“Our family had to go out of town for a funeral without a lot of notice. We had never left our kitties with a stranger before and we were pretty apprehensive about it. But from the first meet and greet through our return home, Kayla did so much to put our minds at ease. Here are some highlights: At the first meeting, it was obvious that Kayla loves animals. I wanted someone here for them whose heart was truly in this job, and her’s really was. She also not only answered all of our questions, she asked some that we weren’t even thinking about (lights, plants) and took detailed notes. While we were gone, Kayla kept our kitties fed, gave one of them his medication, which we expected, but she also took lots of pictures and sent updates about her time with them. And gosh, I loved these updates! They were detailed, and some made me laugh, these updates also kept me from worrying about my pets during a time when I had a lot going on. “Kayla was awesome! My dogs are very “needy” (lol) and require a lot of time and attention. I needed a day where I could just solely focus on work and getting things done. Also, they hadn’t had a bath or groomed in awhile and their fur was starting to get matted so thought I’d get that done also. I messaged Kayla asking if she was available that week to watch them/bath & brush them. She offered to take them immediately that day! She was very nice when I met her and made me feel comfortable. She took so much care and time with grooming them while also making sure they were comfortable to make sure that she got all the matts out that she actually kept them until 9pm with no extra charge. She also kept me updated every step of the way. My boys came home so soft and clean and I could also tell she tired them out because they both came home and went straight to sleep. She sent me lots of photos of them playing which made me happy to know that they had a great time!”
About: We've enjoyed 4 dogs and 3 cats during our marriage. Our current dog is a 2-year-old mutt who LOVES to play with other pups, and our cat. She came from an abusive home, and it took several months to help her feel safe. If you have a shy/scared dog, we are understanding and patient. I work from home, so I am available at all times. I prefer to take walks in the mornings when it's warmer, and in the afternoon or evening when it's cooler. I like to let the pups play together as much as possible, but I do like to give one-on-one time with each pup a few times each day. Gates are set up to keep pups in a safe area where I can see them at all times. We mostly allow them to play together or with toys we provide. I take each pup outside at regular intervals, as provided by their parent, to relieve themselves.

Your animals will be well taken care of, and I will provide consistencies they are use to at home upon request. I work from home 4 days a week, but my mom who works from home is home daily. Animals are never unsupervised! I get home around 5pm when I go into work. I walk dogs as much needed and have necessary needs provided in house (leash, bowls, mid size cage, brush, yard, etc). No worries if certain materials run out or are not provided.

November 2025 started year five of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. For boarding and daycare we are located on 30 acres in Tipp City, with 6 private fully fenced dog parks to choose from. We have 10 kennels, and pups are kenneled during enrichment and overnight with an on-site team member who stays with them. About: I have taken care of and been around animals for as long as I can remember. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to take care of, feed, and play with their pets. I have been on rover since the beginning of June 2025 and have had many successful stays with multiple clients and their wonderful pets! I always put the animals needs before my own and make sure the animal is comfortable and content at all times! I am currently a full time student. I go to school in Richmond Indiana. My longest day at school is on Tuesday and I am there for about 6 hours. On Wednesdays I am at school for about 5 hours. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays I am at school for about 2 hours. I will be starting back at Sinclair on the 22nd of August, However most of my classes are online, so there will be plenty of time for walks, drop in sits, etc. My family has a huge fenced yard that our two dogs love to sun bathe/play in. The dogs enjoy getting at least 2 walks a day around our neighborhood, sometimes to JDs Frozen Custard for pup cups!🤎

“Sierra was scheduled to sit our two pups while we were out of town for 5 days. Unfortunately, our eldest Dozer, had a mast cell tumor that needed to be removed immediately a few days before our departure. Sierra was extra careful with him and even took him into the vet when his incision became infected. She sent pictures a few times a day and was extremely responsive. She is byfar the best sitter we've found on Rover and would highly recommend her to watch your pups. She will take care of them as if they are her own.”
