I only host one household at a time and am committed to giving your dog my full attention. Right now we have a pet-free home and will give your pup gets all of our attention. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family from the moment they arrive. Fri-Mon there is someone home at all times, so potty breaks can be kept to whatever schedule your dog requires. We don't often host midweek, but if we do, Tue-Thu we are able to limit alone time to approximately 4-5 hrs. I have a securely fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks, and will be present with you dog as long as they are outside (no leaving them alone despite the fence). Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I'll stick to whatever routine works best for your pet, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs. I'm experienced with senior dogs and large breeds, and I'm happy to share regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was a child. I have helped my girlfriend train our current dog which is a bernedoodle. He knows how to sit, shake, go to his pillow, and he is currently learning to roll over. I currently have a Doberman at my parents house that I help take care of while I am home. I am currently a dental student at Ohio state and I am in school from 7:30-4:00 daily but the weekends I am free. Some days I will finish before 4:00 but that depends on the week. I feed and water my current dogs and cats every morning and every evening. They get treats throughout the day when they exhibit good behavior and listening skills so they know that is a positive thing to keep doing it.

“This was our first time leaving Rufus anywhere overnight and he did fabulously! Karen was good to send updates and pics to assure me that Rufus was having a great time! He hit it off with Boomer and the two played all day and night. By time we got Rufus home, he was a happy, tired boy! :) We already have Karen scheduled for our next outing. Highly recommend!”

“Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago. I have finally found a place where I am comfortable to leave my boy and know he’s being well cared for. Thanks Mary!”
