About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I have been on rover since the beginning of June 2025 and have had many successful stays with multiple clients and their wonderful pets! I always put the animals needs before my own and make sure the animal is comfortable and content at all times! I am currently a full time student. I go to school in Richmond Indiana. My longest day at school is on Tuesday and I am there for about 6 hours. On Wednesdays I am at school for about 5 hours. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays I am at school for about 2 hours. I will devote the majority of my time to your pets aside from having to leave them to go to school for a few hours during the day. When I get back from school, I will make sure your pets are well taken care of and feel loved by playing and getting their energy out or by cuddling if that’s what they prefer:) I will care for your pet in your home with any and all instructions you give me. I will be willing to clean up any messes that are made. I will feed, bathe, and cuddle your pets! I will make sure they have enough water and always take them outside for potty breaks!
About: I’ve taken care of my own menagerie of pets since I was a girl ranging from reptiles, rodents, small parrots, cats and dogs. Through college I volunteered on a horse farm where I cleaned and helped take care of 10 horses, also worked at a local pet store for 10 years as a floor manager and excelled in animal husbandry. In addition I worked part time as a veterinary assistant. I’m a dedicated, responsible, hardworking Momma of two wanting to share my passion for animals with others. I keep a variety of animals, book me for your reptile/small animal/aviary needs by selecting “cat” and let’s chat about what you need done while your away. Keeping pets is my hobby and I’m passing this along to my young ones. Gone all day and have a new puppy that needs more attention. I’ve been there and can offer walks with BASIC obedience. About: I’ve cared for animals for many years and have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable providing everything from walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention to bathing, brushing, and basic grooming when needed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help their pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh food and water, take them on walks or let them out for bathroom breaks, provide playtime and affection, and give any medications according to the owner's instructions if needed. I also keep the home clean by picking up after pets, cleaning food and water bowls, and respecting the client's space. Throughout the stay, I send regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

This last time we left our 2yo German Shepherd and 7 month old puppy with Amanda for 2.5 weeks. It was a long time for us, but both dogs were healthy and happy. Unfortunately my puppy isn't 100% housebroken yet but he and his crate/bedding were clean and well taken care of. I could tell they had plenty of exercise and good stimulation.
