“Rikki and her family were excellent!! It was our first time boarding our 10 month old pup Luna, so we were nervous (and a bit high maintenance), but she put us at ease and was very communicative. Luna stayed about two full days and nights with Rikki. We met Rikki, her small kids, and other pups (two own, two other Rovers) at drop off — everyone was wonderful. They all spent tons of time outside with Luna, which is exactly what we wanted for her. Luna and the pups played around as soon as we got there, and based on Rikki’s pics/messages, that’s most of what they did for the two days. We came by to walk Luna after the first overnight, thinking she might have some separation anxiety, but Luna was happily tail wagging from the puppy party. Overnight, Luna slept in the bed with Rikki and her sweet daughter — again exactly what we hoped for. When we picked Luna up, she was happy as ever - thrilled to see us, but also seemed a bit torn to leave her new friends behind. Such is life. Perfect, sweet family for an energetic sweet pup that is good with social situations. Will absolutely come back to Rikki if we have another boarding need while in town.”

I'm familiar with grooming dogs for show. But I am now retired from all those things. But I still retain my skills. Not to toot my own horn, but I have had 1 dog invited to West Minister. I am a retired school teacher. So I am usually very flexible. With my animals. Currently my. Project is working with. A new toy poodle I got. Training him. In obedience. I have one puppy, toy Poodle. About: I have had kitties most of my life. I love kitties! Right now I have 2 cats of my own and I foster others. It took 3.5 years of trying before I could even pet one of my foster kitties. Last summer I took in a feral mom cat and 3 of her kittens. I worked and worked with the kittens to be able to touch them. One loves to be petted and the other 2 kittens will only let me pet them while they are eating a churu treat, lol. I bought a generation 7 wheel for the kittens. The one male kitten gets the wheel going so fast! He loves it! They're all so fun and spunky :)

About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.

About: Im am the proud owner of two fur babies. My oldest cat is 11 years old, I've had him since he was 4 months old. I believe he chose me. I adopted him when i was going through a personal lost and he brought me so much joy. My second fur baby was adopted at 2 months old when her mom abandoned her, as she assumed she would never make it in the world but my sweet girl is now 4 years old and thriving. I stand out from other pet sitters because not only have a had cats for years but with my family & I have had fish, turtles, doves, parakeets, dogs( Great Dane, Terrier, chihuahua), and a Guinea pig. I believe it gives me a variety of experience above a-lot of others. My pets have been in my family for their entire lives and I believe pets are truly apart of the family and should be adored as such! I am awoken daily by my two lovely cats. I start my day by opening the blinds and curtains so my babies can sun bathe. Then i head to the bathroom the clean their litter box. Next comes their feedings. My cats are what you can considered spoiled lol. they have a filtered water fountain, and two different food bowls EACH (one for dry food and one for wet). My day begins and ends with checking on them. I don't not have a fenced in yard because I live in an apartment, but we have designated restroom areas for pets. So, I will need a harness/leash to take them out. I allow my pets on my furniture so your pets would be allowed on my furniture as well.

About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I'm a college student and normally drop in between classes and have the rest of the day to tend to pet's. During the summer I am usually employed and work around my schedule At home I spend time walking the dogs mostly and hanging around the house with them. About: I've owned both dogs and cats sense I was little. Throughout my childhood years I would frequently watch over the neighborhood pets. I am especially great at training the little ones as well as entertaining and exercising the energetic type! I currently work part time and am looking to fill some days with something else. When I’m not working I am home taking care of my own dog and doing chores around the house, with plenty of time and energy to take care of whatever furry friend stays with us! I work until noon Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays until 3pm I would need to make sure your pets are cared for before I go to work @7:15am. I have a neighbor who helps me let my dog out while I'm at work, so I would be free after work to check on your animal(s). I would then need to come back to my house and take care of my animals and then go back to check on yours. I could do that as often as needed and then longer thru the night. I anticipate every situation to be different so depending on the need. I would be able to keep kitties in my spare bedroom. I have a large screen door to put in front of the bedroom door to keep them separate from my animals if needed. I am flexible to what the needs may be
About: I have experience caring for my neighbors' and friends' dogs. If your shift is longer than expected, I will stop by and feed or let your furry family member outside. In my spare time, I volunteer at the Humane Society to help exercise and socialize those dogs that are looking for their forever home. I can administer medication and give injection medication. I will exercise and walk your dog, play laser light with your cat, or do whatever else is requested. I will also provide watering of plants, picking up your mail, and bringing in your packages I typically do not spend the night, but we can discuss a drop-in schedule to ensure all needs are met. About: I have a background in caring for exotic and household pets. I have had cats growing up ever since I was little and would find strays in our yard, to the current 3 cats in our home now. I had a beagle for over 15 years, and have experience working with dogs in a boarding kennel within a veterinary clinic. I have experience working with a variety of animals including tropical saltwater fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals ranging from crocodiles to sloths and penguins. Each animal has their own schedule and routine that vary from eachother, so extra care is often times needed. I also recently worked for an aquarium for the past 6 years, which I was a supervisor that worked up to 12 hour days taking care of basic and advanced care needs for the animals in our facility. I can give basic medications if needed or bottle feed/syringe. I can let out your dog on a runner or lead if that is preferred. Walks are also fine, given proper training based on the specific needs of the dog. I can provide playtime and enrichment to help with extra energy that needs burned off as well.

I work at a kennel Thursday through Sunday 5-9pm! I can be as early as you need! I am off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! Fridays I do go into work at 1 and leave around 9! I live in an apartment and only have 2 cats but I clean their litter box everyday and feed them twice a day. “Rikki and her family were excellent!! It was our first time boarding our 10 month old pup Luna, so we were nervous (and a bit high maintenance), but she put us at ease and was very communicative. Luna stayed about two full days and nights with Rikki. We met Rikki, her small kids, and other pups (two own, two other Rovers) at drop off — everyone was wonderful. They all spent tons of time outside with Luna, which is exactly what we wanted for her. Luna and the pups played around as soon as we got there, and based on Rikki’s pics/messages, that’s most of what they did for the two days. We came by to walk Luna after the first overnight, thinking she might have some separation anxiety, but Luna was happily tail wagging from the puppy party. Overnight, Luna slept in the bed with Rikki and her sweet daughter — again exactly what we hoped for. When we picked Luna up, she was happy as ever - thrilled to see us, but also seemed a bit torn to leave her new friends behind. Such is life. Perfect, sweet family for an energetic sweet pup that is good with social situations. Will absolutely come back to Rikki if we have another boarding need while in town.”

About: I have been dog walking and house sitting since I was in 6th grade! I wanted to help and earn money for my parents so we could afford groceries! Over time I grew to love watching over animals and their homes! I love every single animal I have come by and absolutely adore taking care of them and getting to know each and every spunky trait they have! I have a very flexible Hybrid job! I work from home Everyday except for Wednesdays! On my office day I work in Twinsburg from 8:30a-5p. If your pup cannot be left alone for 7-8 hours, let me know in advance so I can request to work from home on my office day :) Being active is one of the most bonding experiences between you and an animal! Most importantly I make sure to ask about their animals activity and if they like certain areas to walk in or play! Making sure to follow an animals regular schedule is super important because it can be stressful for them to have a new person in their home and having that person follow their routine puts the furry friends at ease as well as pet parents :) Proper care is of upmost importance !
