They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. About: I’ve been around and have taken care of my own dogs since I was 10, any age, any size. For as long as I can remember I’ve never not had a dog of my own. They were not lying when they said dogs are a man’s best friend. I treat my fur baby like he is my literal baby because in a sense he is. And I treat any other dog just the same! :) I work full time m-f 9-5. I let my own fur baby out of the cage and he is monitored on a camera and watches tv while I am away. I can easily leave your fur baby out or they can be crated. I come home on lunch break to take Gravel out. I can only do boarding during the week but I have open full availability on the weekends. My own fur baby eats 2 times a day one morning one night. Gets treats often 🤭 and gets all the cuddles. I will treat your dog with the very same love and care as I do mine. Gravel is very loving and has been begging me for a play mate. Can’t wait to see where this goes.
About: My whole life there was an animal in my household. So ever since I was 5 years old I would help out. It started off as just feeding the dogs but as I got older I gained more and more experience. About: Growing up on a farm set the stage for providing and caring for all sorts of animals. Many years spent showing horses, lambs, goats, market hogs and all sorts of small animals in 4H. After college I started working with standardbred race horses as a groom. Since then for the past 6 years I have worked with racehorses, broodmares and foals. My 5 year old Mountain Cur mix Charlie Boy and 4 year old Bengal cat Bug are my adventure buddies, whether we're hiking local trails or rock climbing in the mountains. With 10+ years of experience caring for dogs, cats, small mammals, and the occasional reptile, I consider myself an experienced pet caregiver. I have administered medication, provided physical therapy exercises, monitored special diets, and provided wound care when needed. My time working with the Delaware County Humane Society has allowed me to foster dogs with medical or behavioral issues and support their rehabilitation. Safety and happiness are my top priorities for any pet in my care. I treat them like members of my own family, providing exercise, mental stimulation, medication and rehabilitation, transportation, and any other care as needed. As a remote worker, I have flexibility to accommodate mid-day walks, visits, or medication. My home is fully pet-proofed with a securely fenced outdoor space nearby. As a remote worker, I'm fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my regular routine. I typically start my day by taking Charlie Boy on a morning walk or run. We'll come home, I'll begin work, and he'll lounge by my feet or catch up on naps. Around noon, I take a break to get some energy out with Charlie Boy and give Bug her midday treat. In the afternoon, you can often find me sitting outside with my laptop watching Charlie Boy play fetch while Bug chases bugs in the grass. I'm able to schedule meetings and calls around pet needs, as well as take advantage of gaps between meetings to provide meals, walks, medication administration, or anything else a pet in my care may need. I finish up my workday while Charlie Boy chews on a toy beside me and Bug gazes out the window. After work, we all pile into the car to head to the park or explore a new hiking trail to end our day on an adventure together. My flexible schedule allows me to seamlessly provide excellent pet care while meeting the needs of my remote job. I'd love to do the same for your furry friends! For pet sitting in my home, I ensure my house is fully pet-proofed with no dangers for curious paws and mouths. I designate pet-friendly areas with beds, toys, scratching posts, litter boxes, and anything else to keep them comfortable and entertained. When pet sitting in a client's home, I follow care instructions for their specific pets and home environment. I provide the same level of care - feeding, medication, exercise, play, love and attention on a set schedule. For dog walking, I come prepared with waste bags. We go on 20-30 minute walks based on the dog's needs and age. I give them time to enjoy sniffing and exploring on the walk. For cats, I visit once or twice a day for feedings, litter box cleaning, play time and medication if needed. My goal is to provide a consistent experience whether pets are in my home or their own.
About: My care for dogs goes beyond my own personal pets, as I've volunteered and helped local shelters as well as neighbors and family friends with their pets. I am currently an independent contractor for a few different companies. I do not have a set schedule as I make my own hours so I am able to fit pet care into my daily and weekly schedule! The best way to care for a pet is by giving any pet the attention and love they need. I can stick to routines set by the pet's owners as well as providing updates to the owners on how walks, bathroom breaks, play time and other activities are going!

About: I’ve been working as a nurse now for 5 years. I have taken care of all kinds of dogs. I grew up with Newfoundland’s, Yorkies, Mastiffs, Golden Retrievers, Poodles of all kinds, and more. I’ve grown up having at least three dogs at all times. I’ve worked with training most of them and have experience in many training methods. I have experience in house sitting, boarding, and walking/ feeding dogs for others. I moved to Columbus a few years ago and just got married. We have yet to get our own dog, but I would love the opportunity to take care of your dog like it was my own! I’m currently working 32 hours a week. I’m free on Wednesday’s completely. I have evenings available (except Thursday) and I’m available on weekends. I’m an early riser, so if you need someone as early as 6:30am I’m your girl! Times gone: Monday 10-6 (work) Tuesday 8:30-4 (work Thursday 8:30-4 (work) Friday 8:00-4 (work) Sunday 10-12 (church) I will treat your pup just like my own! The more information you give me about them, the better! This way I can make sure i’m doing things/caring for them in a way that is the most familiar for them. You can expect quite a few photos of your pup when they are in my care, and quick communication from me as well. I’d love to walk your pup, however long they’re comfortable. Dogs when over our house can roam around wherever while we’re present. I have a guest room to keep them in, if I were not to be home. I can also crate them, as long as that’s provided with them! They are free to sleep on the couch, floor, or bed. We have no pets currently living with us, it is me and my husband. I have experience training dogs in public settings and taking them out and about to pet friendly places. If your dog is already trained and well mannered in public places, I’m more than happy to take them out to places that stimulate them and are pet friendly.
