She wanted to know when I got home safely to make sure my kitty was good which I really appreciated. She tried to play with my cat and even brought toys from home while I was away since my cat is older and needs some activity. Everything was very clean when I returned. He is a senior now and needs a little extra attention in regards to mobility, so I am comfortable with that. When he was younger he had BOUNDLESS energy as well and was eager to please. I love being active and going on long walks, and I love taking the 4 paws dogs on walks while working on the skills they are learning, balancing that with play and relaxation. I'm self-employed and set my own schedule, which makes me flexible and available to others' schedules. Daily walks at parks or in my neighborhood to remain active. As a 4 Paws Sitter and Handler, I encourage bringing dogs into all environments, from stores to libraries, so I usually have a dog by my side throughout daily activities, including studying, shopping, and social events with friends. I'm very adaptable in new environments. I like to keep the pets on their usual routines to avoid creating any stress or new emotions and to keep them as comfortable as possible. No issue with overnight stays if the pet needs more maintenance or attention. I make sure to get a full rundown of any issues to be aware of, as well as maintain skills or rules that the owner has
About: I absolutely adore animals and have never lived a life without them. I adopted my very own sweet dog Sage at 18 (as soon as I was old enough) and she has been the light of my life. She has taught me a lot of patience and responsibility at a young age. She is definitely a wild girl but I wouldn’t trade her for the world! Since I have a dog I am pretty used to all of the craziness that comes with them like leash pulling, weird eating habits, mess, and of course slobber! I currently nanny from 9:00-5:00 Tuesday through Thursday so I am try to find something to fill that Friday-Monday gap! As I spend those days walking and caring for my own pup I figured I might as well look to see if I can help others! I am a very alert person when it comes to my dog as she is very shy and scared around certain things so I would have course be the same with anyone else’s dog! I would never want to put someone else’s baby in harms way so I am very cautious.

“With the right sitter, I think having our dogs stay in a person's home is significantly less stressful than staying in a standard boarding kennel. This was definitely the case with Amanda and her family. Our boys, Mack (a doberman) and Luke (a Miniature Schnauzer), did very well there and got along well with their family dog and cats. Mack had some intestinal problems while we were out of town and Amanda went the extra mile to make sure he was well cared for and recovered without issue. She also provided regular updates on our boys even though we had no expectation of this, which was great. When I came to pick the dogs up, I saw them lounging in the front room before they knew I was there. They looked right at home. We wouldn't hesitate to have Amanda take care of our boys in the future.”
