About: I currently work as a veterinary technician and have been in the veterinary medicine field for six years. Growing up, I had a feisty miniature dachshund and a goofy golden retriever. When I moved out, I got my own dynamic duo over the years- a chihuahua mix (Brulee- like the dessert crème Brulee) and three years later an Australian shepherd mix (muffin). Brulee was a very opinionated and particular girl while muffin is a gentle soul and afraid of her own shadow. I am fear free certified and have been since I entered the vet med field, it is something that is very important to me and I practice it with every animal I interact with. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. If they have special needs, behaviors, or quirks please tell me everything- I want to know all about your pet! I love taking dogs on walks and hikes, allowing them to set the tone and pace- if they want to speed walk, we can do that or if they want to take a leisurely stroll sniffing every blade of grass that is fine too. I will keep your dog leashed the entire time we are out of the house, unless we are in an enclosed backyard. I do not take dogs to dog parks, unless have a well-established recall and if you request me to. However your pet wants to play, I am game- we can play ball, tug of war, hide and seek, or treat puzzles- whatever gets them excited! I am happy to medicate and feed your pet as needed. I prefer to meet you and your fur baby beforehand to ensure safety and it is a good fit! I currently work from home full time and pick up shifts at clinics when I can. My schedule hours vary so I can be available at normal or obscure hours. As long as we can find a window to make it work, I am happy to be flexible for you and your fur baby! About: I have a little over 3 years of experience caring for my friends and family’s dogs. They have entrusted me in walking their furbabies when they are unable to, feed and bathe them while they are away, and watch them for extended periods of time. I am currently available Monday-Friday after 4 pm to walk your dogs, or check in on them and feed them if you are away. Weekends I have an open Availability. When I walk, my attention is on the dogs (not my phone) and when I dog sit, I treat your home how I'd like my home to be treated if someone was staying there (i.e. not really wandering around and/or touching stuff, ha) and again, all attention is on the dog. Otherwise, I'll just be writing away on my scripts. I absolutely love dogs and have raise several from puppies. This is also an outlet for me after the passing of a beloved elderly dog that I had since she was a puppy. I'd be happy to take excellent care of your dogs.

About: I am a dedicated petsitter who provides excellent services to your furry friend. I pay attention to detail in their behavior, health, and even the routines. As you choose my services, you can trust that your furry companion will receive the love and attention they deserve and that you'll always be in the loop about their care. I currently have plenty of time to play and take care of your fur baby. I do take same-day visits, however, please note I will not always be available due to my work schedule. Rest assured the fur baby will always be played with and snuggled from time to time. Do let me know if they have a restricted schedule. I normally help with refreshing my clients dogs water bowl at every meal, take them out to use the restroom, and play with them. If there are set guidelines, a printed form of the steps would be highly suggested. In addition, you always will be communicated.

“Melissa was very accommodating and helpful. She accepted and helped carry in his crate which is the safest place for him if they leave the house. She said that would only be for a short time and maybe not at all. She sent several pics of our dog playing outside , interacting inside or making himself at home on a bed. He was safe and returned home tired from all of his play/running around. I was very grateful for Melissa’s care.”

About: I’ve owned cats and dogs over the years. My family raised kittens for years when I was in high-school. I also had a dog of my own for 15 years. I’m always the first to volunteer to care for friends and family members pets when they are out of town or need extra help walking them during the work week. I am currently pet free and miss having furry friends around! I work evenings so I have plenty of time during the day to walk pets and take them on adventures! I’m happy to house sit or keep pets overnight as well, as long as they can be left for 4-6 hours in the evening! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I have a dog park at my apartment complex, and take lots of daily walks as well. In your home, I make every effort to keep your pet on their normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. My 14-year-old son is gentle, respectful of animals, and has grown up around both dogs and cats, but all pet care and responsibility is handled by me.
