“Patricia was great with Vincent, he was super comfortable from the very start. He loved being around Willow and looking at the chicken. We will for sure come back every time we're in town, amd we have CP season passes, haha. Communication was great, we kept getting updates and pictures, Patricia even cooked breakfast for Vinnie, and we got a surprise gift, which we absolutely adore.”

“We found Cynthia and Tim because their location was convenient for our activities around Ohio's Lake Erie islands, but we also found their home to be a great place for our pups to hang out. The pups got lake side walks in their safe and charming community. (We are considering making their Lakeside community a destination for ourselves.) We are grateful for Cynthia and Tim's flexibility in scheduling as well. We will definitely call them next time we're in the area!”

“Kelsey did an awesome job with Jazz. When we picked her up she was calm and relaxed. The only thing I wish Kelsey would of sent a picture to us during the day, but I didn't ask her to. Thank you Kelsey! We will use you again if we are in the area.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Carol. My 12-year-old husky means the world to me, and Carol cared for her exactly the way I would — spoiled and loved. She sent daily photos and updates, which really helped me relax while I was away. My girl was happy, comfortable, and clearly adored. I would trust Carol again in a heartbeat.”

“Beth took such great care of our boy while we were gone! It is so hard to find someone to dog sit our 165lb Saint Bernard and she was happy to! He had so much fun while staying with Beth!”

About: I have fostered many animals over the years. Very obedient dogs to deaf and blind dogs. I have also taken care of a variety of other animals such as ferrets, rabbits, and turtles. Hello, I am currently available at any time as I am taking a leave from my full time job for some very personal reasons. I will base things around your animals schedule. I follow strict instructions for your pets care plus more. Potty breaks are as frequent as need be especially with the age of the dog.
About: Hi! My name is Claire, and I’ve been caring for animals for many years. I am the primary caregiver for my two mini cockapoos, Izzie and Piper, whom I’ve raised since 2017. I’ve been responsible for their potty training, behavioural training, daily exercise, feeding schedules, enrichment, grooming routines, and veterinary care. I also have experience helping rescue and rehome cats, including two cats prior to adopting my current rescue cat, Peep, from a shelter in April. Caring for both dogs and cats has given me experience with many different personalities, temperaments, and comfort levels, including shy or anxious pets adjusting to new environments. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and attentive to care for your pets as if they were family. My schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to dedicate a lot of time and attention to the pets in my care. I am available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding for compatible pets. Because I have a flexible schedule, pets in my care are not left alone for long periods and can receive frequent supervision, bathroom breaks, exercise, affection, and attention throughout the day. Safety and comfort are extremely important to me. In my home, pets are treated like family and are always supervised carefully. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who enjoy meeting new friends. While my yard is not traditionally fenced, my dogs are safely trained with a secure invisible fence system and are always supervised outdoors. I also believe regular leash walks are important for dogs’ wellbeing and enrichment. My home can be separated into different areas if needed to help pets feel comfortable and safe depending on their personalities and how they interact with other animals. For larger dogs, cats, or pets who are most comfortable in their own environment, I am also happy to provide care in the client’s home.

“Tucker enjoyed his stay, so glad he made some new friends! We appreciated the communication, and will definitely schedule some doggy daycare in the near future, give little man a chance to run and play and do all the fun things! Thank you for everything Jennifer (and your husband too)!”

“Michelle took wonderful care of our cocker spaniel Perl. She was very friendly and communicative, sending numerous photos while we were away much to my daughter's delight. Perl looked right at home snuggling with Michelle and her husband on the couch! :) I would definitely trust our Perl to the care of Michelle again.”

About: I'm a young professional and homeowner with a six-year-old Cocker Spaniel and two cats (I just had to get my anxious boy his own cat). I've had animals my whole life and often find myself gravitating to animals over people. My animals are my family and in my care, yours will be too! I work a full-time job, but my home activities center around the animals. They're cared for morning and evening, and my weekend activities are centered around making sure the animals have adequate care and socialization. They're provided fresh water twice a day, food twice a day, and the dog always gets time outside of the house once I'm home, even in the cold.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been natural to me. In Canada, I’ve provided in-home boarding, overnight stays at clients’ homes, and drop-in visits for feeding and walks. I’m attentive, responsible, and truly enjoy spending quality time with pets, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I am based in Leamington. For overnight stays, location within nearby areas (Windsor, Kingsville, Chatham, etc.) is not a problem — I can pick up and drop off your dog, or you’re welcome to bring them to me. My availability is primarily focused on overnight care. On weekdays, I am out from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. However, I work just 2 minutes from home and can stop by during the day for two breaks — one 1-hour visit and one 30-minute visit. Some clients provide a camera for monitoring, which I’m happy to install so I can keep an eye on your pet while at work. If I notice anything unusual, I can quickly go home to check without any issue. On weekends, I am usually home. I may step out briefly for groceries or a workout (typically no more than 2 hours at a time). For non-overnight services (feeding and walks), availability depends on location and number of visits needed. • In Leamington or within 20 minutes, I can visit twice daily (morning and evening). • For locations 45–50 minutes away (Windsor, Chatham, etc.), weekday visits are available after 5:30 PM, and weekends allow for more flexibility and multiple visits. I live in a small, cozy apartment, which creates a calm and intimate environment where dogs can feel safe and comfortable. Because I live alone, your pet receives my full attention and care. As long as they are clean and well-groomed, they’re welcome to join me on the couch — and even sleep in the bed if that’s part of their usual routine. I always prioritize maintaining their normal habits to help them feel secure and at home.

“My partner and I are homebodies and rarely separated from our two wonderful aging Labradors but had a short notice occasion that couldn't include our dogs. Since our dogs are usually with us 24/7, we do not have an emergency backup. Our vet suggested Rover.com and Cindy came to our rescue. We had a "meet and greet" the same day as my initial contact and Cindy was agreeable to a day care service on a day she usually isn't available. She was personable, demonstrated a kind interest in our pups, and they were safe and happy when we returned. I was very pleased to learn of this service and would not hesitate to use Cindy again! What a relief!”
“Pippin did so well there! They were amazing with him and took such great care and updated me with little things to reassure me on how he was doing! Great people! Would use them again for sure!”

“Katelyn and Andria were amazing with our corgi puppy, Millie! She had a great time and even made a new pup friend while she was there. When we picked her up, she was happy and totally exhausted, which is always a good sign! We really appreciated the care and attention they gave her. Highly recommend!”

“Charlie had a great time with Patricia. And he loved spending time with her doggie as well. We are so happy we found someone who could watch Charile while we went to dinner.”

About: For three years I walked two leash pulling cocker spaniels. I turned to watching Cesar Milan for tips, soon I had the dogs walking next to me with the leash loose in my hand. Their owner knew when I’d come to walk them, because they would be barking then quit, due to my entrance with no eye contact. As Cesar says dogs sense with their nose, eyes and ears consecutively. The owner made a comment once “oh, Ruthie must be here”. I’m currently working full time. I would be available after 4 pm Monday - Friday. I travel out of town every other weekend for family. It would work better if I could come to your place. I live in a small condo. That way your pet is kept in it’s familiar surroundings.
About: I have my own pet and I have taken care of my friends dogs and family. They call and ask me to pet sit or feed while they are away. I am currently working but will be layered off in a few weeks so I will be home to take care of your pets while you are away. I have a backyard and a leash to take your pets outside. I also have a male dog of my own so the dogs can have play dates and are not alone. 3 small children that lives animals. I give baths walks and play
“We cannot say enough good things about Suzanne! Our dog Barkley had a wonderful afternoon at her house: he spent the day basking in her sunny yard and napping inside (basically Barkley’s idea of a perfect day!) Suzanne was wonderful to communicate with: prompt, friendly and quick to answer any questions I had. Additionally, she was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times which we really appreciated, and she communicated during Barkley’s visit. We will absolutely book Suzanne again and highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Chedeline accepted our Franklin on short notice, and arranged for a morning drop off. Her kindness was evident from the first communication, and continued throughout the stay. We are grateful we found her, and would work with her again, anytime.”

“My puppy Kai had his first play date with Beth and he loved it! Thankfully she was understanding of his creativeness with other dogs and worked with him to make him comfortable while being in her care. We will definitely be coming back!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life, and currently only have cats but would love some dogs in my life, even just to walk or board :) I walked many dogs and developed close relationships with them at the Licking County Humane Society for four years, and currently dogsit, walk, and take care of my friends’ dogs. I’ve been caring for dogs on Rover for over a year. My schedule differs a bit each week with work. I have a mix of weekday and weekend availabilities, and can work around your schedule most of the time! When boarding, I always do a morning, midday and nightly walk unless you’d prefer otherwise. “I have not left Morris many times in the past. Jennifer was very kind and reassuring that Morris would be well taken care of & he was! Jennifer sent a picture & texts throughout the day which kept me calm. Morris had a great adventure on the farm & I would definitely leave him in her care again! Thank you so much!”
About: I've been taking care of pets, plants and homes for the last ten years. I believe in having a pet owner coming back to their pet/home in better shape than they left them. I've encountered many different personalities of pets over the years and understand each has different needs and desires. About: A little about me! I have been dog sitting for over four years and truly enjoy caring for animals. My professional background includes working with children through the Boys & Girls Club of America in both after-school and summer programs, as well as working in senior assisted living communities, where I currently work full-time. I also earned my esthetician license, but I continue working in assisted living because I love building relationships and caring for others. I currently provide pet care for friends, family, coworkers, and referrals through mutual connections. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets when you’re away. My goal is to make both you and your pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I make it a priority to keep pets active, engaged, and happy through playtime, walks, and other activities. My goal is to provide a comfortable, familiar environment that helps your pet feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.
