About: We both grew up with dogs and have always loved them. We are proud owners of 2 rescue dogs and love socializing our pups with new dogs and new experiences. Rachel previously volunteer trained service dogs for 4 Paws for Ability. When your pup stays with us, we will spend time playing, walking, running, visiting a local dog park, or cuddling on the couch. We use positive reinforcement to train dogs and correct behavioral issues. We are happy to provide baths if the dog gets dirty with us. Dogs must be up to date on shots. About: I spent 24+ hours volunteering at Cache Valley pet Hotel as a kennel technician and receptionist ensuring every client was up to date and comfortable. I am available for daycares Monday through Friday at 9a-5p, as well as overnight from 5p-9a. I can do Saturday and Sunday for drop-in from 12p-5p. I always follow a routine whether it’s the client’s or my own: potty breaks every 3 hours, feeding 2-3 times a day, playtime 1-2 a day for an hour (depending on client preference).

I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

They have entrusted me in walking their furbabies when they are unable to, feed and bathe them while they are away, and watch them for extended periods of time. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !
About: I have had dogs and cats since I was a kid! I treat pets like they are kiddos! I am a huge animal lover! I have a dog a bunny and a cat that I have trained to be best friends. My bunny is free roam and is litter box potty trained! I believe animals are super important for humans and vice versa. I care for my pets like they are my kids. I will do the same for yours. I am a teacher full time and going into sumner breaks am able to help out walking and doing drop in visits during the days for furry friends. I am available to do drop ins and or walks on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursday’s during the work day. I have to take care of my daughter on the other days I am very good with having good instincts when it comes to what pets want and need. I believe they should stick to a schedule just like a child. They also need us around and not be lonely!
About: I am open and able to care for many different pets with a variety of unique needs. Old or young they will all receive the proper care they deserve and be loved as my own I am free anytime all you have to do is ask. I have a very flexible schedule and am able to adapt to what is necessary I have a fenced in yard and a great area to take walks in. There is a park closeby to my house and it's overall just a great and safe environment.

About: I have always been around various breeds of dogs from different types of training. I was always the one to jump up when it came time to feed/walk/bathe/pill/groom the dogs around my family and the neighborhood. I have always figured out how to comfort and help the anxious or reactive dogs, my goal was and is to just help these animals exist as happily, heathy, and peacefully as possible. I’ve fosterf puppies, fostered and retrained aggressive adolescents, and nurtured seniors. They give true unconditional love, I only wish to return it. I have a pretty open schedule currently, so I can easily adjust my schedule to make sure your pet gets the most fulfilling experience with my time with them. Although I cannot watch your dog at my own home, I am willing to monitor your dog through the entire visit to ensure they do not cause damage at your home or to themselves. I know plenty of ways to stimulate your pet inside and outside.
