We were thrilled to find such a caring and compassionate couple in a quiet neighborhood for our 9-year-old chihuahua mix pup. Daisy is quite reactive to other dogs and small children, but they were able to provide a safe and comfortable home for her while my family was out of town. Beyond excelling at basic care, Anthony and Leslie showered love and attention on Daisy throughout the week. We appreciated the frequent pictures and videos that Anthony sent throughout the week (avg 4 per day) showing Daisy in such bliss - ready for belly rubs, watching squirrels, resting and relaxing, and going for long walks. I have dog sat throughout the years on and off. I work overnights from home 3 nights a week and am off the other 4. My working nights are a little wonky but the dogs enjoy me being home all the time. As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc). About: I’ve raised two dogs on my own from puppies now one is 12 and one is 8 and they are great. I also have a year old kitten. They are great with other dogs. I have dog sat throughout the years on and off. I work overnights from home 3 nights a week and am off the other 4. My working nights are a little wonky but the dogs enjoy me being home all the time. I have a fully fenced in back yard as well as a house big enough to give all the pets their own space for down time

I work every weekday during the day but would be more than happy to care for pets in the evening and on weekends! Or could always stop in during my lunch to let the pets out for a potty break!
