“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. Whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or longer stays, I have plenty of time in my schedule to make sure they’re all well taken care of. I care for pets by keeping their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed— and make sure they’re getting plenty of attention, not just the basics. I keep things clean, send updates/photos, and make sure your pet feels safe while you’re away.

About: I grew up within a household with a variety of animals. At one point we had five dogs, a cat, a bunny, a guinea pig, three hamsters, 5 birds, a bearded dragon, and a gecko. I learned at a very early age how to tend to animals (clean, feed, play, walk, potty breaks, etc) I enjoy helping others and especially caring for animals. They simply bring me joy. I have open availability (other than dates marked off calendar) and am flexible to try and accommodate your schedule as best as possible in order to make things easy for you and your pet. My male husband and I own a house with a fenced in backward and a neighborhood to walk in. Since I have open availability, I have time to tend to the animals without any distractions from other tasks.
About: I worked for an AKC dog handler since 2011. 10 years grooming and training all sizes. From a Pomeranian to a giant Schnauzer. I have 1 dog and 5 cats. I am a very active person. I have had animals since I was little. To me they are a stress reliever. I can bathe and dry and trim nails and remove lose hair. I try to find things to do or in nature with my animals as much as possible. I'm 46 and my dog is 8. I am offering boarding and day care. I wake up at 5:30am for the day. Feed at 9am and let dog out as much as every 2-3 hours. Dinner is at 4pm Feeding playing with and making sure they are comfy before I leave the kennel.
