About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

I have two dogs that love being outside when it is nice out. My yard is not fenced, but I have a run in the yard and one on the porch. They will be a part of our family while they are with us. I have a fenced in yard, making it easy for your pet to be safe and get some exercise too. I have been watching dogs in my home for about 25 years. I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and I am gone on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from about 10-4, so I am almost always home aside from the occasional errands. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I can always run home in the middle of the day if a potty break is needed. Accidents are ok too. Mine has had a few over the years. Your dog will never be in trouble if this happens. You won’t have to worry about your dogs when they are with me. They will be treated like family. I work from home, so your pets will rarely be left alone. When they are, it is just for brief periods for when I running errands. I have a fenced in yard and w very friendly fur baby of my own. I can let them out frequently and always supervise outside even though my yard is fenced. I am able to feed them if they are here during meal time. I will just need to know if your dog is food possessive so I can make sure they eat separately from my dog. Unfortunately I can’t leave your dogs food down throughout the day because my dog will eat it.

About: I have cared for pets most of my life. After high school, I would pet sit for teachers who went on vacation—and through word of mouth, became a regular on call sitter for 3 different homes with multiple pets. I have cared for, mostly, senior dogs but am so happy to give puppies the attention and energy they need. I especially love going on long walks. I am currently in nursing school and, because it’s an online hybrid program, I have lots of free time during the day and evenings. I have clinicals during the weekend but will be sure to block those days off when I get my schedule. About: I have a great experience in senior dog care which may include more guidance, patience and frequent potty breaks. I also just had two puppies of my own who are 6 months old and have experience in handling them. I work a close by day job and have the flexibility to do 3-4 drop ins daily, and multiple visits if needed. I have the flexibility to stay overnight as well. About: Growing up my family always had one or more dogs so we definitely had our hands tied, additionally, to make some extra money when I was a kid my brother and I would offer to walk dogs around our neighborhood. I moved forward with the love for handling pets and creating new appreciation for the impact they really do have on our lives whether it’s my own pet or someone else’s. I recently took care of one of my best friends dogs every Wednesday for a few months while she had clinical all day, and it really revitalized my passion for being around animals. I’m a big outdoorsy girl and love to hike so being able to do a service outside is like two worlds colliding- it’s the best! I currently work full time, 8am-5pm. However I wake up around 5:45 every morning and am available until 10 til 8am. And I’m available after work until just a little after dusk, so around 7:30-8pm. I have a pet of my own, a cat! Her name is Kai and I’ve had her for a little over two years now. She is my best friend and it was truly the best decision ever to adopt her!
About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc). About: My names Jessica, I have 3 dogs a beagle and a pit mix, a cat, and a rabbit of my own. As many know you can only have so many animals of your own. Which is why I would enjoy helping others care for their animals. And bonus, I get to see and interact with more animals. I worked while in nursing school so I know life gets busy and it’s nice to have a helping hand you can rely on to care for your animals. I’m a registered nurse and have been in nursing for 11 years. Although I have enjoyed nursing, doing some type of dog daycare, boarding or walking has always been a dream of mine. So allow me to love your pets as you do and help! Currently my schedule varies, but I work 2 or 3 12 hours shifts a week as a nurse. I have a fiancé, friend, and parents who have helped me with my animals during busy times or vacations. As for my own pets, my three dogs get fed morning and evening. My cat has an automatic feeder that portions her foods out because she has a sensitive stomach. My rabbit lives in his hutch and visits inside at times, he eats lots of veggies and his pellets. His favorite green is cilantro! Unlimited water for all the animals of course. When the weather allows I like to walk my dogs. In the summer I also enjoy taking my dogs on our boat and they enjoy it to the fullest. I am looking to offer pet sitting and walking. The pet sitting would include going to the clients home letting out, feeding, and playing with the animals twice per day, if any special circumstances we can discuss and potentially work something out, and also if an animal would require medication I can do that as well. I’m open to dogs, cats, and rabbits only because that is what I’m familiar with.

About: I’ve had 2+ dogs in my entire life. In my adult life I’ve had 2+ service dogs that travel with me. I am a critical care nurse who has taken pet CPR as far as safety. I have emergency meds as well. Luckily, I have a house with a fences in yard, animal friendly household with spare rooms and a heated/cooled garage/closed/secured garage for any kind of special separation needs (in heat/aggressive breeds/outside animals, etc). Currently off enjoying a break from work, .. . So as of now, my schedule is very flexible. My household/fenced backyard/garage, is sectioned off pretty nicely. So, I have a very flexible availability overall. I am very positive I can meet most requests/needs for boarding/grooming/daycare/etc. So just let me know! About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).
