most definitely coordinate with you to make sure that our schedules align, but my availability is fairly open! I am happy to take your doggo for a walk around your neighborhood and i do offer playtime outside as well!! if you dont have a backyard, i am happy to walk your doggo to the local park to play on an extended leash, with toys outside!!
About: I am a furever mom to my recently departed doggie, Archie. I have experience with dogs ranging from Great Dane, to my boy Archie (collie), and even medically complex miniatures. Growing up I also had cats and other exotics such as rats, mice, etc. I currently work full time, so my availability is more so after hours for drop ins and walks. Weekends are fully open as I’m a homebody. I just recently lost my fur baby, Archie, to cancer and crave the connection and comfort that animals bring. In my home, animals are allowed to make mistakes as they are just that, mistakes. Messes are cleaned up easily without yelling. I would ensure the same for your pet.
About: I grew up with small dogs mainly but i have 3 American bully’s, i trained my own dog Meleys, while she is not highly trained she knows the basics of sit, lay down and to pick up a toy when she gets too excited. So i have experience with both small and larger dogs. Im currently in my first year at college so i don’t get to spend as much time with my dogs but i spend my weekends at home curled up with my dogs. I play and walk my dogs everyday and i will with your pups too i will follow any instructions and extra care they may need in order to make everyone comfortable while they are in my care.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I have dog sat for family and friends from a young age as well. Is your fur baby on medication? No problem I am a pro at giving pups their medicine. I also enjoy teaching pups how to shake hands, sit and lay pretty, as well as turn circles for treats. When your pups are with my family and I, they will be loved as if they were apart of our own family. I work part time on Monday’s and Thursday’s leaving me away from my residence from 2:00-9:00pm. All other days during the week I am at home except for dropping off and picking up my child from school. Weekend’s I am usually home all day expect for 2 hours on Sunday when I attend church. I am available ongoing long-term care as well as occasional/one-time care. I have fenced backyard that is perfect for a pup to run and play in. I have one female German Shepard, she is friendly with other dogs and loves having a partner to run around with. In the home there will Ben myself, my husband, and our 3 children ages birth-9 to give extra love to your pup.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have three of my own—a big German Shepherd/Pit mix and two Westies—so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. One of my pups is a senior with diabetes, so I’m experienced with giving daily medication and paying close attention to routines and health needs. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Friends often rely on me to care for their dogs when they travel, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own pack. I love spending time playing, going on walks, and of course giving plenty of cuddles and attention. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pup is doing great. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I’m currently working part time from home so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups! There are a few times during the week I may have an hour long meeting but overall my schedule is very flexible to come take your dogs for walks or have play time! I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs who would love to play and cuddle with your pups! I’m also happy to crate my dogs or yours if needed and have an extra crate in my home! We love to stay out and lounge and play together and go outside when weather permits!

“We left our two dogs (Chihuahua & French Bulldog), with April, her family and her own dog this past weekend, and we couldn't be happier. We did a meet and greet ahead of the stay, and our boys explored and got to meet everyone. April provided a wonderful, welcoming environment. She communicated well throughout the weekend and sent some snaps, putting our minds at ease. April noted she paid special attention when the weather was warmer outside not to let our frenchie play outside too long. (Which is always a plus knowing someone is giving breed-specific attention with a frenchie) It’s clear they were well-cared for and entertained the entire stay. It’s such a relief to know our boys were in such good hands and had so much fun. We will definitely be booking with April again!”
