About: I have helped take care of friends' and neighbors' dogs/ pets for several years. I am very responsible and dependable. My husband and I have previously fostered dogs as well. I am currently working full time but have some time on the weekends to love on pets! My (human) girls would also love to help your fur babies play until they're worn out! We have a large yard that would provide plenty of room to run around. We do not have a fence so we would not be able to safely care for a dog that would take off.

About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I'm a college student and normally drop in between classes and have the rest of the day to tend to pet's. About: It brings me great joy to care for animals. I love rescues, seniors, energetic animals, loafers and grumpy pets. I refer to all dogs as puppies. I see the puppy in them always, even the grumpy ones. With a scared or unsure dog, I don’t try to make friendship happen. I’m happy to simply be with them, provide comfort and let them decide when we’re buddies. I worked for several years at a local veterinary practice and about two years in an emergency veterinary hospital, working with a wide variety of dogs, cats and birds. I’ve also had dogs and cats throughout my life, including adult rescues. I also have farm-sitting experience caring for chickens, ducks, geese, quail, rabbits, turtles, pigs, sheep, goats and turkeys. I’ve spent time around cattle, zebras, donkeys and horses as well and am always open to learning and expanding my experience. My schedule is currently very flexible, with plenty of room in my day for the dogs in my care. Our days naturally include outside time, walks, play, meals, companionship and plenty of time to relax. I’m happy to adjust that rhythm around what your dog is accustomed to at home. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard and one friendly, active senior pup who enjoys having company. I’ll learn your dog’s normal routine, what they enjoy, what makes them nervous and any little quirks that help them feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, sleeping and crate routine if they have one. Ours is a genuinely animal-friendly home where furry friends are welcome to get comfortable, including on the furniture and bed.
