From her daily updates, it was clear she took the time to understand Roo’s unique personality and little quirks — something that meant so much to me. Rooster can struggle with separation anxiety, and this was our first Rover experience where, when I arrived to pick her up, she happily greeted me and then immediately went back to playing instead of making a beeline for the car to go home. That alone speaks volumes about how safe, comfortable, and loved she felt in Kimberely's care. Her home is also clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for dogs, with a fenced-in backyard that gives them plenty of space to play and relax. I can’t recommend Kimberely highly enough. About: What sets us apart is the genuine care and experience we bring to every dog we welcome into our home. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and before having our daughter, we fostered dogs, which gave us experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs. We currently have a friendly 2-year-old lab mix, so we’re very familiar with maintaining routines, exercise needs, and positive reinforcement. One of our biggest strengths is working with anxious or shy dogs—we’re patient, attentive, and take the time to build trust at each dog’s pace so they feel safe and comfortable. We treat every dog like part of our family and strive to create a calm, loving environment where they can relax and be themselves. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday. Your dog will have consistent companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. During the day, dogs are free to relax, play, and interact with our friendly 2-year-old lab mix. We also incorporate daily walks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting), along with plenty of attention, affection, and structured routine. Because I’m home, I’m able to closely monitor each dog’s needs and adjust care to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home. Then when my husband and daughter are not in work or school they will help care for your dogs and play with them. In our home, we strive to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog in our care. We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play, explore, and get plenty of exercise in a secure space. Inside, dogs are treated like part of the family—free to relax, play, and enjoy a calm, structured routine. We can accommodate crate training if your dog is used to it or needs a safe space while we’re briefly away from home. We pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s extra playtime, a quieter environment, or a consistent routine, so they feel secure and at home during their stay.
“Ryan was very reassuring when I went to meet and greet him, and his dog, Ellie, with our two almost-1-year old Yorkies. He accommodated my concerns because of their small size and put mesh and draped, blankets on his balcony rails! I had never left the pups for more than three days so it was nice to get the photos and videos and messages Ryan sent that showed they were happy and well cared for. The puppies loved Ryan. (He said they played well with his dog, too)) I’m glad we can reach out again someday to see about the pups spending time again with their new friends, Ryan and Ellie!”

“We usually use a family member to take care of our cats. Due to a scheduling conflict we needed outside help. Sara did a great job! She was great at sending several photos of my happy cats. Sara was even able to see and get a photo of my super scared cat (Odie) that no ever sees, that just doesn't happen. We asked Sara to stay for an hour to love on them so they would not feel so abandoned. She did just that and we have pictures showing how our needy/affectionate cat (Loki) just crawled all over her. The area around the food and water bowl was left clean and tidy. The liter box was cleaned regularly. Thank you for attention to detail. If they could talk I am sure they would ask for Sara again by name.”

About: My family adopted our cat Sassafras when I was 10. As a kitten she had some health issues and injuries, so I had an early start in terms of tending to her properly, helping give her medicine, etc. She has since grown into a beautiful and healthy adult cat! I got more experience working with cats at an animal shelter, where I cared for stray cats, elderly cats, kittens, disabled cats, and diseased/quarantined cats, all with unique personalities and varying levels of sociability.

About: I am a huge animal lover! I currently have an 12 year old Goldendoodle named Stella. I have had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine ever being without one! I love taking Stella to dog parks, going for walks, or hanging out around town. I would love to do the same with any dog that I would be watching! About: I have 2 cats of my own - Echo and Luna. They were both rescued as tiny babies and are now 6 and 7. I have cared for dogs my whole like (my own, friends, families). I genuinely love every breed and can walk, play, clean up after or just spend time with any pet! I also am a registered volunteer at a local shelter where I go in to walk the dogs or spend time socializing the cats. I work from home so I could also keep your puppy while you’re at work to help with potty training, etc. I work from home and have pretty free weekends. Depending on location, I can be available throughout the week days and almost always available on weekends and evenings! I would be able to keep certain pets in my home. About: What sets us apart is the genuine care and experience we bring to every dog we welcome into our home. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and before having our daughter, we fostered dogs, which gave us experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs. We currently have a friendly 2-year-old lab mix, so we’re very familiar with maintaining routines, exercise needs, and positive reinforcement. One of our biggest strengths is working with anxious or shy dogs—we’re patient, attentive, and take the time to build trust at each dog’s pace so they feel safe and comfortable. We treat every dog like part of our family and strive to create a calm, loving environment where they can relax and be themselves. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday. Your dog will have consistent companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. During the day, dogs are free to relax, play, and interact with our friendly 2-year-old lab mix. We also incorporate daily walks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting), along with plenty of attention, affection, and structured routine. Because I’m home, I’m able to closely monitor each dog’s needs and adjust care to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home. Then when my husband and daughter are not in work or school they will help care for your dogs and play with them. In our home, we strive to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog in our care. We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play, explore, and get plenty of exercise in a secure space. Inside, dogs are treated like part of the family—free to relax, play, and enjoy a calm, structured routine. We can accommodate crate training if your dog is used to it or needs a safe space while we’re briefly away from home. We pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s extra playtime, a quieter environment, or a consistent routine, so they feel secure and at home during their stay.

About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.
