“Henry and Stephanie were great sitters and communicators! They sent videos and pictures of mozzie daily. Mozzies terrified of storms, and they took care of him like one of their own during his panic attack. Mozzie came home a tired and happy dog!!”

About: Between the two of us we have a lifetime of dog owning experience. I loved and cared for a Jack Russell terrier for my whole childhood and my husband was a great companion for a Rottweiler and Weimaraner. We are deeply familiar with both small, energetic pups and large playful dogs. We currently own and care for two labradoodles! Our weekends and evenings are completely dedicated to time with family and our dogs! During these times, your pup will get undivided attention, endless fetch in our big backyard, and plenty of socialization with our two dogs. On weekdays, our household follows a structured routine with morning and evening play sessions, ensuring your dog feels safe, exercised, and thoroughly loved while staying with us. Your dog will love our home! We have a large yard featuring a big, secure fence where dogs can safely burn off energy. We monitor the dogs closely whenever they are outside to ensure safe play and total security. Inside, our home is completely dog-proofed and comfortable. Our two friendly dogs love to play and welcome guests. We have plenty of cozy spots for resting, and because we are used to sizes from small terriers to large breeds, we can easily accommodate whatever setup makes your dog feel safest.
“Jessica is so thoughtful! She sends me multiple photos and prints a few glossies for me, hand-writes thank you notes, and sends home goody bags for Mootzie and me! Jessica's flexibility is priceless to me. Sometimes I have to leave town quickly to see about my elderly mother and/or my sister who is in a nursing home after a brain stem stroke. I was hesitant about Rover in the beginning, however it is truly the best solution for Mootzie and me! I love that he stays in a beautiful home and gets free reign and gets to sleep in the big bed at night! Another thing that really impressed me was when I had tried to book with another Rover caregiver and she was booked, HER dog was at Jessica's in her care!! So Mootzie had a familiar friend, and has made many more. Thanks so much, Jessica!!! We wuff you!🐾”

“Yinying was amazing with our dog !!!! She cared for him and accommodated our schedules!!! Her daughters also played with him . They took lots of pictures and keep communicating”

“Robert and his wife were wonderful to both our pups! They sent daily updates to me letting me know how my dogs were doing and were responsive when I would check in. The pups seemed very happy when they were picked up! Their home is beautiful and my dogs especially liked the fenced in back yard where they could see the deer! I would absolutely recommended using Robert and Evelyn to anybody needing a great pet sitter! They will definitely be our go to pet sitters in the future if needed! :)”

“Deborah and John took great care of our two pups. One requires several meds, and they embraced her without hesitation. They sent pictures and sweet notes throughout the stay, so we always knew how (and what) the girls were doing. And when we inquired about their availability for a future stay, they were booked but helped us find another sitter. We would definitely trust Deborah and John again and recommend them to others.”

“Rebecca did a wonderful job of taking care of our dog and posted pictures with an update daily! You can truly tell she loves animals and I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

“Ashley was amazing. My dog is very nervous and she warmed up to Ashley quickly. She kept in contact with us several times a day with cute photos and info on how our dog was doing. My dog was in a great mood when we picked her up. We’ll definitely use Ashley again!”

“I was more than pleased with my dog's 3-night stay with Shelley. This was a second choice for me, but I'm beyond happy that I went with her over my first choice. I was impressed that she sent pictures every so often, even though I didn't necessarily request it, and she gave him treats for the holiday. She even washed the cloth that I had in my dog's crate! I will definitely request her services again!”

“Lauren was very professional, kind, & communicative! We felt very secure & comfortable with her being in our home & caring for our kitty. She sent us photos of her visit & we could tell our girl felt comfortable with her too! We will definitely reach out to Lauren again for future care.”

“Becca was able to help me out, and take care of my crew on short notice so that I could attend an out of state funeral. It was so helpful to not have to worry about them while I was gone. She does a great job!”

About: Don’t tell the dog people, but cats are where it’s at! LOL. Kidding…I love any kind of furry family member! I was raised with pet cats and continue to love cats as an adult. I’d love the opportunity to cuddle or simply chat with your feline friend while away.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life. I have two dogs of my own so I’ll be sure to care for your pets as much as I care for mine. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m usually free in the morning and evening. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. If your pet is crate trained I can provide if needed.

About: Shhh - don't tell my pupper clients, but cats are my specialty! I'm highly experienced with cats. My own long-haired orange goober lived to almost 21, and I helped manage things like arthritis and megacolon along the way. I've got a soft spot for senior cats and all their quirks ♥ I'm comfortable giving meds and have a special place in my heart for older cats with extra needs. I love brushing, playing, and cuddle time, and no mess fazes me.

“As a Rover sitter myself, I want the highest quality of care for my own pets when I leave town. Katie exceeds all expectations! She’s timely, she’s a great communicator, and she truly loves your pets like her own. When you book with Katie, expect updates when she arrives at your place, lots of pictures/video while she’s at your home, and your pet’s needs to be well taken care of. Both my kitties and I love her, and will continue to book with her for as long as we can!”

“She is perfect behind measures. Sends updates and helpful with all chores. She is marvelous and awesome 👏. I am glad I found her again. She will make a good hand for any family that loves their pets. Thank you Rover, thank you America and thank you God.”

“Exceptional Pet and Home Care! BrieAnn was absolutely amazing while we were away! She took such great care of our cats giving them lots of love and attention and she sent daily updates and pictures without us even having to ask, which gave us complete peace of mind. On top of that, she went above and beyond by watering our plants, checking the mail, and even taking the trash cans to the curb. We came home to happy, relaxed cats and a spotless home. We can’t recommend BrieAnn enough she’s reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about both pets and people.”

“This was a last-minute need for us and our first time using Rover. And we are very happy that we found Rover. I highly recommend using Anita to watch your puppies. She took the time to come over and meet us and our dogs. She showed up on time every day that we needed her and most importantly our dogs loved her. We are very attached to our dogs and we loved the fact that she would send us pictures after every visit. We will definitely be using rubber and Anita again if you’re looking for a good person to watch your dogs Anita is the one!”

“Clara helped take care of our 2 doodles while we were in town visiting relatives. We checked out of our airbNB and couldn’t leave our dogs at our in-laws while taking the kids out, so it was a last minute decision that ended up being super convenient!! Thanks so much for caring our fur babies!”

“This was by far the best experience we have ever had with any sitter. We were in OKC for a softball tournament and had to check out of our Air BnB and non pets are allowed at the field. Christy response extremely fast and took great care of our pup. I couldn’t thank her enough!!”

“Sean and his family were absolutely wonderful! From the start, they made my dog feel welcome and safe. He came back each day more comfortable, relaxed, and happy—by the end of the stay, he practically felt like part of their family. It meant so much to see how Sean took the time to truly understand his personality and needs. I’m incredibly grateful for the thoughtful care and attention they gave him. They were very thorough and communicated so easily and clearly. I got pictures and updates every day. Thank you, Sean, for making this such a positive and loving experience for my pup!”

“They took great care of Oliver. We got pictures through the day and a video of his walk. He was happy when we dropped him off and picked him up. Great experience!”

About: I've been caring for animals for nearly 20 years, both as a pet owner and by helping friends with their pets. My experience includes dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, giving me a strong understanding of the unique needs and personalities of different animals. We currently have three dogs of our own, so I know firsthand the importance of providing consistent care, exercise, companionship, and plenty of love. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company, I'm happy to tailor my care to their routine and personality. Please note: I do not accept Pit Bulls or bully breeds. This is for the personal safety and comfort of my family. We understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities, and because we're home throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention and consistent care rather than being left alone for long periods. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly pups of my own to keep your fur baby company while you're away. I also have crates available, if needed, for those that are crate trained.

I do not mind cleaning up after your pets. I’ve been taking care of my own dogs from small to large for many years. Growing up, I took care of many different kinds of pets. “Becca was a great find - we were in town for a wedding and needed a dog walker during the evening events. Becca was so kind taking time to see us for a meet and greet prior to our scheduled appointments. We were very comfortable leaving our pup with Becca.”

About: I’m Emma! I have cared for and pet sat many different types of animals, from cats, (especially) and dogs, to goats and chickens. Growing up my family always had cats and a dog, so treating animals with respect and kindness is important to me, they deserve it. When I think about how I would want my pets to be cared for, I would expect only the best and same quality as how I would, you can expect the same standard of care I’d want for my own pets, whenever I take care of yours. I was taught about veterinary care for bigger dogs through an internship, so I have that experience if there are any medical needs for your dog. My job is to make sure they’re happy, safe, well, and cared for! I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am a college student who is in classes currently, I can typically do early mornings and late evenings, with short breaks mid afternoon. My Friday’s-Sunday's are typically free. I care for a cat and a dog of my families at home, and know their routine like the back of my hand. Along with feeding them and maintaining their water of course, I know how to brush, bathe and overall clean pets, know warning signs that they are injured (because cats always hide it really well) and also know how to keep them safe and healthy! I know other people’s routines with their pets may be different, but I am equipped, knowledgeable, and prepared to maintain your routine for your pets, whatever it looks like!
“Paula was awesome! We were in Kingfisher for a month and Paula arrived everyday. Paula went above and beyond during the big winter storm to get my travel buddy out to potty as he is very sensitive to weather changes like we had experienced here. Thank you Paula, my mind was as ease while at work knowing Dublin was in good care.”

About: My mom and I have taken care of animals all of our live. I have two indoor cats who love to play but also hide most of the time. We understand how important your animals are to you and how hard it can be to leave them. We promise to take care of your fur babies like they are my own and send you lots of pictures. We have a decent fenced in yard for dogs to play and will walk them each day. I work full time but my hours are completely flexible. About: I'm an animal lover through and through! I pay close attention to behavior and body language, so I can catch what a pet's really telling me, whether that's stress, excitement, or just wanting some space. I love getting creative with enrichment too: calming music, puzzle-style treats, or whatever helps a pet feel most at ease. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn what makes each one comfortable. My challenge is to be best friends by the end of the visit! I work a hybrid, mostly remote job, meaning your pet gets real company, not just quick check-ins. I'm flexible with routines and happy to work around walk times, feeding schedules, or whatever keeps their day feeling normal while you're away. (One note: I'll need WiFi access to work while I'm there.) I treat your home like I'd want mine treated; respecting boundaries, keeping things secure, and sticking closely to your pet's routine to keep their stress low. Happy to grab your mail, take out the trash, or handle any small tasks that keep your home running smoothly while you're away. I'm attentive to behavior changes and won't hesitate to reach out if something seems off. Your pet's safety and comfort come first, always.

About: I’ve been caring for pets continuously since I was 8 years old — that’s over 50 years of hands-on experience. Growing up on a farm gave me a deep and lasting connection with animals from an early age. I learned responsibility, patience, and the importance of providing a safe, loving environment for every creature in my care. Over the years, I’ve also taken in many strays, giving them food, shelter, and the attention they desperately needed until they found their forever homes. This lifelong bond with animals has given me tremendous empathy for family pets and the people who love them. I understand how much your pet means to you and how important it is for them to feel secure, comfortable, and genuinely cared for when you’re away. Whether it’s a dog, cat, or another beloved companion, I treat every pet with the same kindness and respect I would want for my own. Today, my own dog serves as my daily assistant and constant companion. He keeps me active, grounded, and reminds me every day of the special relationship we share with our animals. This close, everyday connection helps me bring real understanding and patience to the pets I care for. I’ve cared for animals with many different personalities — from easygoing to more independent or strong-willed — and I always adapt my approach to meet their individual needs. Feeding, daily care, playtime, and health monitoring have all been part of my routine for decades. I’ve learned how to create consistent schedules, provide mental and physical enrichment, and make sure every pet feels like part of the family. My goal is always the same: to give your pet the same level of love, attention, and security they receive at home. Caring for pets is a natural and consistent part of my daily routine. I currently share my home with a dog and two cats, so I understand the importance of structure, attention, and love in keeping animals happy and healthy. I maintain a consistent feeding schedule for all my pets. Meals are served at the same times each day, which helps them feel secure and supports good digestion. I’m especially attentive to individual dietary needs — for example, my dog is currently on a carefully managed elimination diet, so I prepare and portion his meals with extra care while still keeping the cats on their own appropriate feeding routine. I also make sure my pets get plenty of activity and engagement throughout the day. My dog gets regular walks that give him both physical exercise and mental stimulation. With my two cats, I incorporate interactive play sessions using wand toys, laser pointers, and puzzle feeders to keep them active and mentally sharp. These daily activities help prevent boredom and strengthen the bond I share with each of them. Above all, I show kindness through positive reinforcement. I use praise, gentle encouragement, and rewards to build trust and confidence. Whether it’s rewarding my dog for calm behavior on walks or praising one of my cats for using their scratching post instead of the furniture, I focus on reinforcing good behavior in a loving, patient way. This approach helps pets feel safe and happy, and it’s the same method I use when caring for other people’s pets. Because I live this routine every day with my own dog and cats, I bring real, practical experience to every pet I care for on Rover. Safety and trust are the foundation of the care I provide. Whether I’m doing an overnight pet sitting stay, taking a dog for a walk, or doing a quick drop-in visit, I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own dog and two cats. My goal is always for your pet to feel secure, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Building Trust from the First Meeting I believe trust starts with a calm, respectful introduction. I take time to meet your pet on their terms — letting them approach me first, using a gentle voice, and allowing them to get comfortable at their own pace. I pay close attention to their body language and personality so I can adjust my approach to what makes them feel safe. Pet Sitting (Overnight or Extended Care) When staying in your home, I maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes consistent feeding times, regular potty breaks, and familiar play or rest periods. I keep doors, gates, and windows secure at all times and never leave your pet unsupervised in unfamiliar situations. I also provide daily updates with photos and notes so you can see your pet is happy and safe while you’re away. Pet Activity & Walks Safety is my top priority during walks and outdoor activities. I always use a secure leash and harness (or the equipment you prefer) and remain attentive to the environment — watching for other dogs, traffic, wildlife, or anything that could startle your pet. I adjust the pace and length of the walk to your pet’s energy level and fitness. For dogs who need extra structure, I use positive reinforcement to encourage calm, polite behavior on the leash. Drop-In Visits During drop-in visits, I focus on providing everything your pet needs in the time I’m there — fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, medication if required, and some quality interaction or playtime. I always double-check that your pet is secure before I leave (doors locked, pets in safe areas) and send you a visit report with photos so you know exactly how your pet is doing. General Safety Practices I Follow I carefully follow all of your instructions regarding food, medication, routines, and any special needs. I keep emergency vet information and your contact details easily accessible at all times. I monitor your pet closely for any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and will contact you immediately if anything seems off. I use positive reinforcement and patience to help even shy, anxious, or strong-willed pets feel relaxed and secure in my care. Because I live with pets every day, I understand how important these small details are. My experience has taught me that when pets feel safe and trusted, they’re happier — and their owners can relax knowing their beloved companions are in good hands.

I have a spacious, secure fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play, and they’ll be treated like part of the family while they’re in my care. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when you’re away, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can see your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are always my priority, and I’ll work with you to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I understand how important routines are, so I’ll carefully follow your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special care they may need. In my home, your dog will enjoy a clean, comfortable environment with access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can safely play and explore.

“Rachel took extraordinary care of our 2 1/2 year old for his first night away from home, and we very much appreciate it. We wanted him to adjust to being away from home if necessary and she and her husband were especially kind and helpful to help him adjust with an overnight stay. He got to play with her two wonderful dogs in the back yard and could sit on the furniture, went on walks with her dogs, and came home happy! Thanks Rachel!”
