About: I’ve owned cats and dogs over the years. My family raised kittens for years when I was in high-school. I also had a dog of my own for 15 years. I’m always the first to volunteer to care for friends and family members pets when they are out of town or need extra help walking them during the work week. I am currently pet free and miss having furry friends around! I work evenings so I have plenty of time during the day to walk pets and take them on adventures! I’m happy to house sit or keep pets overnight as well, as long as they can be left for 4-6 hours in the evening! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. In your home, I make every effort to keep your pet on their normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. About: I have found that cats have a bit more personality and uniqueness than compared to dogs. I didn't grow up with cats but learned to LOVE them after my roommate and I adopted 2 kitties 4 years ago! We got to see a brother and sister grow before our eyes and clinge to us as parents. I respect cats for having "personality" and can read the room greatly when it comes to giving them space or more attention. In many ways they are easier to maintain but harder to befriend! Challenge is on!

About: Hello, my name is LēRae and I have one dog. Her name is Josie and she is husky shepherd. I grew up with dogs and have always had a furry roommate/coworker at every stage of my life. My family had rescued three pitbulls while I was growing up, so I am familiar with the process of taking in a dog and allowing them to become comfortable with you on their terms- especially in a home they are not familiar with. Since my own dog is a husky, I am most familiar with high-energy dogs. I work from home and we go on walks at least three times daily. While I don’t have a yard, the Miami Bike Trail is right outside my door so theres plenty of opportunities for walks . I use Rover both as a sitter and as a client so I understand the circumstances of ensuring your pup is in quality care. As a client, I prefer pic/video updates at least three times a day and will ensure you receive the same standard. Since I work from home, your pup will always have someone around. Unless there is an event or a quick errand run out— you will always be updated. I live in a one bedroom apartment with dog neighbors on both sides of me so noise is not an issue. My dog is a husky and can be verbal at times and will likely try to talk to your pup.

About: The things that separate me from other sitters are my active lifestyle, strong communication, adaptability/ flexibility and silliness! I love to go hiking, running, swimming at the family lake, explore dog parks and other fun activities while sitting. I am willing to go the extra mie and make your dog's stay a vacation and spend all day with them, I just expect to be fault comensated. And back living at my parents house with a big yard in the basement to play in. I have backup as well with my cousin who lives with me. Leashes all the time if they could get away or in public. I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals on and off for about 34 years) …cared for puppies, adults and senior dogs such as pit bulls, Pekingese, Shih Tzu , mini pincher Dobermans ,then fostered a German Shepard, a black pup Labradors, also taken cared of a Golden Retrievers, a Pitbull, poodles, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). About: We've had dogs our whole lives and love the joy they bring us. We've been pet sitting on and off for the last 3 years and would love the chance to take care of your family member! Jathan works from home every day and Dani's office is dog-friendly and we have some flexibility between the two of us to both do work from home days. If your pup absolutely has to have someone there at all times or has medication needs, we can also rearrange schedules to have both of us work from home, or bring them along to the office! We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard that everyone always has access to. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time back there relaxing, chasing bubbles and throwing the ball. We do have a hairless cat who typically stays in my sister's bedroom under the blankets. We make sure she has her safe space by not allowing even our dogs free access to her room and when we have new doggie friends, we typically put up an extra gate in the hall just to make sure everyone has their space.

“Daniel was amazing! We needed someone who has a lot of experience and could confidently care for multiple 40-50 lb dogs with various medical and anxiety/behavioral needs. Daniel was impressive! He took a good amount of time to meet with us and learn our dogs habits, personalities and quirks, and the commands we use with them. He had no issues walking our 3 dogs together, acknowledging them and giving them treats along the way. The dogs were very comfortable with Daniel, happy with thier walk, and responded well to his commands. My rescue dog who is wary of strangers even gave him kisses after their walk. On the 2nd walk, the dogs got very barky and excited when Daniel arrived and he was calm and confident and got them settled down and leashed with ease. We've had many pet sitters over the years and Daniel shines above all of them. His communication skills are excellent, he actively listens, very observant, understands the dogs, and overall seems like a natural who "knows what to do" to provide excellent care of our pets.”

About: I have multiple years experience working in a doggy daycare, kennel, and shelter environment. I don't have a dog of my own quite yet, but I am working towards obtaining a certification in dog training. I worked for 5 years at a kennel, and my work there ranged from being a part of the doggy daycare in the back to customer service up front. In my time there I have become fairly knowledgeable on dog behavior, body language, etc. I have been lucky enough to care for more dogs than I could ever count, with personalities to match! I’m always the first to volunteer to care for friends and family members pets when they are out of town or need extra help walking them during the work week. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl and that has been many many years ago.
