I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family, when you are away. My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-8 times with pictures)! About: I have had plenty dogs around me my whole life, my mom has had small to large breeds of dogs of different sizes. Dogs are such smart loving animals! I feel that they deserve love and the same care as A human. They are family and I love doing it as it relieves alittle tension if I’m having A bad day. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! About: My furbabies are extremely important to me, so I understand how important they must be to you! We currently have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and a rabbit. I have had dogs for 25 years and cats for my entire life. I have fostered over 50 cats in the last ten years, and I have fostered, boarded, and cared for many dogs besides my own. I also have experience with a slew of other animals, including ferrets, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, fish, and horses. I am currently waiting for my Master's in Social Work program to start again, so I have too much free time on my hands. I would love to use it to meet your pets! About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I can remember. We had cats growing up and they were the light of my life. Every day I looked forward to coming home and knowing they would be there waiting for me to give them all the love. Starting in high school is when I began to get familiar with dogs as well. Neighbors, friends, and family have all taught me so much and then began relying on me to love and care for their fur babies. Which included anywhere from walking, feeding, grooming, and overall well-being. I've done quite a bit of house sitting recently and have no problem with cleaning when needed as well. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.
About: I grew up helping my parents take care of 5 dogs at a time (9 dogs in total). I also took in a kitten 6 years ago. Together I am well rounded to help with most sizes and breeds of pets.
