About: My mom has had dogs and other animals all her life. I have had a cat all my life and the last 5-6 years my mom and I have be one owners of several dogs and cats. Even have had several bunnies. We are both big animal lovers. I rode horses all my school years. We have friends and family that raised goats and chickens. Animals are in our blood! Currently I’m on disability and my mom became an amputee in 2024 and is retired now so our days are pretty much free to take care of pets anytime. We already had a few “friends” we took care of so thought we would make ourselves available. My mom’s brother (my uncle) and his son moved in with us last year and they are a big help with everything. Whether it’s getting to the door to let you in or helping feed, they love animals as much as we do! Your home will be treated with the utmost respect inside and out. Messes will be cleaned. Doors will be locked, gates will be secure. Plants and gardens will be watered as well if wanted.

About: I have grown up around both cats and dogs of all sizes and personalities. I was raised with German Shepherds, so I am very familiar with working and protection breeds and understand how to read their body language, respect boundaries, and build trust properly. I volunteer at the humane society where I work with a wide variety of dogs and cats, including high-energy, shy, and more reactive animals. This has helped me learn how to adapt to each pet’s needs and personality. I have experience caring for large dogs (100+ lbs), small breeds, puppies, senior dogs, and cats. I have also fostered a pit bull, which gave me experience managing higher-energy dogs that need structure, patience, and mental stimulation. I am comfortable administering medications, caring for pets after procedures like spay/neuter, and handling both playful and more reserved animals. I can check mornings briefly but afternoons and evenings I can spend more time!
