About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I got my dog in college and have been dedicated to his care no matter what. Through moves and full time jobs, he has always been #1. He is a senior now and needs a little extra attention in regards to mobility, so I am comfortable with that. When he was younger he had BOUNDLESS energy as well and was eager to please. I’ve seen both sides and love them and all the traits in between Pet care is a 24/7 deal. They give us unconditional love so we should always be dedicating ourselves to the same. Daily walks, exercise and for sniffing are both beneficial and also just someone to sit by and patrol the neighborhood I care for pets how their owners would because that’s what will make the dog the most comfortable with a new person in their environment. He was here for 4 nights / 5 days and did all the usual cat car things: fed, gave meds, cleaned the boxes, and of course, played. Our cats were happy and settled when we returned. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly.
