About: I have been helping care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with Dalmatians, dachshunds, black labs and Dobermans. To say I love dogs is an understatement. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! I am not ready to have a dog back in the house full time but have realized, after dog sitting for a friends and family’s dogs, this would be a great way to help care for others pets. My husband and I work from home so letting the dog out is no problem for us. While we do not have a fenced in yard, we do have a lead to let them out on and take frequent walks. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. About: We've had dogs our whole lives and love the joy they bring us. We've been pet sitting on and off for the last 3 years and would love the chance to take care of your family member! Jathan works from home every day and Dani's office is dog-friendly and we have some flexibility between the two of us to both do work from home days. If your pup absolutely has to have someone there at all times or has medication needs, we can also rearrange schedules to have both of us work from home, or bring them along to the office! We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard that everyone always has access to. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time back there relaxing, chasing bubbles and throwing the ball. We do have a hairless cat who typically stays in my sister's bedroom under the blankets.
