Their home is warm and gave us a feeling that our dog would be so well loved while we had to be out of town. Kelly also showed how much she cared and how knowledgeable she is by asking all the right questions and loving on Daisy like she was already a part of their family. Communication was terrific too! We received pictures throughout the weekend of Daisy on walks and being her sweet and silly self with Kelly’s family too! We are so happy with the experience that we already scheduled another time out of town - knowing that our Daisy girl will be totally spoiled and cared for while we are gone. “Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. About: I've been taking care of dogs for about 5 years for friends and family. I walk, feed, and administer medication. I also love to play with your pups! We will play a lot of fetch, go to the dog park, make crafts, and get lots of belly rubs. I have also had to handle seizures on several occasions. I currently work full time in downtown Delaware from 8:00-4:30, give or take the commute to and from your home. However, my weekends typically consist of hanging out and giving pups lots of play time. I love getting out for a walk or the dog park when it’s nice. If it’s not nice outside, I love to cuddle with your pup and a movie. When at other homes, I keep the same level of respect I would expect from someone staying in my home. I love animals and never want them to go without love and care! I am currently working at Lowe’s part time. I work 4-6 hours a day if I even work that day. About: I have a beautiful dog of my own at home, his name is Merlin, he is an Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix, and a huge bundle of energy! I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for by being patient and understanding with their individual personalities and needs. With my own dog and other pets I’ve cared for, I’ve learned that building trust takes time, so I never force interaction. I let pets come to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and secure in their environment. Creating a calm, loving, and stress free atmosphere is always my priority.
About: My whole life there was an animal in my household. So ever since I was 5 years old I would help out. It started off as just feeding the dogs but as I got older I gained more and more experience. Taking the dogs on a walk, letting them outside, simple grooming, administering medicine, etc. Dogs and animals alike have a special place in my heart. They truly are man’s best friend. Even if it isn’t my personal animal it is my goal to give your furry friend the same care and affection that they deserve. I’m currently a college student in my sophomore year. I miss my dogs now that I’m not home, so I truly do give other people dogs as if they are my own. My schedule is mostly open in the evenings and I’m more than willing to work things out, even outside of hours that are listed in my profile. I would want to get to know you and your dog before I come into both of your guys domain. I would follow directions however you desire and most importantly treat them as my own fur baby.

Growing up I had a Dalmatian, Chihuahua and a Pit bull mix. I unfortunately just lost my 12 year old Puggle and currently have a Beagle/Blue Tick hound mix. I can assure you when your dog is in my care, I will treat and care for them as if they are my own. I am currently a stay at home mom of twin boys! My husband works from home so I would love to be able to work your fur baby into my open schedule! I know how hard it can be to have to leave your pet for any amount of time and I will give your pet an ample amount of attention! I love to go on walks, play with their favorite toys, I can easily crate your pet if needed and I am able to give medicine if your pets requires me to do so.

“Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago.
