About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. I have a large fenced yard for off-leash, supervised play time and live in a forest with acres of trails for leashed walks. About: We've had dogs our whole lives and love the joy they bring us. We've been pet sitting on and off for the last 3 years and would love the chance to take care of your family member! Jathan works from home every day and Dani's office is dog-friendly and we have some flexibility between the two of us to both do work from home days. If your pup absolutely has to have someone there at all times or has medication needs, we can also rearrange schedules to have both of us work from home, or bring them along to the office! We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard that everyone always has access to. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time back there relaxing, chasing bubbles and throwing the ball. We do have a hairless cat who typically stays in my sister's bedroom under the blankets. We make sure she has her safe space by not allowing even our dogs free access to her room and when we have new doggie friends, we typically put up an extra gate in the hall just to make sure everyone has their space.

I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals for 33 years after) taking care of puppies, adults and senior dogs (a pit bull, a Pekingese, Shih Tzu , then fostered a German Shepard, a Poodle, a black pup Lab), Taken cared of a Golden Retriever, a Pitbull, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around (I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need). Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-8 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, lunch, then around 3-4pm around/after dinner time , and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my child, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. I have taught my children not jump around,not rush, nor scare animals. Several families around us have animals of their own and I know most dogs have been trained or gone thru training as well as ours. I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too if you like. Your dog/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I will keep your dog/pet on a leash every time we go outside, so they don't go missing or let other dogs bother them. (Off leash free to run roam inside the house and I have a mini tread mill if outside walks and inside play is not enough). Our dog is up to date with all shots, vet visits, and takes medication for tick/flee, heart worms. We give our dog a shower once every other week and when she gets muddy. About: I think it’s very important that dogs get their daily exercise! It’s always a bonus for treats. They need their playtime and I ensure they are happy!
