“We were probably more anxious than the dogs to leave them with a stranger! This was our first time needing boarding after adopting Tiko 4yrs ago, and Bella 10yrs ago. We usually have at least one family member who stays behind for the fur babies. Bill was quick to respond, and allowed us a meet and greet before booking the stay. Their property us beautiful, with a huge fenced back yard, surrounded by cows and horses. They provided photo updates during our stay, and our pups seemed to genuinely enjoy their vacation from home. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. I am a stay at home mom so I can be extremely flexible with schedule and be available for your pet most of the time and attend to the needs of your specific pet. I will be sure to feed your pet as often as they are used to at home and with the food you provide. I spend lots of time outside with the kids so you can also be assured that your pet will be given plenty of outside time! I am happy to leave pets inside if they prefer that as well. About: I've been taking care of dogs for about 5 years for friends and family. I walk, feed, and administer medication. I also love to play with your pups! We will play a lot of fetch, go to the dog park, make crafts, and get lots of belly rubs. I have also had to handle seizures on several occasions. About: I am a mom who recently lost her dog due to cancer a year ago. I do this as a source of income due to my health and kids. I grew up with dogs since I was born and am very familiar with large/extra large breeds but love all dogs! About: I grew up within a household with a variety of animals. At one point we had five dogs, a cat, a bunny, a guinea pig, three hamsters, 5 birds, a bearded dragon, and a gecko. I learned at a very early age how to tend to animals (clean, feed, play, walk, potty breaks, etc) I enjoy helping others and especially caring for animals. They simply bring me joy. I have also watched over peoples dogs for a while and I started walking dogs since I was 9. My grandma had a community that she lived at and I loved dogs so much that I would walk them for free. My passion for dogs will never go away. I currently work front desk at a hotel. I work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I am able to walk dogs those days but only before 1 pm. Thursdays and Fridays I am totally free. And depending on the location, I can also do Saturdays. I currently have 2 dogs and they get walked once a day during the night. I also feed them a little differently than usual. I include green beens into their food as well as other healthy powdered ingredient so they are getting the right nutrition. I am fine with watching dogs at the clients home or mine. The only problem with my home is that I already have 2 dogs of my own. So the dog would have to get along with other medium sized mutts. When I have taken care of pets in another persons home, I like having a specific list so I know what’s best for the dog. I’m able to abide by any rules and I don’t mind if the dog needs extra care. I am up for it.
About: I grew up with both cats and dogs as well as living with both in my adult years. I do also have experience pet/house sitting in the past. I currently do not have a pet at the moment as my cat passed about a year ago. I am looking forward to be able to meet and get to play with cats and dogs! I do work full-time during the week but am available on the weekends for house-sitting, drop-in visits, or dog walking. I will open up availability for walking or drop-in visits during the evenings throughout the week. I will be able to watch your pets in your home as well as do drop-in visits in your home. This will include doing walks or playing.
About: I have prior experience walking dogs and I have had cats in my home for the majority of my life. I have also volunteered at animal shelters to help take care of the cats and dogs there. Pet care fits into my weekly routine well since I now have much more time available to dedicate to it. I am available most days of the week with normal hours (9 AM - 5 PM just as a ballpark) unless something comes up. I will care for the pets in their owner's home or in mine the same way they would if not better. If there is something specific that the pet needs, I will take care of it.
About: I had dogs growing up as a child and have taken care of them on and off throughout my whole life, but some specific examples of pet care include: taking care of my Grandparents 2 dogs when they no longer could, taking care of my best friends dogs (and many cats) when she goes on vacation, & of course taking care of my 2 cats that I am currently a mom of (I have had cats throughout my whole adult life). I understand the importance of allowing animals to get comfortable with you and come to you on their own terms and not trying to force them to let you pet them or play with them. I am comfortable taking the time to slowly encourage an animal to be comfortable in my presence. I am currently working part-time while I finish my degree, so I am available fairly often to help take care of your beloved animals. I am extremely reliable and I am often available for last minute situations and happy to help. I have experience and am comfortable with dog walking, picking up waste, and crating dogs when needed. I am willing to assist with cleaning litter boxes as needed and am willing to take time to play with and give your animals attention and love while you are away from the home.
About: i have taken care of dogs for at least 12 years now and we used to foster dogs so i constantly would take care of them, I have 1 dog named enzo and at my grandparents I have 2 pits and a new husky puppy and he’s a LOT to take care of but i always do( i’ve babysat some of my friends dogs before) I’m currently working part time at roosters as a hostess, and i typically get scheduled everyday except sundays but they are very lenient with schedules so i can always work around the time you need me for well i will definitely always want to play with them or if not playing with them just been snuggling up with them but im always willing to stay outside with them and play for however long until they get bored, ill match they’re energy always
About: I've had pets since I was 10. I have taken care of both cats and dogs. Friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Can't wait to walk new dogs/friends. I'm currently off of work for the summer as I teach full time during the school year. I am working on taking time for myself, exercising, and walking dogs. I take care of my pets by either crating them or leaving them in a bedroom when I am out and about. I have a crate for them to use.
About: My experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends for years. Ive had many different pets as a kid such as hamsters, dogs. cats, bunnies and a "miniature" lol (so we thought) potbelly pig.
