“Rikki and her family were excellent!! It was our first time boarding our 10 month old pup Luna, so we were nervous (and a bit high maintenance), but she put us at ease and was very communicative. Luna stayed about two full days and nights with Rikki. We met Rikki, her small kids, and other pups (two own, two other Rovers) at drop off — everyone was wonderful. They all spent tons of time outside with Luna, which is exactly what we wanted for her. Luna and the pups played around as soon as we got there, and based on Rikki’s pics/messages, that’s most of what they did for the two days. We came by to walk Luna after the first overnight, thinking she might have some separation anxiety, but Luna was happily tail wagging from the puppy party. Overnight, Luna slept in the bed with Rikki and her sweet daughter — again exactly what we hoped for. When we picked Luna up, she was happy as ever - thrilled to see us, but also seemed a bit torn to leave her new friends behind. Such is life. Perfect, sweet family for an energetic sweet pup that is good with social situations. Will absolutely come back to Rikki if we have another boarding need while in town.”

About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.

About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I'm a college student and normally drop in between classes and have the rest of the day to tend to pet's. About: I don't remember a time in my life when I wasn't surrounded with pets and animals. I grew up with three cats and a dog, had a few gerbals and hermit crabs, helped raise pythons, and get to enjoy dog kisses and and snuggles whenever I want from relative's pets. My grandparents live on a farm and love to help any of creatures us grandkids find. Animals are my passion! As a young entrepreneur trying to take my life and schedule into my own hands, Rover is the perfect way for pet owners to get thorough, compassionate care for their loved fur babies as well as help me attain more clients and doggo kisses for my already established pet sitting services. About: I've taken care of animals for most of my life. I'm an animal lover of all kinds. I've had cats, dogs, hamsters, & birds. Nothing makes me happier than to see a happy animal! Always looking forward to meeting new furry friends! I will update the Rover calendar with my availability to help you care for your animals. :) Happy to feed your animals, make sure they have plenty of water, take them on walks or to parks as necessary. Play time is something both of us would enjoy. Additionally, I will provide updates with pictures if you would like.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I couldn’t imagine a life without either. Animals bring me joy just like I’m sure they do you. I’ve been a volunteer at many shelters. I’d be honored to take care of your babies and give them the love they deserve while you’re gone. I would happily cat sit, dog sit, walk your dog, feed your pets and anything in between! 🐶🐱🤍 I currently have open availability any and every day to help you and your pets out! Let me know when and where and I’ll be there:) I live in a very spacious apartment that is pet friendly. I have a dog park on site. Plenty of room to walk the dog. I have an extra crate here if needed. We do have a cat but can easily place him in his room if needed to keep them separate. If I'm at your place, you let me know what needs to be done and how and it will get done however needed!
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been actively involved in caring for them from a young age. I’m experienced with daily routines including feeding, walking, playtime, and basic training reinforcement. I understand different dog personalities and energy levels, and I always prioritize safety, patience, and positive care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I currently only work 2 days of the week, saturday and sunday, the rest of the week i am free, i go to the gym during week days, minimum time away from home is 2/3 hours on week days. i have a fenced yard, and 2 cats that are good with dogs, and if not i always have extra room else ware around the house, i actively feed, and change little, take on walls daily.

I have a very flexible schedule at work with most weekends and evenings off! I can be available during the mornings and afternoons as well! I can adapt to your needs! About: I have been around dogs throughout my entire life and I love dogs very much! I know how to care, feed, play, clean and love dogs the proper way! I will make sure that I treat your dog with as much love and care as you treat them and with as much love and care as I treat my own dog! I am a teacher during the day, so I will be available to walk, play, or visit your dog any day starting at 5pm. If you need me to house sit for you and your dog, I can happily do that on the weekends at any time! I have been pet sitting for friends and family for around 12 years (big and little dogs, high anxiety, nervous dogs, dogs with medical needs, dietary needs). I don’t own any animals currently and would take care of your pet like my own. I enjoy going on walks, going to dog parks, playing fetch, tug, playing with mind/strategy toys, and giving healthy treats to help train a certain trick or correct a behavior. “Rikki and her family were excellent!! It was our first time boarding our 10 month old pup Luna, so we were nervous (and a bit high maintenance), but she put us at ease and was very communicative. Luna stayed about two full days and nights with Rikki. We met Rikki, her small kids, and other pups (two own, two other Rovers) at drop off — everyone was wonderful. They all spent tons of time outside with Luna, which is exactly what we wanted for her. Luna and the pups played around as soon as we got there, and based on Rikki’s pics/messages, that’s most of what they did for the two days. We came by to walk Luna after the first overnight, thinking she might have some separation anxiety, but Luna was happily tail wagging from the puppy party. Overnight, Luna slept in the bed with Rikki and her sweet daughter — again exactly what we hoped for. When we picked Luna up, she was happy as ever - thrilled to see us, but also seemed a bit torn to leave her new friends behind. Such is life. Perfect, sweet family for an energetic sweet pup that is good with social situations. Will absolutely come back to Rikki if we have another boarding need while in town.”

About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.

“Hard to miss how much Nathan and Jenna love dogs. And how could dogs not love them in return? They have the most amazing set up for a play area for the many dogs they welcome to their back yard. They kept me updated with photos and videos of our Petey as he enjoyed romping with other pups in the back yard and found just the right spot on Jenna's lap to cozy up. Thank you Nathan and Jenna for allowing Petey to join the fun at your home.”
About: I’ve had pets all my life! I’ve had my own pet sitting business I’m very passionate about pet care. Your pet will be safe here! Between me and my husband we’re almost always home. We do have classes for a few hours during the week. We have pets of our own so we already have a very well set schedule when it comes to them.
