After spending 2 whole weeks struggling to find a sitter that was willing and able to take in a large, unfixed, hyper pitbull on short notice I got a response from Karma and instantly had a good feeling that this one might work out. And work out it did! She was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns promptly. Before meeting Karma I had almost given up hope of finding someone that would not only be able to handle but also appreciate my fur baby and give him lots of love while I was away...I was getting frustrated with time wasted on meeting sitters that didn't read my bio thoroughly and were not knowledgeable or vigilant enough to take on a challenging pup like mine. Then Karma confidently messaged me and convinced me that she was up for the job and that setting up a meet and greet with her would be worth my while. As soon as I met her I knew she was the right fit for Zeus. She was so knowledgeable and her experience and expertise were obvious from the get go. Her cool, calm and collected demeanor was a breath of fresh air after so many failed encounters that had left both my pup and I feeling quite anxious. It was such a relief to see Zeus warm right up to Karma and make himself at home at her house; where it was apparent that caring for pups is a full-time job. It was such a relief to finally be able to leave town to handle a family emergency knowing that my fur baby is in good hands with a sitter that is well equipped to handle anything pup-related. She even has given me (a first-time dog mom) some great advice as far as training and health concerns. So far she has kept in touch with consistent updates as to how Zeus is adjusting and plenty of pics and vids. About: I grew up with 3 dogs (2 rhodesian ridgebacks, and one mutt). When my family travels, I often house & pet sit the dog and cats. I have experience walking dogs of many sizes, and know basic commands. I am also comfortable with cats, as I grew up with them as well. I work from my home, so I have flexibility to walk around my daily meeting schedule. I truly miss having a dog of my own, but have a tricky travel schedule that does not allow it now :( I usually know my meeting schedule a few days in advance, and in general it is pretty regular. Like many rescue animals, they needed time, patience, and consistency before they felt comfortable in their new environment. Over the years, I have helped them build confidence through daily routines, training, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. Watching them grow from uncertain rescue dogs into friendly, affectionate companions has taught me a great deal about animal care. It showed me that every pet has a unique personality and that building trust often takes patience and understanding. Today, caring for my dogs is a regular part of my life. I feed them a combination of wet and dry food twice a day, take them on walks throughout the day whenever my schedule allows, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and affection they need to stay happy and healthy. One of my dogs also experiences seasonal allergies and requires medication during certain times of the year, so I am comfortable following care instructions and administering medications when needed. Because of these experiences, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. Whether a pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, young or old, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment where they feel secure, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.
About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: I’ve been walking and watching dogs since I could ride my bike around my hometown by myself. My family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers have always been able to rely on me to provide their pups with long walk or runs, feedings, baths (when needed), and endless cuddles (if consented to by said pup). I work full-time in Chagrin Falls; however, with a high-energy dog of my own, my free time is usually spent with him outside hiking or playing fetch in parks and on trails in the area. At this time I’m not offering boarding services. My apartment only allows for my service dog (PSA) to be with me there, unfortunately. But I’m more than happy to come house sit! As long as my pup Strider is welcome.

After spending 2 whole weeks struggling to find a sitter that was willing and able to take in a large, unfixed, hyper pitbull on short notice I got a response from Karma and instantly had a good feeling that this one might work out. And work out it did! She was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns promptly. Before meeting Karma I had almost given up hope of finding someone that would not only be able to handle but also appreciate my fur baby and give him lots of love while I was away...I was getting frustrated with time wasted on meeting sitters that didn't read my bio thoroughly and were not knowledgeable or vigilant enough to take on a challenging pup like mine. Then Karma confidently messaged me and convinced me that she was up for the job and that setting up a meet and greet with her would be worth my while. Her cool, calm and collected demeanor was a breath of fresh air after so many failed encounters that had left both my pup and I feeling quite anxious. It was such a relief to see Zeus warm right up to Karma and make himself at home at her house; where it was apparent that caring for pups is a full-time job. You can tell this isn't just a side hustle, but both a priority and a passion for her. It was such a relief to finally be able to leave town to handle a family emergency knowing that my fur baby is in good hands with a sitter that is well equipped to handle anything pup-related. She even has given me (a first-time dog mom) some great advice as far as training and health concerns. So far she has kept in touch with consistent updates as to how Zeus is adjusting and plenty of pics and vids. If you are looking for a sitter who will put your mind at ease that your pup will be under expert care and whatever issues or concerns may come up she can be trusted to handle it promptly and professionally, Karma should be at the top of the list! This is the first time I have been able to leave my fur baby with someone and have complete peace of mind knowing that he is in just as good (if not better) hands than mine! Beyond caring for my own dogs, I volunteer with a local animal shelter for a “Dogs Day Out” program where I take shelter dogs on outside to provide socialization, exercise and enrichment. These experiences alone have strengthened my understanding of dogs with many personalities and needs, allowing me to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care for every pet I get to meet. :) I work in the emergency department, so my schedule varies, but my partner and I live together so generally when I am not home he is there, and vice versa. When I’m not at work, I will spend all my time with your pet, taking them on walks, to dog parks, to get pup cups, etc, whatever you as the owner allow or prefer! I have a fenced in yard at my home, so dogs can be off leash to exercise, use the potty, and play time. During their stay in my home, they are welcome to be free roaming, not in crates, unless owners would prefer crates.
