I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.

I also once majored in biological sciences pre veterinary, so I have a lot of prior animal knowledge. My highschool was also a career tech school for animals. I’m available most days for pet care, I do work between 8-5pm Monday to Friday, but other than that I’m available whenever you need me. About: My property has 1-acre of fenced space where your pup can run around until their heart’s content. If you have a senior pup, a young puppy, or a dog with complex medical needs, you have found the right home. Having loved and cared for my own Akitas through major health challenges—including blindness—I am completely comfortable managing complex medication schedules, topical treatments, oral meds, and injections. As an experienced dog and puppy foster (who even once fostered a litter of nine puppies!), I understand canine body language and know how to support anxious or transitioning pets. Rest assured, your pup will be cared for and welcomed with open arms no matter their situation. Pet care is my full-time job right now. I am generally away from the home for no more than a couple of hours, and if I do need to be away for longer, I will ensure you are aware in advance. I have a fenced backyard and three dogs of my own who will keep your pup company. My own dogs are a senior male, fully blind American Akita, an adult female pug mix, and a male puppy pug mix (the adult female’s puppy). I ensure all dogs are kept separate during mealtime and, as needed, during playtime where dog toys may be involved. I have crates and playpens, extra dog dishes, and plenty of indoor and outdoor toys for your pup to use as much or as little as they want. My own dogs love to cuddle and sleep on the couch and bed, and your pup is welcome to as well, as long as it’s okay with you. I’m happy to provide updates throughout your pup’s stay based on a frequency you’d prefer to ensure you feel comfortable with their time in my care.

I am good with puppies in training, as well as senior dogs who need accommodations. >Right now I have a dog (Bailey, 3), a farm cat, a fish, and also a flock of ducks. >I also offer yard clean up services and homemade dogfood! >I have been working for Rover since 2023 after I graduated from OSU >I moved to Fairfield County in 2024 I currently work part time at a greenhouse and run my own business. Most of my days are very flexible and I am open to new short and long term clients! On Visits: I’m down stop in and visit your dog, or take them out on a walk in the yard or neighborhood. Feeding, playing, walking, trick training, giving medicine, and having hang time are all in my comfort zone. I can follow specific directions and trust my gut instincts. I love all dogs, big and small. They all have different personalities and I like to take my time to learn a dog and their preferences and tendencies. I always bring a treat with me on meet and greets if allowed, and I understand dog behavior enough to interpret their mood. For Dog Boarding: At my house, we have baby gates to separate the floors of the house, the cat stays upstairs most of the time. I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.
About: I love animals and to take care of them. I hope to provide your pets with a caring, safe, cuddling place to come. I’ve had animals since I was very little and have always loved them, I plan to be a vet tech when I can. I also have two dogs a chihuahua and an American bulldog that are both neutered. They are both very friendly as well and most of the time the chihuahua minds his own business. (By the way they are both male dogs). My whole family loves animals and would love for your to come stay or visit and even walks would be great. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room for dogs to run in and much more. I work part time so I have time to take care of your pups! If I’m not home my boyfriend is, we have two pups that go everywhere with us I have a fenced in yard and I go on daily walks with my two pups that can help keep yours company. I have neighbors that are are very friendly and there dog had puppies!
About: I have 20+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and needs. I also run a nonprofit animal sanctuary, so animal care is a major part of my everyday life. I have experience with rescue animals, seniors, shy and anxious pets, medication routines, mobility limitations, and animals who simply need a little more patience and understanding. Senior and special-needs pets are especially welcome. I’m comfortable helping with stairs, mobility support, medications, slower-paced walks, and adjusting care to whatever helps your pet feel safest and most comfortable. I’m home full-time, which means your pet gets plenty of supervision, companionship, enrichment, and one-on-one attention rather than being left alone for long stretches. Most importantly, I treat every animal as an individual and try to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible while they’re in my care. I’m home full-time and animal care is already a major part of my daily routine through my nonprofit sanctuary and rescue. That gives me a very flexible schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Safety and comfort always come first. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and take introductions slowly when other animals are involved. I’m experienced with rescue animals, seniors, anxious pets, and animals who need extra supervision or their own space. I’m also comfortable with medications, mobility assistance, crates, gates, and keeping pets safely separated when needed.
