If your dog is selective, reactive, or has shown aggression toward other animals, my home may not be the best fit. For your dog’s stay, please bring their food, vaccination records, and any medications they may need along with clear instructions. If your dog requires a crate for sleeping or when left alone, please bring one, as I do not currently provide crates. You’re welcome to bring a favorite bed or blanket to help your dog feel more at home, although I have plenty of beds and blankets available. You do not need to bring bowls unless your dog uses a slow feeder or a special bowl. I recommend leaving favorite toys or valuable items at home. Dogs love to play, and toys can sometimes get worn out or misplaced. Don’t worry though—I have plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep everyone entertained! My goal is to make your dog’s stay as safe, comfortable, and fun as possible while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, frequent potty breaks, regular supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I am home most of the time, pets receive companionship, exercise, and care tailored to their individual needs and routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! My schedule for pet care is more client-based than anything and I will always work my schedule around taking care of the animals needs first. On days I am working at chipotle, my shifts will be no more than 8 hours long. I prefer keeping the clients pets in their homes for their safety and comfort. About: I’ve been around animals since the day I was born. Currently I’m in college for veterinary technician, and working as a veterinary assistant. Animals are my passion and I love to work with them everyday. If you want a bath, or nail trims done I can also do this as well. Currently I am working full time but I have free evenings and my weekends are free along with a few designated weekdays. I can board pups overnight, or walk your pets in the evening if you’re out late. I have a husky mix who can keep your pups company while they stay with me, along with daily walks that we take her on.
