About: I am very reliable and will treat your pet as a part of my family. I have potty trained successfully all of the dogs I’ve had as well. I can send daily updates/photos as needed also. Your peace of mind is my priority. I work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of companionship throughout the day and frequent opportunities for potty breaks, outdoor time, and play. I have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to explore and play, and I can also provide up to two walks a day depending on your dogs normal routine and needs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable and confident when leaving your dog in someone else's care. I'll treat your dog like part of our family and make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care while they're with me. I'm reliable, attentive, and happy to send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is safe and having a great time!
“Melissa and her family took Rush in and treated him like a part of their family. So much so, that he didn't seem too excited about going home! Plenty of playtime and space to run, Melissa's place is perfect.”

“Jalaina was amazing, the sweetest person, she took wonderful care of my brownie and sent photos for update. Brownie was clean and so happy when I saw her after staying with Jalaina . Her family was so welcoming and warm as-well thank you so much. I would book you over and over again .”

“Amanda always does an amazing job with our Sophie. Sophie loves Amanda and her children! Thank you for the wonderful care and attention to details to make stay comfortable and loving! We are extremely lucky have you care for our Sophie!”

“Bethany was amazing! She took wonderful care of our two dogs and kept me updated with pictures and videos of their days. Both of my dogs are seniors and a little slower these days but their zoomie button has apparently been reset during their stay with Bethany and they are running and playing again like young pups. I would definitely board with her again.”

“Laurie was wonderful with Gracie! I was a little nervous letting Gracie stay away but from the moment we had our meet & greet I felt very comfortable. Laurie, her sweet dog Daphne & daughter were very warm and welcoming. Laurie provided many check-ins and promptly answered all of the questions I had. I would definitely Laurie to anyone looking for a sitter and plan to use Laurie again in the future!”

“My dog Murphy was returned to me as happy as he was when I left him. I was given a full report on his stay which left me with no questions. Most important, I was glad to hear how well he did with other dogs. Would entrust them with Murphy again.”

“Highly recommend! Took great care of my pup and was very good with communication! Flexible and you can tell she loves all animals as much as her own! ? my buddy had a great time there”
“Very responsive and sent many pictures of the dogs. Ares, being a large puppy, is a lot, but Jeanne was so kind to take him in and watch my pups. I would recommend her as a dog sitter to anyone in the area and would book again with her if needed!”

“Chelsea took wonderful care of Duke, and I’m so grateful for her kindness and flexibility. When the weather was rough at drop-off, she was very accommodating, which immediately put me at ease. This was my second time booking with Chelsea, and she was just as attentive and thoughtful as before. It was obvious Duke was well loved and cared for in her home. I also really appreciated the care and play Duke received from her son — it was clear he was given lots of attention and affection. I felt confident knowing Duke was in such good hands and would absolutely have Chelsea as my go-to sitter in the future. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable sitter.”

“April was wonderful! Our dog was very well taken care of. This was our first time using a dog sitter and April sent many pictures keeping us updated on how Mishka was doing each day to ease our minds. We highly recommend April and will not hesitate to use her services in the future.”

“Ronda is an amazing dog sitter!! She was friendly with us as well as the dog. I felt confident after the play meet because she let our good dog kairi run around in every room and outside. The house was very clean, freshly scented and safe for dogs. We were sent pictures everyday without asking or bothering her. We had no complaints for a whole 9 days on vacation to California. We will always contact her for future dog sitting no matter the duration. We trust her and she’s a good, nice, modern, casual, and sweet person. Easy to talk with and recommend her for sure upon being strangers. Ronda watched our pitbull with confidence with all the true information about Kairi. It worked out. Thank you so much!!”

“Hayley did a great job taking care of my dog. She kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout his stay. Not only was she great with my pet, but also did an amazing job communicating with me especially being flexible when I needed some help. I would love her to take care of my dog again.”

“Marie was a Godsend! I have never left my 2 cats but wanted to attend a wedding in Mexico. From the moment I met Marie, I knew my fur babies would be in good hands. She sent me pics twice a day and let me know how my girls were doing. Not only do I have a cat sitter, I have a new friend as well :) Marie is loving and responsible and I highly recommend her!!”

“Jennifer was simply amazing! She took care of my crazy puppy as her own, and I really couldn’t ask for anything more. She was always on time, great at communicating, and very reliable. I am booking her again - that should tell you everything!”

“Maya is an awesome nanny for our kitty. While we were traveling to Yellowstone National Park, Maya kindly helped take care of our little girl—our beloved cat, Meme. She kept us updated with photos and stories of Meme’s daily activities. As a talented writer, Maya beautifully captured their moments together with vivid and heartwarming descriptions. Meme quickly warmed up to Maya and settled in with ease. She’s been eating well—so well, in fact, that she’s noticeably heavier than before! We’re truly grateful for the time and care that Maya and her husband devoted to looking after her. Thanks to their support, we were able to enjoy our trip with complete peace of mind.”

“Tabatha was a blessing! I felt at ease while on vacation with Tabatha caring for our pets. From what I can tell she kept them on their toes and probably did a better job then I would do! I never expected so many pictures of them either playing, eating, or just being goofy. Would definitely recommend and hope she's available next time!”

“Briana was very responsive prior to booking and while my pup was in her care. My pup visited with her for “day care” over a four day span. She got to the point where she would whine to go to her house in the morning to play with Duke (Briana’s friendly and gentle lab) and get lots of love. I received videos and photos during her stay each day. Briana will be my go to when I am visiting New Castle.”

About: I am a single mom with 20 year old daughter who is away at college. I have a golden retriever who loves to have dog friends visit. Your pet will get the same TLC as my own dog. They will be a part of our family while they are with us. I have a fenced in yard, making it easy for your pet to be safe and get some exercise too. I have been watching dogs in my home for about 25 years. I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and I am gone on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from about 10-4, so I am almost always home aside from the occasional errands. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I can always run home in the middle of the day if a potty break is needed. Accidents are ok too. Mine has had a few over the years. Your dog will never be in trouble if this happens. You won’t have to worry about your dogs when they are with me. They will be treated like family. I work from home, so your pets will rarely be left alone. When they are, it is just for brief periods for when I running errands. I have a fenced in yard and w very friendly fur baby of my own. I can let them out frequently and always supervise outside even though my yard is fenced. I am able to feed them if they are here during meal time. I will just need to know if your dog is food possessive so I can make sure they eat separately from my dog. Unfortunately I can’t leave your dogs food down throughout the day because my dog will eat it.
About: I’ve taken care of pets–other people’s and my own–since I was young. I’m a huge animal lover and care for all animals as if they were my own. I work entirely from home and almost entirely on my own schedule. Whether we're hanging out at my house or walking around your neighborhood, I have lots of time for your pet! My home has two spare bedrooms for your pet to have their own space to relax. Pets are allowed on all of my furniture, so we’re always ready for movie night! I have three cats at home, so I would prefer cat-friendly pets for in-home sitting. In my home, your home, or on walks, I will follow your directions to the letter. Your pet's comfort and safety are of the utmost importance to me.

“My dog Arthur has very specific needs and doesn’t feel comfortable with just anybody. Arthur seemed to settle right in, and take over. He even ate his dinner which he doesn’t do when he’s nervous or anxious. I’m hoping that Chris will be available again sometime when I would like to get out of the house. Extremely pleased!”

“We love Wendy. My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner. We've moved too far away now, but she was so great to help us with last minute doggy daycare when we had a day of house showings before our move. We will miss her. She pampers the pets that stay with her. It's obvious that they become part of her extended family. You will not regret booking Wendy, I promise.”
About: I have been caring for pets my whole life. I have always had my own pets as well so I understand all of the responsibilities that go into caring for an animal. I love dogs and have experience working with them both small and large, ranging in ages from puppy to elderly. I love helping them get their daily exercise and helping them learn new tricks using positive reinforcement. I love going outside with them and allowing them to either run or even play a good game of fetch. I am also currently a cat mom myself so I also am capable of caring for cats as well. I realize that cats are both very independent but at the same time require affection as well. Your pet will be taken care of and loved as if it were my own.
“Maya did a great job with Merlin. Not only did she take good care of him but gave him some much needed play time. She even found some new food for him that he loves. Maya went above and beyond.”

“Mary was great! My puppy was a little apprehensive at first but by the end of the day settled right in. She had great communication and sent a few photos during the day and kept me updated to ease my anxiety.”

“Basil came home tired and worn out. I think she had a good time staying at Heather's with her man, and the kids! Would recommend her! Shes punctual with replying back, very informative, and fairly prices, and she accommodated basil with her special need.”

“Honestly I couldn't ask for more. My pup came from a shelter with an unclear history. I found a sitter who is hitting every goal I looked for. She truly cares for my girl and I couldn't ask for more.”

About: Hi I’m Hayley! I have about a year of Rover experience, doing doggie drop ins and walks. A little bit about me: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs nearly my entire life. I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love! I have two super friendly poodle mixes Nova and Arlo. Not only have I taken care of cats/dogs for 20+ years, I’m also the first to volunteer to care for my friends and neighbors beloved pets. I once babysat a neighbors 30 outdoor cats! I also have experience with senior cats and dogs. My expertise with dogs are home visits, walking and fetch or playing. I have a toddler who also loves animals and will accompany me at times, so a friendly dog is a MUST. I will watch one small/medium dog at my home in Ravenna prior to meeting them to ensure they get along with my pups. I treat my pets like family members, and would love to care for yours as well! I work a flexible hybrid schedule so I’m willing to work with your schedule. I’m available for overnight doggy daycare at my home for one family friendly pup if you’re out of town. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to keep your dog company. They love to play! I’m willing and able to crate if needed as well.
About: I have had pets ever since I was a small child: dogs, cats, hamster, gerbils, chinchilla, parakeet, turtles, even a toad that we saved from a freezing winter. We took care of it till spring and then released it. I love animals of all types. Almost, I'm not babysitting your tarantula or pet snake. My dog and cat are loved as if they were my children and your dog will be treated this way as well. We enjoy taking walks and car rides to the dog park in nice days. I never allow my dog outside without me. I am semi-retired and I work from home painting and repairing furniture and working on various crafts. Therefore I am very flexible with my time. I live in a decent sized 2 story home with a large back yard. It is not fenced all the way so my dog is always on a cable or leash. We live to go for walks and to the dog park for extra exercise. My dog is a husky mix and is almost 4 years old. She loves dogs of all sizes.

“Anthony and Leslie took such good care of our Harley! We received so many pictures throughout the day, so I was confident he was taken well care of. I would definitely book with them again. Thank you!”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. When my last one passed, my heart was broken and I haven’t been able to get another one. I watched my daughter’s dog for a year but took her back about a year ago to Idaho. I work from home and it’s very quiet without any four-legged friends to keep me company throughout the day. I would love to help you out by watching your fur baby (& I can’t lie, it would make my heart happy to do so :)) I only book for one owner at a time & I do require a Meet & Greet to make sure I am a good fit for you & your furry friend. I work from home and have the flexibility to take them out for walks as needed. I walk multiple times a day & would love to share that with a dog. Because I work from home, I am easily able to give a lot of love to your fur baby so that you can relax and not worry about a thing. I will love them like they are my own!
About: Over the past 20 years, I’ve cared for three of my own dogs from puppyhood through their senior years, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of life—from potty training and high energy phases to gentle senior care. I’ve also raised kittens into senior cats, so I’m comfortable with feline personalities and needs as well. Beyond my own pets, I’ve regularly helped care for the dogs and cats of family and friends. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet, and I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, love, and attention I gave my own. As a stay-at-home mom, pet care fits very naturally into my daily schedule. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, maintain their routines, and provide a calm, present environment while you’re away. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own space. I take a patient, gentle approach and pay close attention to each animal’s unique temperament—whether that means playtime and energy for a young pup or a quiet, reassuring presence for a shy cat. In addition to everyday care, I’m experienced in administering medications, including oral meds and insulin injections for diabetic cats. I understand how important consistency, attentiveness, and trust are when caring for pets with medical needs, and I’m confident providing that level of care. I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends over the years, helping with walks, feedings, routines, and lots of affection. Every pet I care for is treated with the same love and attention I gave my own. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and your pet a calm, loving experience while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities, whether I’m caring for them in your home or welcoming them into mine. In my home, pets are treated like family. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog and cats who are accustomed to other animals, creating a calm and welcoming environment. I’m mindful of introductions and each pet’s personality to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. Dogs are always leashed for daily walks, and I have a large yard that allows for extra exercise and playtime in a secure space. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to closely supervise pets, maintain their routines, and give them consistent attention and companionship. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special preferences you share. I also offer meet-and-greets before bookings so you and your pet can feel comfortable and confident. Building trust with both pets and their owners is very important to me, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in loving, attentive hands.

About: I have cared for pets most of my life. After high school, I would pet sit for teachers who went on vacation—and through word of mouth, became a regular on call sitter for 3 different homes with multiple pets. I have cared for, mostly, senior dogs but am so happy to give puppies the attention and energy they need. I especially love going on long walks. I am currently in nursing school and, because it’s an online hybrid program, I have lots of free time during the day and evenings. I have clinicals during the weekend but will be sure to block those days off when I get my schedule. I do not offer boarding for pets in my own home, since I live in an apartment, but am happy to do whatever you need to care for your little (or big) family members! All I need is instruction and I’ll take care of it.
“Maya has taken my dog on two walks now and I'm very satisfied with the results. My dog, "Sissy" gets bored easily and starts to find her own "entertainment". After Maya spent time with Sissy, Sissy was content with lounging around the house until I got home from work. Maya sent pictures and quick updates of the visit assuring me that Sissy was getting great care.”

“Jeannine was so helpful to us when we had another dog walker cancel last minute!! She stepped in & did an amazing job with Oakley! He loved the belly rubs & her company, I’ll definitely keep her in mind the next time we need a sitter!”

About: Growing up my family always had one or more dogs so we definitely had our hands tied, additionally, to make some extra money when I was a kid my brother and I would offer to walk dogs around our neighborhood. I moved forward with the love for handling pets and creating new appreciation for the impact they really do have on our lives whether it’s my own pet or someone else’s. I recently took care of one of my best friends dogs every Wednesday for a few months while she had clinical all day, and it really revitalized my passion for being around animals. I’m a big outdoorsy girl and love to hike so being able to do a service outside is like two worlds colliding- it’s the best! I currently work full time, 8am-5pm. However I wake up around 5:45 every morning and am available until 10 til 8am. And I’m available after work until just a little after dusk, so around 7:30-8pm. I have a pet of my own, a cat! Her name is Kai and I’ve had her for a little over two years now. She is my best friend and it was truly the best decision ever to adopt her!

I do not care for pets in my home as it is a shared space with roommates and pets. Thank you for your time and understanding.

About: I am 23 & have owned and worked with many dogs and cats over the course of 4-5years through doggy daycare/boarding facilities, assisting with obedience training, medical situations, petsitting, and of course owning my own pets as well. Each animal has its own unique personality, traits, and quirks that make them special. Which is what I love about them so much! I work full time at a doggy daycare and have been for the past 3 years! It’s amazing getting to be around so many different dogs each day, I learn something new every day I understand different dogs have different needs, and different owners have different needs for their pets as well. About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc). If there are any additional safety measures you would like to discuss, just let me know!
