My dog was older and had a lot of health issues so I am familiar with different medication that may be needed. I’m currently in grad school for nurse anesthesia and study most days from home. About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover; I have cared for my own pets most of my life, and did my first ever (non-family) pet sitting job when I was about 12 years old. Even though I was nervous, Ashley did a great job by ensuring me she was capable and excited to take care of my cat. While my cat doesn’t have any specific medical concerns, I do know she can be a bit finicky and I was worried about her not eating while I was away. Not only did my cat love Ashley and continued eating, I got updates even though I wasn’t able to view them for a while, due to international travel that I could look back at and know that she was well taken care of. My home and my cat were safe while I was on my vacation and I could be stress-free. If I ever need to travel again, I will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

About: I always bring a treat depending on the pups diet. There will always be plenty of kisses given. I like to help with training. I can have Spot sitting on command after 30 minutes. Playing indoor or outdoors is my favorite thing to do. Especially hide and seek or playing in the pool. I’m good at observing dogs habits to understand what they do and don’t like. I volunteer with a local rescue and have helped with fostering. I am more than happy to help with an special needs and understand that they are all different. I enjoy helping animals, if I see them scratching their ears... I’ll gladly scratch them for them. I would feel bad not helping them out. I have experience watching deaf, blind, reactive/temperamental dogs. I am confident in working with them. My 2 dogs are spoiled rotten and socialized. They love meeting new pups. We moved so we don’t have a fenced in yard anymore. But had leads if they want to stay outside for a longer period of time. I also live next to my parents who have a fenced in yard where i could take them if you feel more comfortable with that.

I especially have a lot of experience dealing with scared or anxious dogs, this is because all of my pets are rescued from bad situations so I have learned over time how to read their body language and act exactly how they need to be comfortable. For dog walking if there is a neighborhood I will happily walk your dog in that neighborhood. However if it is not available I have my car set up to keep your dog safe in the backseat, granted that theyre ok being in a car, this way I can take your dog to a nearby park to walk. If your dog is not comfortable being in a car and there is not a neighborhood set up, im sure we can work something out! I always bring anything and everything your dog could need on a short walk such as a water bowl, bags, extra leashes, and treats.

About: I've been around animals since I was very young and love all of them. They are part of my family and will be treated as such while they're with me. I enjoy going on walks and keeping pets happy and entertained. I believe it's very important to know your fur babies will be in great hands when boarding with me. My beloved dog Mario is no longer with me; he lived for 13 wonderful years and was the best dog anyone could ask for. I haven't been able to get another one since then. Watching and caring for other pets makes me happy and brings me joy. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week. Working from Home is a blessing and has given me the flexibility to care for others pets. I do not have a fenced yard, but I live in a development that gives me plenty of opportunities to go for walks. As long as they come with a leash we will be walking.

Why I love dog sitting: I have rescued and taken care of all breeds of dogs, big and small. Dogs are our children on four legs. Meet my pet I have one 9-year-old pampered pit bull mix, Karma, who get along with other dogs. She is spayed and UTD on all shots, flea and heartworm medications. About our yard We have a huge 2 acre groomed back yard. However, I will keep your dog on a leash at all times unless you give me permission to let them run around the yard freely while being supervised at all times. I have extensive experience administering medications, nail trimming and bathing. I am experienced and comfortable administering oral medication, topical, injections and eye and ear medications. I am home full time and do not have a job. Your dog will receive my undivided attention. I will let your pup outside to play at least four times a day, and more if needed. If your dog is a senior or a puppy, then their play schedule will be adjusted according to their activity level. I will keep your dog on a leash while playing in our back yard, since the entire five acres is not fenced, unless you specifically tell me that it's okay to take them off the leash to play ball. At your home, I will follow whatever protocol you have in place, whether that be leashed walks or unleashed play in your yard.
About: When it’s time to go outside it’s time. Clean up areas where the pet(s) have pooped @. Please make sure they are trained with handling strangers. Thank you !
