Some of the photos included my cat bathing in the sun, resting on her couch, and pretty much just enjoying a little vacation. When I came to pick up my pet, she gave me the run down on his behavior and was also very kind enough to allow me to run around her house, move furniture, and to fetch my cat. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for years now and have worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility for 4 1/2 years. My neighbors always come to me when they need someone to take after their dogs. I’ve had experience feeding, giving medication, and training I currently work full time and usually get off early so I’ll have lots of time to care for your pups! I’m free most weekends and after 3 most days I’m not looking to provide home services at my home currently because I’m currently still living with my parents. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

I’m also available before 7am and after 4pm on weekdays and available on the weekends. Safety always come first. All outdoor time is fully supervised and your pup will never be off leash unless in a safely enclosed area. My day pretty much revolves around dogs — and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Since I work from home most of the week, I’m able to keep a flexible schedule full of walks, playtime, and cuddles. Even on my in-office days, I make sure every dog gets the attention and consistency they’re used to. I care for every dog as if they were my own. About: I spent 24+ hours volunteering at Cache Valley pet Hotel as a kennel technician and receptionist ensuring every client was up to date and comfortable. I am available for daycares Monday through Friday at 9a-5p, as well as overnight from 5p-9a. I can do Saturday and Sunday for drop-in from 12p-5p. I always follow a routine whether it’s the client’s or my own: potty breaks every 3 hours, feeding 2-3 times a day, playtime 1-2 a day for an hour (depending on client preference).
